Adalwulf helped Aetas to the inn that Treylon went into, not glancing back to see if Reis was following. The sun had lowered in the sky from when the battle in the town had finished. He paid for a couple of rooms, giving the correct amount of coins to the innkeeper, while she went to rest. "I don't even know why I'm going through with this. " he muttered, plopping down in a chair in the main room of the building, not bothering to go up to the second floor that housed the rooms yet.
