A sheepish smile crawled onto Jerome's lips. He figured if they left him here to die, he might as well die happy. Nothing like a big "screw you" than falling in love. He thought madly.
"Believe me..for what they did to me...I think they deserve it" he grinned

Before Koyuki knew it, she'd literally flung herself onto Jerome, toppling them both sideways into the snow. A part of her couldn't really fathom what had happened, and the other half never wanted to wake up if it was a dream. Laughing merrily as she kept holding onto him, her tail swaying in the snow, she did sit up slightly to look down to the Spartan.
Koyuki couldn't help the large smile that appeared on her face, nodding her head to agree before she thought of something. "Well...its not all bad. If they hadn't stranded you...well...I wouldn't have found you....or technically you found me..." she winked, the smile never leaving her lips.

Jerome was surprised that he could be knocked over so easily, especially by someone who was much smaller than himself. He couldn't help but laugh a little himself. Something he didn't do often.
"I suppose you are right. What a beautiful accident!" He said with his grin growing ever larger

"Indeed...." Koyuki smiled, but blinked as she found herself staring and looked away shyly. Sitting up fully she brushed the snow off her pelt and let out a content sigh...
That is, untill she once again realized another fun fact about this development. "We're both jobless!" Koyuki laughed, looking back to her companion with a grin. "What do we do now? I've never really expected to be doing anything but being a Geisha..." Nor had she ever even read up about relationships and such, out of sight out of mind right?

After Jerome thought about it, he felt a tingle of fear. He didn't know how to operate in the real world. All he knew was the military life. Wake up at the crack of dawn, train your a** off, eat, train your a** off some more, eat again, and then back to bed. Sure he knew how to cook, but it was only to survive. It struck him rather hard seeing as had no idea.
"I.......don't know..." He was finally able to utter under narrowed pupils. He would never admit it, but it was the one time he had ever been afraid in his life

"Well..." Koyuki looked up to the sky, pondering on a few things momentarily. "...is there anything you've ever wanted to do, or have?" She inquired, there was still so much to Jerome that remained a mystery to her...and probably him at the same time.
"Like...for as long as I knew about it, i've wanted to go to the ocean. I have no clue how to get there...but I want to someday swim in the waves." The vixen grinned, knowing it was a rather simple desire...but it was something none the less. Turning in her seated position she faced him, studying him in a way as if trying to remember every detail of him.
"Surely with a life devoted to one thing and one thing only there is tones of things you want to do..."

Jerome paused to reflect. He really did know nothing. His desires were always "win the fight" and that's all he could ever think of. He had seen the ocean. He had seen a desert. He had seen anything there really is to see and do what he's always wanted to do. He frowned as he felt very lost in trying to think of what he wanted to do.
"I guess...I have nothing that I dream to see or do. That's what I get for being around some 60 years Koyuki. I see things and do things." he said blatantly. He didn't like the fact that he really had no answer, but there wasn't much he could say to pad it

With wide eyes as the poor vixen sputtered, she immediately had to give him another look over. He had to be lying to her...but then again he said he wasn't one for dishonesty. "You're what? Really???" Honestly he didn't look that old in the slightest, was it some kind of effect of the Cryo or something the military had done? Funny enough, as much of a shock it was...she felt no differently about him, and that made her smile more so to herself. "I know you're not lying...but its just hard to believe looking at you, Jerome."
As she thought about his words in her mind, it was a bit disheartening that she really had no clue what would really help transition him to this life he'd chosen. "I see....well now I feel a bit silly for what I said..." Especially to the fox who'd seen the world in its entirety, galaxies, planets and the cosmos. He must have really seen everything...but there was one thing she knew he hadn't experienced. "Well...it looks like I will just have to make our time together as special as can be then...I can't really think of anything else!" The vixen blushed gently with a smile.

Jerome watched as her face melted into shock. He knew it was a big deal, but he didn't think it would surprise her so. "Shocked? Well it's because of the biological enhancements and cryo freeze. I could easily live to see 200 if I don't die in battle." he said with a small grin on his face
He pondered for a moment, thinking about her seeing the ocean. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before, but for her, he would travel straight into the Holy City of the Covenant just to show her a Prophet. Then he figured it out. He did have one desire. "I guess, I do have something" he paused knowing she would either find him crazy or would melt all over him. "My one desire, is to see you happy."

"Two hundred!? Thats....wow..." When words began to fail her, Koyuki looked off into the distance momentarily. At least she'd never have to worry about losing him before his 'natural' time, as morbid of a thought as it was, she'd be dying first she knew for certian. Turning her head she looked at the pod....it was hard to think that this thing was responsible for keeping him alive and in that near invincible status to someone like her.
She wasn't quite prepared for what he was going to say, as she turned her head around with a pleased look on her face. He did have something..? Great! She'd have to make sure it was something he'd see....
....
He what! A blush crossed her cheeks like wildfire, as she was speechless; wanting to melt but tried so hard to keep it together. She'd never heard anything so sweet, and about her before and easily she could hear tha pounding of her own heart. "J...J-Jerome!!" She cried out with an incredibly happy smile crawling onto her lips as she tried to use her paw to push him but seeing as he was still laying down she wouldn't have the luck of topping him over thanks to a chance unbalance. He was simply too bulky for her to even thing about moving. "Do you want me to spontaniously combust or something!" Koyuki laughed, tilting her head as she watched him.

Jerome made a pouty face out of playfullness. "That won't make you happy." he said in faked sad voice. Immediatly after his pout returned to a grin.
"Actually, I want to get out of this armor right now. Will you give me a minute?" he said as he walked over to the pod. He was tired of not being able to feel anything other than the pressure of her body.
He stepped in, shut the door, and quickly asked Elysia to shut down and remove the armor, which she did reluctantly.
A few moments later, Jerome stepped out in his rather form fitting undersuit. Apart from his armor being gone, there was really no huge difference

Oh that fox! She ought to throw another snowball in his face for that one. "No....most girls don't like the idea of bursting into flames sadly..." She teased with a wink, and shook her head while laughing.
"Okay...." Confused for a moment, Koyuki nodded her head slowly and watched him dissapear into the pod. Taking this time to stand up and brush the snow from her pelt. She'd actually never even thought about him without the armor, since it seemed so vital to him.
Yet when he came back out she blinked in a bit of disbelief, seeing that it was his bulk that gave him the build he had and not the armor. Walking over she placed her paw on his chest to feel the suit, wondering if even that had any special properties or something.
"Why did you not want the armor on...I thought it was important you always have it on since untill now you've never taken it off..."

The spartan stretched, for the first time really feeling the wind move over his body. It was fairly comfortable.
"My armor isn't essential to me..it's just key to have in possible hostile situations. This is far more comfortable and I can actually feel things through it" he beamed. Even though the suit was form fitting, it still didn't show nearly any of how little the armor added to his bulk. He was a big boy, and he enjoyed it

"So my chances of pushing you over would be slim to none, most likely?" Koyuki couldn't help it nor the giggle that came from her lips, looking up at him since he was indeed, taller and now apparently MUCH bugger than she. Not that she didn't mind; large bulky Geisha's were not a desireable trait.
"So you feel comfortable here now?" The warm smile returned, her own tail swaying behind her. It was nice to hear that this place could be home for the stranded spartan, and that he seemed to enjoy that fact. "I'm glad to hear....as strange as it is..." Her body turned to look out on the view, the shop and woods and the other foxes playing outside in the new snow. "I'm starting to feel it's home."

Jerome looked over the hill with glassy eyes. The sun was just about free from the horizon line and already the foxes were out playing. Including the new young foxes who played with one another. "This will never be home. It will merely be a place that shelters us" he said with a sort of random sterness. He looked back over at Koyuki. "However...even if it isn't home...I'm willing to call it such if it pleases you"
Jerome looked back down at the playing foxes. The young ones in particular brought back something he thought he'd never remember. A day where he was playing games with other younglings. A day where he himself was still little
