Sora nodded eagerly as she climbed down. However, rather than taking the path that Haruka and Kensei climbed down, the girl opted for another, less obvious path. It was a bit of a shortcut in a way. It wasn't really a shortcut to the tea fields exactly; at least, not in the sense that it would take her their faster than the path Haruka and Kensei were travelling. However, it was a shortcut to a certain house in the fields that the girl was very familiar with and was looking forward to visiting very much. Sora thought happily as she eagerly ran down the path, The girl glanced quickly around her. There seemed to be no one watching her. Besides, few people knew about this path, much less traveled it, and there was no reason for anyone to be watching her. Guiltily, the girl dug her heels in and then activated a speed that she rarely showed. She was a straight blur for a couple seconds... before turning into a rolling blur as she tripped, fell, and continued down.

"Well, here goes nothing." Jishaku said to himself un-enthusiastically. Opening the tea canister, he looked inside to find water which glinted in the sun. "Ah, now that's what I'm talking about! Looks like I caught the right shipment. Good thing too, I've been waiting around here forever." Jishaku had been lying in wait within the caverns of this mountain pass, just waiting for a shipment of tea leaves from Konoha to come in. Quite often, they were sent into the village to check for quantity and overall load weight before being distributed amongst specialty tea stores, and even before Bob the tea man came in and took his cut to grow the limited Konoha seeds that were also sent in. It was simple for Jishaku to steal the tea, too simple in his mind. All he did was set up a few sand road bumps along the way using the zen sand technique to color them like rock, causing the wagons to sway until they tilted and fell over at last. The man who sent him the canister said it would have a special feel to it for Jishaku, and indeed it did.

"Man, that guy was pretty smart to line the inside of this thing with iron powder. When it fell off the wagon, this baby practically screamed at me before I pulled it off the trail." It was true, Jishaku had simply willed the canister to roll down the rocky hill to its left down to where he was. Smiling as he tilted his head back to drink it he muttered to himself, "This is just too easy." Thirstily, he gulped the elixir down however he made sure not to spill a drop. It was precious of course, just over two-hundred years old in fact. It wasn't like Takigakure would miss it though, since their precious little tree had already created a second batch. This was simply taking advantage of a situation and in quick succession.

With a satisfied thirst Jishaku looked into the now empty canister at his reflection. "Huh, I don't feel any different. Hero water my a**!" Throwing the canister onto the ground, it recoiled off of the rock and hit the ground once more before rolling to a halt. Sinking to the ground and leaning back on a boulder with his right leg up and his arm resting on it, Jishaku sighed as he looked on. "What a freaking gyp. I bet that guy was lying the whole time, and now I'm out five-thousand gold pieces, AND I had to kill a lot of people to get this deal." Jishaku went on like this for about an hour, intermittently complaining about what he thought was a crappy situation. Until however, his whole body began to feel funny; warm even. As dusk fell, he could literally make out the chakra paths in his body, and they were glowing through his skin. His abdomen held a large sphere of an electric purple glow, which was where he knew most chakra was stored in the body. "Woah," he said as he stood up and looked himself over. He began to feel a rush of energy, as if he was being filled up from the inside with something. His chakra began to fluctuate uncontrollably, electric purple lightning-like strands of it shooting off from his body every few seconds. After a half-hour of a light show, his chakra began to regulate itself as if getting used to the sudden influx of more chakra that happened initially, the glow slowly fading away.

Clenching his fists Jishaku breathed in heavily, as if taking it all in. He could feel it, his chakra had increased drastically and it felt great. As the sun began to set he muttered to himself, "Well, it's time to pay my old village a visit."

Nagisa moved quickly, pushing herself harder the closer she got to the village. She had let down her Kikaichuu Radar so they could repopulate, so she would have to rely on her own senses to avoid danger. The Path seemed to pass by far too quickly for her tastes and it's heavy use by traders forced many of the dangers to be adressed. She hated letting the village grow as much as it was, but it was the best tactical move she could make. The dangers of a denser population were overtaken by the benefits of a powerful industry, and strengthened economy. A more minor benefit was that large populations made it easier for the shinobi world within to hide far better should the need arise.

Sora walked lively but carefully at the back of the group. She took notice of the damaged church before Kensei even pointed it out. The girl pouted at the disheartening sight. Her failure to respond to Kensei's question about being alright was probably the first sign that Sora wasn't as happy as she usually was. She had passed out during the mission, a mistake that was probably the main cause of both Haruka's disappearance and the overall failure of detaining the monster. It hadn't even been the first time she'd lost a precious friend, either, and while she probably didn't have any connection to the first disappearance, Sora couldn't help but feel there was something she could have done to prevent it. Not even the happy-go-lucky Sora could make anything good for herself out of that. "Mm...," she hesitated before realizing that she was hesitating and even pouting. Catching herself, Sora vigorously shook her head and lightly slapped her cheeks a few times with both hands. She remembered how sad Kensei was to see her sad in the village.

Sora reminded herself, Putting on her trademark smile, Sora returned to normal and nodded, "Mhm, I'll make sure to remind you. This time, I'll make sure to not pass out. I'm a shinobi, not a damsel in distress, eheh." As a show of confidence, Sora pounded one of her small fists into the open palm of the other hand.

Sora realized as a thoughtful expression replaced her smile,

Laxus looked up at Kensei as he followed closely behind, ahead of Sora who felt like taking up the rear. " Yeah, I'm fine, just a bit preoccupied. " Laxus said smiling, again slightly awkwardly. " Say Guy, what is your specialty? " Laxus asked, he didn't know much about Guy, but that needed to change.

Laxus noticed as Sora became glum if only for an instant. Something about the ruined church they had passed. Laxus remembered it had been in one piece when he had joined the village, something recent must have happened. What ever it was, it involved these two and apparently a third Laxus has yet to meet. What ever it was she was bothered by it. The third was obviously called Haruka, and somehow needed to be found. ' Interesting, so Sora can be brought down. Doesn't seem like something enjoyable for her mood to be damaged though. ' Laxus thought to himself.

" So what happened there, and who is Haruka? " Laxus asked, looking from Kensei to Sora. He leaned against the rock and looked down, going over several things in his head. ' I wonder if Guy uses birds. If he does, then how? I don't know of anything like that, but that crest on his back seems so familiar. Maybe I should ask him later. ' He thought to himself, then thinking about several situations in the near future.

Kensei pulled Sora up on the boulder so she wouldn't dangle on the boulder anymore. After listening to her question he tried to think of a simple way to answer it. "The air is fuzzy....because it is...hot as balls." He completely forgot to put Sora's age into consideration when he answered and just assumed she knew all of these things. Kensei jumped off of the boulder and started to walk a bit more.
He then listened to Laxus's questions about Haruka. "Well honestly I'm not sure. I kind of blacked out before she disappeared." Kensei continued to listened to Laxus questions about specialty. "I guess you can say I'm a taijutsu specialist." Kensei said as he stepped on some sand and looked out into the desert. "Alright we're halfway there. We should be careful and watch our steps." Kensei said as he continued to walk on the sand. He tried to think of some birds that would help them travel the desert faster, but he wanted to save his chakra just in case things got bad.
