We're time skipping! scream So, yeah, take all unfinished conversations/events to the ATE thread, please. mrgreen Soryuju Ryutetsin We've been trying to get to the next day for months now. Later tonight (Tuesday, July 20th), I will be making a post starting the next day, and GMing everyone into bed or asleep or... whatever. If you prefer to do more things before going to sleep, like finishing a conversation, take it to the ATE thread. That's what the thread is for- describing events that go on between story events, so to speak.

The Next Worlds, and What's Happened Since Angel Grove / Hawaii:The island has been in chaos for the past month. With the forced arrival of the Galactic Council (from Lilo and Stitch) on the Hawaii side, the residents have had to get used to the idea of aliens, both good and bad, as some of Stitch's 'cousins' have been wreaking havoc. On the Angel Grove side, Rita Repulsa's moon palace has been forced into the side of the mountain volcano; however, Ivan Ooze has taken over in her place, and has for the past month caused absolute chaos in the streets. This has only been compounded by the arrival of 'space' pirates in search of the hidden bounty of 'Treasure Planet'. Aided by some mysterious additional party, they've been given airships capable of taking on the Power Zords of the Power Rangers and the space fleet of the Galactic Council. The pirates have joined forces with Ivan Ooze, who is also capable of controlling Heartless. Together, these groups have total chaos on both sides. Within the past few days (since the arrival of the Earthlings), all of the adults of Angel Grove have mysteriously vanished, leaving the children, young and older, to protect themselves from both Heartless, Ooze's men, and the Pirate raids. The Power Rangers have been on high alert, appearing often and almost constantly in battle. The Galactic Council is doing their best to aid the citizens of Hawaii from the pirate raids, as well as Stitch's 'cousins'. Port Royal / Atlantica:The events of Dead Man's Chest have already played out, as well as the beginning of At World's End. In the past few weeks, Port Royal has been taken over by the East Indian Trading Company. The island town is practically a prison now, and no one is around to do anything about it. Elizabeth Swann and William Turner have visited Tia Dalma, and with the help of Barbosa, have sought out the Pirate Lord of the South China Sea, Sao Feng, for a map to Davy Jones' locker. However, when they reached the locker, they only find the Pearl. After returning to the real world, Sao Feng betrayed the group in order to obtain the Pearl and Elizabeth, who he believed was Calypso in human form. However, he was mortally wounded in the mutiny, and named Elizabeth as his successor. The group has since sailed back to Tia Dalma, hoping for some form of guidance in order to find Jack, the last Pirate Lord. Tortuga is still a 'safe-haven' for pirates and freedom, unlike Port Royal. Atlantica also hasn't changed much in the past month, though King Triton has become far more stressed with trying to protect his kingdom and his children; he is still somewhat worried about Ariel, but he will never admit it.

Suggestion concerning resistances. Everyone has an elemental resistance (well, except most of the Non-Elemental characters). However, what's only addressed is the character's resistance to their own element. Wouldn't Wind Users have a heightened resistance to Earth? Would Water have a heightened resistance to Fire, but a lower resistance to Thunder? Wouldn't Noelle (picked particularly for the Agromancy) have a weakness to fire? Wouldn't anyone Darkness-attuned have a weakness to Light, and vice versa to those particularly attuned to Light? I propose that in addition to the abilities, Limits, and Drive Forms, there be a section for elemental resistances. And not just what you're weak or resistant to, but what affects you at a normal level as well. It could look something like this: Example resistances for a Water-type Resistances:Non-Elemental - Indifferent Space - Indifferent Wind - Indifferent Ice - Weakness Earth - Indifferent Illusion - Indifferent Lunar - Indifferent Fire - Immune Water - Halved Time - Indifferent Plant - Indifferent Thunder - Weakness Light - Indifferent Darkness - Indifferent First, yes, I used the elements from Organization 13 for the example. 13 elements readily on hand, and I just added darkness. A water type would have strengths/weaknesses to several types for several reasons: Ice can readily freeze water, whereas water cannot as readily melt the ice. Fire can't touch water. Period. Fighting water with water. Water is a great conductor. As for other elements, while Water wouldn't be particularly weak to them, they are resistant to water. For instance, Plant would feed off of the water, and Lunar could be resistant as well due to the tide being controlled by the moon.

Cory@: Elemental Affinity chart approved. We're just working on the logistics, but you can essentially act as though it's in place now. Weaknesses included! @QD: A basic description of the train can be found here@Mitsudo: Just to be certain, you're aware we haven't even neared Tortuga yet, correct? We just lifted off from Port Royal, it'll be about a minute or two before we're even close. Also, the train sort of protect from any outside influence, so they probably wouldn't feel that until they stepped off.

I know Alan is talking an unrealistic amount during this fight, especially in such tight timeframes, but . . . um . . . look over there!
It's basically meaningless anyway. XD

The teleporter in the Queen's Quest presumably takes us in direct sight of the Black Waltz correct?
Just wondering so I don't have to do a post for going through the teleporter and one for attacking the darn thing.
