At Atticus' suggestion Mitsu's tail began to wag. "What game should we play?" She looked to Poke first with her question but looked to Blade as he declined. Eyebrows furrowed forward she turned to Atticus. She was used to adults playing so maybe he would. "Will you play with us then?"

Once Riyo was safely up the tree, Neko took her hand though barely used it as he made his way up. He just barely missed being jabbed in the leg with a tusk as the boar emerged from the bushes. "Keep moving!" He jumped off the other side, landing a little easier since it wasn't so high up and held up a hand to help Riyo down. He could hear the boar on the other side of the tree pacing in frustration, no doubt looking for a place to go around.

"A game?" poke questioned. She finished her food and stood up, trying to think of a game to play. Hide and seek would be good, but she didn't want to get lost.
"How about tag?" she asked mitsu.

"No." Was Atticus's simple reply to Mitsu's question. He'd been expecting them to ask. Though, he'd also been expecting Blade to respond positively.
"Remember kids, you're only young once. Enjoy it." He had said it to everybody, but it was directed at the young black-haired boy more than any of them.
Riyo didn't take Neko's help this time... Instead, she leapt off the log and managed to land on her feet, her knees bending to the ground. They snapped forward like a catapult when she'd lost her momentum from the fall and she kept moving like Neko had told her to.

Glancing up at Atticus, the boy looked back at the fire for a little longer as he thought on it. Well.. tag did sound kind of fun he supposed. He was torn on the idea. It was rare nowadays that anyone wanted to play with him.
"... I.. I guess I'll play then.." he mumbled, still not too certain, "This better not be a stupid game though.."

"Yay!" Mitsu hopped to her feet before bounding over to Blade. "Then, your it!" Tapping him quickly on the shoulder she ran off as fast as her little legs would take her. Her spurt of running enticed Tobi a bit and he followed at her heels yipping happily.

Riyo was off like a light and with only a slight bit of hesitation, Neko was right behind her. They burst through the shrubbery and foliage that covered the forest floor, small branches and thorns tearing at Neko's clothes and skin. He did not stop though, there wasn't even a paused because despite how much distance they had put between them, it felt like the mother boar was at their heels. He barely avoided tripping over a tree root just before the clearing came into view up ahead. "There! Up ahead!" How naive it would be to think making it to a clearing would mean safety, luckily the mother boar had given up.

"yay! the more people to play the better!" Suddenly blade become the person tip, so poke had to scramble to her feet and quickly run away from him before he could tip her. "You can't catch me!" she shouted, happy to be doing something fun besides thinking about scary stuff

As Blade started to stand up, he found himself being 'it' right off the bat. Blinking from the suddenness of it all, he quickly got up and bolted after Poke.
"Hey! Get back here!," he shouted as he chased after her. When he thought he was close enough, he reached out to try and basically slap her on the back.

Considering blade was much faster then she was. Poke squeaked when she was taped on the back by the boy. "Ohh, ya gonna get it!" she laughed, then quickly turned around trying to tip him back before he could run away

Riyo started panting as they ran farther and farther. She never ran like this, and her legs hated her for it. Neko wasn't the only one to take a beating from the bushes. They scratched at her face, arms, and legs leaving little bleeding scratches behind.
When the two of them reached the clearing, Riyo's little feet gave in and collapsed beneath her, bringing the child to her knees. If that boar had followed them to this point, she gave up. "N-neko.. Are... You okay?" She asked inbetween breaths.

Neko ran a little further into the clearing than Riyo had and finally came to a stop. Bending over, his hands on his knees, he took in deep unsteady breaths as he turned to Riyo hearing her question. "Yeah, I'm alright." The scratches across his face and arms were already healing, though the damage to his clothes was not so easily mended. "What about you?" He looked back shortly to see that the others were in fact still in the clearing before moving back toward Riyo.
He all but slumped at her side as he looked her over. "You're all scratched up." It wasn't so much a statement as it was a sad observation. "I'm...sorry. If I'd have known....I never would have...." Apparently he didn't know completely what to say, his own words lost in his mind. But it was obvious he felt it was his fault. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a small container. There was nothing special about this object other than it looked to be a round tin that easily fit in the hand. When Neko opened it there appeared to be an odd colored salve inside of it. "Here...this will help." Putting a little of the salve on his finger he reached out to put some of it on a scratch on her arm.

Mitsu had been in the midst of hiding behind a tree when she saw the two kitties return from the woods. So scaredy cat was back and from the looks of it he had been running from something....again. Was there nothing he wasn't afraid of? She wondered what it could have been this time. A small mouse perhaps?

Once he had managed to tag the girl, Blade quickly switched gears and darted off, narrowly dodging her tap in the process.
"Bet you can't catch me!" he taunted as he sped away. The eight year old boy was running while looking over his shoulder as he said this, and as a result, he didn't realize he was running straight for the two children that were returning from the woods. He didn't exactly think anyone would be running back into the clearing, so the chances of a collision happening were fairly decent.

"I bet I can!" poke called back and ran after the quickly retreating blade. She had to admit he was a lot faster. But she wasn't going to give up!
However it appeared they might have some more players for tag. As poke ran after the boy she saw the two kitty people from before run into the clearing and practically collapse. It looked like they had been running even more then she did.
"Oh no! are you alright?" poke called out before she stopped, realizing blade hadn't seen their return. "LOOK OUT!" She shouted.

Neko was almost to Riyo, had nearly placed the salve on her cut, when a sudden force sent him flying. The collision took him from his sitting position and laid him out a couple of feet away. Having cracked his head on the ground he rubbed at his aching skull as he pried his eyes open to see what had hit him. "What....happened?"

Tumbling a few feet away after crashing into something, Blade clutched his knee as he had landed on that hardest when he initially fell. A few other places were affected too but it was mainly that knee that hurt the most. Wincing, he was doing his best to not start crying right there. He was too focused on that and his knee to really check what it was he had run into exactly.

Riyo hadn't actually noticed the scratches until Neko told her she was all scratched up. They didn't really hurt, compared to some of the other wounds she'd sustained in the past.
"I-its okay! It's not your fault." She pushed out before she took a deep breath in, eyeing the tin he'd pulled out. What was that?
Looked like she wasn't about to find out. When Neko suddenly disappeared from beside her, Riyo looked as if she was about to panic. It didn't take long before she found him again, though, and quickly made her way to his side. "Neko?" She asked with a frown and sat beside him.
Atticus had seen the collision and quickly made his way over to the kids, medical bag in hand. It looked like Neko had just taken a hit to the head, but Blade was clutching his knee, so there might be something that needed fixing. "Pull up your pant leg for a second and let me see if you broke the skin." Atticus said calmly to Blade, ready to try and take care of whatever happened to be plaguing him.
