 Kai Nara|Nara Clan|Chunnin|Iwagakure! Kai made hand signs and jumped a bit and landed, going into the ground with a slight rumble. She cam up behind him. "It's called Earth Military Movements. Your focus chakra to become the earth and swim along with it but remember you have a certain amount of air and can not swim for long periods or stay down without dying." She said.

Yun nods as he watches her handsigns closely. He focuses his chakra into the earth and into his body to strengthen his skin, so he could dig through the earth. He forms the handsigns. He dives into the earth and disapears. A few seconds later, he appears next to Kai.

Kai Nara|Nara Clan|Chunnin|Iwagakure! "Good next one." Kai did another set of hand seals as the rock rose infront of her and formed to look like her. "It's a earth clone."
• Doton: Bunshin no Jutsu (Earth Release: Earth Clone Skill)
Description: This jutsu creates one single clone out of the ground. Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. Two hits will destroy the bunshin.

Yun nods as he resumes his stance. He closes his eyes as he focuses his chakra down into the earth. Dirt rock form next to him as he starts to mold it into the image of himself. He first created the image of himself of his head: body features, his build, his hair color, all the information was transfered through his chakra channels, into his chakra, and into the earth from which he was molding. Every second, the earth took shape. He opens his eyes to reveal next to him a perfect clone of himself.

Kai Nara|Nara Clan|Chunnin|Iwagakure! Kai nodded, yawning a bit from tiredness lately. She picked up some earth after doing the appropiate handseals then rubbed the earth on her chest/breast area. "This ia a armor justu, stone breast plate." She said infusing it with chakra as it hardened to make armor and she didn't put much in it so it would crumble back into earth. "Too little chakra infused will make it crumble and too much will make it hard as cement and hard to come off."
Doton: Sekkai Koutetsuban (Earth Release: Stone Breast Plate)
Description: By taking earth and rubbing it on his/her chest and stomach, the earth is hardened into a stone breast plate that adds extra protection to the user. The breastplate is held intact through the chakra molded into it.

Yun simply nodded as he too picked up the dirt. He rubs it on his chest and shoulder area as he formed his handsign. The earth begins to bubble and become liquid like, covering his entire chest area in a cement like substance. He could feel the heat from the liquid cooling off and hardening. He made sure to send in an equal amount of chakra so that he creates a perfect breastplate. Not too light and not too heavy, he moves his body to make sure it was mobile. He then releases it.
"Alright, perfect."

Yun grinned as he grabs the headband and ties it to his forehead. He was on his way to becoming a master tactician.

 Konaga ShinjiIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin[Conditions: Home training Grounds (-2), Offensive ninja (+1), Learning from Scroll (+1)] Scroll case in hand, Shinji ran up to the training fields ready to get started with all of the scrolls he had borrowed. Making a quick scan of the area, he was still unable to find Kano-sensei to his disappointment, but was glad that now, at the very least, he could progress on his own. Looking around, he also spotted two other ninja, one with bright pink hair another who seemed to be just new to the village, considering he had a clone right next to him and was being handed a headband. "I guess he just passed the test two... a lot of new faces around here."
Moving past them, Shinji found a good spot, about 100 ft away the earth gradually rolling into a flat rock bed, littered with debris and rubble from a nearby boulder which seemed to have been pummeled severely in some training. Seeing this as a good place to set up shop, Shinji sat down on the edge of the rock and the earth and set the scroll case down, opening it up, and removing the two academy scrolls. Unrolling the Stone Bracers scroll first, Shinji looked through the scroll, reading the details of the jutsu, memorizing the hand seals and trying to visualize the jutsu as best as he could before finally deciding to give it a go and see how it went.

Standing up as he took one last glance at the open scroll, Shinji grabbed a hand full of dirt from the ground as he rubbed it over his forearms in preparation for the technique as he closed his eyes, moving through the hand seals a few times slowly before gathering his chakra before performing the seals quickly this time, mixing the internal forces of his chakra to mold the technique... "Doton: Ishi Yoroi no Ude" As he said the words, Shinji felt the earth surrounding his arms begin to heat up and join together to form large stone bracers, but was soon disappointed to see that the bracers crumbled into dirt at a mere flexing of his arm, as the jutsu seemed to have failed.

Looking confused, Shinji bent down to read through the scroll again, trying to make note of something he might have missed. "Damn... this was easier when Kano-sensei was around." Reading through the scroll once more, Shinji caught a line which instructed the user that the chakra flow must be high enough to harden the earth, but still allow for movement, or the bracers would crumble. It was also noted that a constant flow was needed as well to add a layer of chakra between the bracers and the arm to soften the impact of the blows the bracers would defend against.
Assuming that this was his error, since that is what he saw happen, Shinji tried again, reaching down to spread the dirt across his forearms once more. Gathering his chakra to him once more, Shinji ran through the hand seals, concentrating on molding the technique with more power and keeping the chakra flow consistently strong as he felt the technique begin to take shape... "Doton: Ishi Yoroi no Ude!". As the words were spoken, the earth which had been rubbed on his arm instantly began to heat up, joining together with the other bits of dirt as it flowed together and hardened, forming a perfectly flexible, yet strong pair of stone bracers on his forearms. "Haha... sweet, I can't wait to try these out against a taijutsu fighter." dismissing the technique, Shinji slammed the bracers on a nearby rock, crushing the earth which fell in fragments of dried earth and clay at his feet. Smiling at his success, Shinji moved on to the next technique, ready for whatever challenge it would provide.

He didn't have time for some passive Jounin to talk to him about fighting styles and such. Too much time had been spent, and he wanted to become a Genin now.

Unrolling the Tsuchi Tou Tou scroll, Shinji poured over the information within it as he had with the previous jutsu, memorizing the hand seals while reading the details in how to mold the chakra. After he had read everything thoroughly, he got up, ready to perform the jutsu, knowing that it would probably take him a few tries to learn it considering he didn't have Kano-sensei around to show it to him first hand.

Standing up straight, Shinji took a deep breath and closed his eyes as always, running through the hand seals slowly at first, but then working up to a higher speed. when he was finally ready, he began to gather his chakra, focusing on controlling the raging amount within his body into a sort of controlled chaos as he performed the hand seals which began to mold the chakra. "Doton: Tsuchi Tou Tou"... Shinji spoke the words and then slammed his hands to the ground, forming the technique, then injecting the chakra into the ground as the earth in front of him began to slide back. The movement was slow and it stopped after moving only a few feet, but it clearly dragged all of the pebbles and debris on top of it away, giving Shinji confidence that what he was doing was correct.

Satisfied with how it appeared to go, Shinji stood back up and began to form the seals once more, this time not holding himself back as he did before. Pushing more chakra into the jutsu easily, Shinji felt the technique mold within him once more as he slammed his hands into the earth once again. "Doton: Tsuchi Tou Tou!"... the ground instantly began to move again, but this time faster and for longer. As Shinji kept his hands to the ground, the earth moved away from him in a small path, about 5 feet wide and about 15 feet back and continued to do so dragging everything on top of the earth into a pile 15 feet away where the earth's movement stopped. "Hmmph, that's a handy little trick. It ought to be useful for distraction or simply getting some one to back off."

Kutsue434 The clone of Kano looked at Akio with neither approval nor disapproval before saying calmly, "now we will create a different kind of bunshin known as the Koujin Bunshin. Unlike the doton bunshin, this clone cannot attack, it serves as more of a distraction. When it is struck it will burst into a cloud of dust that will get into the mouth and eyes of whoever struck it, a very useful technique for keeping your opponent off-guard." Kano's clone then moved slowly through the hand-seals before saying calmly, "Koujin Bunshin no Jutsu." The earth clone dissipated into a small mound of dirt while a second clone formed from the dust and sand that had been kicked up during the training. Looking at Akio the new clone said calmly, "Now create a dust clone of your own, and then have your earth clone attack it so that you can see the results first hand." "So I'm making a Clone out of Dust this time, sounds easy." Akio said as he thought over the easiest way to do it. He went through the hand seals and let his chakra spread over the surface of the ground. Akio then quickly dragged dust, dirt and various other particles together into a clump. Which he then quickly had it form itself into a human shape that Akio then tuned into a clone of himself. He looked at himself and was easily amused, and with a quick snap of the fingers, the clone exploded into a cloud of dust. "That wasn't to hard." Akio grinned and felt tired, he wasn't entirely used to using his chakra for ninjutsu and decided to go take a nap. So Akio ditched the area and found a large boulder lean against and sleep. (This was in the past? so when he wakes up it'll be present time?)
