-Rushia nodded to the Elder as she stood up and slowly moved them looking at that with a smile she then looked back at the Elder.-
"I thank you and your Bound for what you have done, and I will promise to take much better care. Is there anything I could do for the two of you for thanks?"
-She swayed her tail side to side as she was more than happy to move, but more so finding out what will happen next. Also she wanted to talk to Fam again maybe helping her some how find a bound of her own.-

The squire gave the two a curt nod and stepped aside from the archway.

"Just go straight in until you reach the main room. Lierce will be waiting there."

Nodding, Astalder walked on, still not entirely certain what to make of this whole day in general. Perhaps it was all one very strange dream... That probably wasn't too likely though. And before long, he reached the main room, spotting what apparently was his bond inside the white-haired-man's body, as well as a number of the knights. With a quick glance around, he tried to see where Lierce was as well.

Lierce turned to address Astalder as he entered, but before he could say anything Sain stepped between the two and gave the Dragon-Knight a graceful bow.

"My apologies for all the trouble I have caused," he said, his tone relaxed, as if he were discussing the weather, "I assure you it was strictly necessary. Now, if you permit me, I would like to set things right."

He straightened and met Lierce's gaze. After a moment the dragon looked away and to Astalder. He did not notice that behind him, the mage in the room had suddenly frozen with an expression of sheer terror on her face.

Astalder looked to and fro between Lierce and Sain, remaining silent for the time being. What was there for him to say right now anyway? Behind the Dragon-Knight, he saw a mage looking rather terrified, though at the moment, he couldn't tell what the cause was.

With a draconic frown, he leaned to the side to try and see what was going on back there exactly. Surely it couldn't be something to do with Sain...

"S-sir," the woman mage finally ventured, "He's... the Bound..."

She trailed off, glancing again at Sain and shivering violently. Then she looked away.

"I cannot even see where the currents of magic end and he begins," she managed to say, "I'm not sure what he is."

Sain twisted to glance back over his shoulder and gave Astalder a wink and a grin. Then he turned his attention back to Lierce.

"Sir Lierce," he said, "If I am not mistaken, I am the one you want. Not Blade. He is innocent of any wrong-doing. Allow me to return his soul to its proper form and then you can let these two go."

Lierce didn't show any reaction to Sain's statement. He addressed Astalder instead of Sain.

"It is your Bound," he said to the dragon, "If you are willing to vouch for the truth in this story than I cannot stand between you and your Bound, regardless of what form he may be in. Do you trust this... thing... to return Blade to you?"

There still wasn't anything particularly spectacular that Astalder could see around Sain, but it apparently was very visible to the mage. And whatever it was, it spooked her pretty badly. But quite frankly, he wasn't sure what Sain was either.

"Today has been rather... odd in general. But I believe the man. And quite frankly, it seems this whole thing is in his hands regardless of what is done anyway," he replied.

"Hnn," Lierce muttered, "Against my better judgment, go ahead stranger. Fix what you've done here." The dragon snarled and bared his teeth. "But know that if you try anything that would bring harm to these I will rip you to shreds and leave the crows to pick at your remains."

Sain didn't seem terribly distressed by threat. "I would expect nothing less," he said solemnly, and held out his hand to Blade.

Blade glanced at his dragon companion, feeling somewhat relieved that this seemed to be ending. Though, he still felt a bit wary as he wasn't completely certain how this was going to go. His gaze shifted over towards Sain before cautiously taking his hand.

"Good," Saim murmured, "Now just concentrate on Astalder. That'll make the transition easier."

On the outside, it looked like nothing was happening. There was something that felt like a sharp tug, as if a rope had been tied around Blade's waist and pulled sharply. Then a rush of dizziness and the room spun and when it cleared Blade was now looking at the white-haired man, who let go of his hand and stepped back. The link between Astalder and blade was restored in full. Sain grinned and glanced at Lierce.

"Done," he said, "Now haul me away and lock me up or whatever it is you wish to do."

Nodding slowly, Blade began to focus on Astalder. And before he knew it, he was staring at the white-haired man. He didn't keep his gaze there long as he felt somewhat disoriented from the sudden change in perspective.

Quickly, the dragon rushed over to make sure he wouldn't end up toppling over.

"Thanks..." mumbled the human while getting his bearings once again. He looked over his hands briefly, satisfied to be back to normal.

"Come on. You look pretty tired; we better leave the knights and find a place to relax." suggested the black dragon.

"Yeah.. sounds good," he replied while wondering what would become of Sain. Surely if he could swap bodies like that no bonds around here could hold him for long if he didn't want to stay. That seemed even less likely with the information Astalder had provided him mentally.

Whatever would happen, they didn't linger much longer either and both headed out to get some rest.

Two days later the white-haired man vanished from Gen'yiel with not a single clue left behind as to how. The Dragon-Knights kept this to themselves and let the entire issue quietly die away. The dead Fallen's body was cremated and the ashes scattered to the winds. All the others involved in the matter were able to go their own way.

However, one morning there was something left near where Astalder and Blade had spent the night. Carefully laid out near the dragon was a harness. The leather was soft but durable, everything from the buckles to the straps carefully made. And the stitching in the leather wasn't sinew, but some sort of gold thread that seemed to glow on its own. There was a note tied to it.

'This may come in handy at some point. Thanks for the help. -Sain'
