Atra && Melissa Some movement caught the edge of Atra's eye and the Flareon reacted instantly, turning around just in time to catch the sight of something...someone skidding into the Main hall and then immediately down a side hall. He didn't get a good look at what species it was as it was dragging a large sack behind it. It wasn't hard to put two and two together. "Oh no you don't!" Atra growled, and tore down the hallway after the figure. Melissa caught on a second later, and was smart enough to not have to ask Atra what had gotten into him. --- The figure Atra was chasing had suddenly stopped as he neared the entrance to the Training Field. Another team seemed to have blocked the thieves' path. Unlike Victor, Atra didn't pause to make a threat. Atra simply leaped on top of the furret from behind, kicking the large black bag out of the way so that he could pin the normal type down to the ground. The Furret was larger than the Flareon, but such things didn't matter as much when you knew magic. Water condensed from the air and began freezing over the edges of the furret's limbs, holding him down in place with what quickly became inch-thick ice. Atra's icicle plate was glowing. He really wasn't in a good mood it seems. "You so much as twitch, and we'll see if I can freeze and shatter a limb or two." Atra growled at the furret. Even without putting too much power in, the furret should probably already be loosing feeling in his extremeties. Nothing to cause frostbite or the like...as long as he didn't stay pinned like this for much longer. Atra looked up at Team Dropkick. "Check the bag. See what he's stolen, and if you see the stolen pendant don't touch the damn thing."It was around now that an out-of-breath Melissa finally came into the room, gasping for breath. Bulbasaur with their short stubby legs don't run as fast as Flareons apparently.

The thief simply stared at the group as he tried to appraise possible escape routes, but with a pained grunt he quickly found himself floored with his eyes at ground level. He'd been trapped, he could tell that much. Ice was forming around his paws--this is why he didn't want to steal from the guild! They weren't even trained, they just had too man abilities. There was a brief pause of silence from the Furret as his mind raced through different options. It was almost invisible, yet very much real. "Just try it, b***h." It, obviously, didn't last very long. "Too afraid to draw a little blood? Would mommy get mad?" Although the Furret was both anxious and pinned, he wasn't witless. He and his companions all shared the same technique and the same specialty, though any Furret could use it given the knowledge and training. It was an especially violent, nasty technique that highlighted their true nature as thieves quite well. The moment Atra struck out with any kind of attack, the power would vanish from his body only to be instantly turned against him... Supplemented, of course, by the Furret's own. He didn't wager it would kill the Flareon (as much as he wouldn't have minded) but the rebounded ice attack would likely be enough to knock him off guard long enough to make an escape. The ice sealing his limbs was thick enough, but his limbs weren't too long... he could slip out if he got the chance. Then all he had to do was grab the bag and bolt. They could follow, but they probably couldn't catch up.

Atra && Melissa "Haha. Keep it up smart guy." Atra replied to the taunts in an unamused voice, letting his claws sink down so that they were uncomfortably close to piercing skin. He was caught off guard by the icy air that flew back at him though, closing his eyes reflexively to protect them. His fur flared instinctively, his body temperature shooting up to battle temperature, evaporating the ice and creating a small explosion of steam around him and the furret. He could feel the damned thing trying to slip away under him, and he digged his claws into flesh even as he was loosing his balance. He was now at I MELT STEEL temperature so I can't imagine even the little contact the normal type had with the Flareon was very pleasant. "ARC'DAMNIT!" Me First. Atra hated these gimmicky moves. He could feel slick fur and loose skin slip between his paws as he caught himself back on solid ground. He had the experience to land solidly on all four paws at least. Atra pushed the cloud of steam away with a strong burst of Kinesis, forming a small sphere of clear air centred around himself. He could now see the Furret break free of the ice and run for the bag. "Catch!"Something small and blue broke the edges of the clear globe and sailed into Atra's vision, trailing wisps of steam. Something small, blue, and round. Melissa you're a genius. Atra thought as he caught the Petrify Orb with Kinesis and chucked it at the Furret. You can't Me First an item after all.

~Ein ~Finian
"If it would be of any pertinence, a couple stages below us there has been some commotion going on for quite a bit of time now. May have something to do with your hunt. Who knows~." Ein ranted off, apparently having been paying attention to his surroundings with far more attention than even the keen hearing of the canine before him was. In response, Finian cocked his head and trotted over to the side of the roof which the two were still on, peering over past slanted shingling and down into the guild's training grounds below. From what he could see there was definately some sort of confrontation going on that included some of his fellow guildmembers along with some other unidentified Pokemon. This was undoubtedly worth checking out. With a plan of action in mind the Absol trotted towards the nearby stairs which would lead them down the height of the guild. "What are you doing?" Ein asked with a perplexed look on his face. "Going down to the guild's training fields. Good chance the robbers are already being taken care of but I want to give any aid that I can." Finian stopped in his place and gave an irritated response, he wished not to waste any more time on the annoying semi-legendary. "Yes, I realize as much but why are you going to waste your time going that way? Who knows, but the time you get your lazy a** down there they could escape. Just jump." The suggestion was presented in a tone that didn't hold much concern for the Absol's well being. "What? No. What?" Finian gave him a glance that expressed his utmost confusion along with the fact that he sincerely thought the Celebi insane. "I said jump." Ein's tone became more stern as he buzzed his way over to the canine and forcefully latched himself onto his head-scythe, applying an uncomfortable amount of pressure while seated side saddle on the furred Pokemon in attempts to steer him towards the edge of the roof. Finian, without word, still seemed blatantly against the plan at hand as he bucked and whined in distress against Ein's hold on him. "Trust me dammit." Without any more deliberation on the matter, the sudden force of a Psychic attack courtesy of the sprite, threw the duo from the side of the roof hurdling down towards the training grounds below. "You're insane!" The insult was given as Finian thought he would like to get out his inner monologue before his untimely death. However, just before they hit the ground, a second Psychic attacked was utilized to create a pocket of energy used to break the momentum of their fall entirely. Granted if Finian was more willing and trusting to begin with, their entry would have been a little more graceful than the tumble into the dirt they had just experienced now. All in all neither were hurt and they were at their destination a lot quicker than originally expected.

As much as the Furret might try, there wasn't really any way to get out of the path of the orb--he was screwed. In an instant, the thief was petrified, leaving him perfectly still against the ground below him and his ill-gotten goods remained in the bag on the ground mere moments from him. It seemed that Finian's rather... majestic entrance had been unnecessary. If the teams were to open the bag then and there they would unfortunately only find one possession belonging to any of them. Atra's plate rested inside the bag among a mass of other valuables both rare and common. The rest would have to find their possessions on one of the other thieves.
((*baps* You're not supposed to use orbs in chapters, but I'll let it slide since they're normal pokemon.))

The Steam dissipated on its own, and Atra was now aware of two newcomers. One of which was an Absol and the other was a Celebi. After so long in the guild, it didn't take much effort to identify Legendaries and hell, it didn't even come as a surprise to see them anymore. He had a Legendary in his own team after all, and there was that Suicune he met at the Emerald Pools, not to mention the dozens others in the guilds or the ones they've fought. Legendaries are a common sight now really. So Atra promptly ignored them and trotted towards the bag, hopped over the furret, and jerked the bag open. He immediately found his Earth Plate, having sensed its presence since before the battle. He turned it into a small charm so that he could easily and quickly attach it to the same chain the Icicle plate was on, and he did so absently as he continued digging through the bag. "The Pendant's not in here." Atra turned announced to the other assembled guild members. "Keep searching around the castle. Solaris implied that there was more than one of these thieves. We have to get that Pendant back." Or else we risk another massacre. Atra turned to Melissa. "Mel, go get Hope-"Crack!"Did you call for me?" The Jirachi asked, hovering right above Atra's head. The Flareon always forgot that Hope was very in tune with the needs and requests of people around her, especially those close to her. "Hope, take this furret to a cell. If the others get away we may need to question him." He told the Jirachi. Hope hesitated for a moment, her eyes flicking between Atra and the furret before nodding. "I'm sorry." She whispered as she placed her hands on the furret and disappeared in a teleport. Hope hated acting against anyone's wishes, and the furret most definitely probably did not want to be locked up. "Come on Melissa, let's hunt the rest down." Atra told her cocaptain, leaving the bag of goods behind. They can pick it up after all this fiasco is over. All Atra had been concerned about was the Plate and the Pendant. The rest of the valuables didn't matter.

.::Will::.Boom. A practice dummy exploded into flames, a lance of lightning burning straight through its chest. Boom. Boom. Two more dummies burned into ashes. The wielder of the lightning bolts grinned savagely, his eyes glowing a luminescent green. His fur sparked brilliantly as he loosed another lightning bolt. Boom. The next dummy was blown to splinters. Will grinned, enjoying his new eyes. His vision zoomed in and out at his command, throwing even the smallest details of the distant dummies into sharp relief. Gotta love being a Luxray, he thought smugly, zooming in on another dummy. Boom. Heh.

  Aiden - William
"Wait... So Pokemon ACTUALLY do that...?"
"Dude, how could you have lived on this planet for as long as you have and not know anything about the church?"
"Wh-... B-... It doesn't make any seeense!"
"You are a walking ball of iron. Plenty of things on this planet don't make sense. I just learn to ignore it and do my own thing~"
The conversation between the two teammates known as William and Aiden subsided as they both trotted into the training field. William had been stressing out due to the fact that he had just discovered religion was a real thing, and it didn't scientifically make any sense to him. Aiden didn't care about religion and probably never would. He was too busy enjoying his life to care about who created it. "Alright, calm down you toolbox," The Umbreon said with a chuckle as he took note of the fact that they were not alone here. "We got company. Fiiiine lookin' company, too~" And there goes Aiden Stryker, hitting on anything regardless of gender or sexuality.
William whined a little as he stood behind his Umbreon counterpart. "Aiden! If he hears you, he'll probably beat you up or something! We came to train on dummies, not get beat up because you're always horny!" Poor William looked a little distressed about the entire situation. The Luxray hadn't even said anything in reply yet, but William was almost positive he was going to get electrocuted today. "I-I'm sorry. Mister Luxray sir! I'm not with him!" The Aron shouted from behind Aiden.
"Uh, yes you are. You asked me to come help you train..." Aiden replied nonchalantly.
'Oh my god, you moron, shut uuuup!'

.::Will::.Will was lining up another lance of lightning when he realized he had company. Very brash company, if the nervous one's commentary was anything to go by. Will shook his head slightly, feeling slightly vulnerable, regardless of who was actually "checking him out." "To the one having a heart attack," said Will, without turning around, "I have no intention of harming you. Unless you want to spar, but that's a different story. And to the one whose gaze is apparently cemented on my a**, I am, in fact, taken." A surge of electricity launched from him, blowing another dummy to smithereens. His last comment wasn't strictly true- he and Celeste had never actually done anything; that might've been awkward with Faust always prowling about. But he was hers, all the same. Will sighed, and turned around, looking at his present company. A little scrawny, but maybe they're fast. That would make for a good fight.
"So... what, then? Ya wanna box? I'm game if you are- these dummies aren't very fast, and they're terrible conversationalists," he said with a grin.

  Aiden - William
Aiden's grin only grew when the Luxray before him expressed that he was already taken. Normally a Pokemon would be more offended, yelling "I'M NOT GAY" or something of the sort. Veeery intriguing~ "Well, taken or not, you're a good lookin' fella," The Umbreon chuckled, his ears gently flicking. "If kitty wants to go a couple rounds, I suppose I'm down. It's been a while since I've had a good friendly match, these days I've usually just been fighting for my life against Gods and such."
William, being nothing but a walking clump of steel, really didn't want to get into a fight with an Electric type Pokemon, be it a friendly bout or not. Maybe some day, when the little Aron had evolved fully, he'd amaze people with his strength. For now, William could only follow what he knew, logic. Logic told him not to get into this fight. "I'll, uh... I'll referee!" The Aron said, nodding quickly and taking a few steps back.
Aiden chuckled as he sat down on his haunches in a nonchalant manner, his green eyes focused on Will the Luxray. "So let's begin, then?" He stated as he sat there, not looking very menacing on his own. What was happening below the Umbreon could be very unnerving to some Pokemon, though. Aiden's shadow was contorting and twisting under his body like a lively amoeba, lashing out a few yards occasionally like lightning without a target.

.::Will::.Will made a slight disparaging noise at Aiden's "compliment." It was somewhat amusing that the Umbreon held such an interest in him, notwithstanding the apparent incompatability of their... orientations. Regardless, he was Celeste's, even if she was so far away. Will walked slightly toward the duo, nodding at the Aron. "You do that, friend- though I would suggest moving back a few paces. I'm a little on edge, and I may be holding back a little less than usual." He fixed his gaze on Aiden, watching as his shadow started to warp and shift. Will raised an eyebrow appreciatively. "I have a trick that's kinda like that," he said, turning on a Dark Pulse. It wasn't as fluid or organic as the Umbreon's seemed to be, but it was similar in some aspects. At least they were both Dark attacks. Will smiled. "But something like this wouldn't work too well on you, would they?" he said, grinning, a pale blue light building in his throat. He crouched down, bracing himself. "And by the way- I'm Will. Nice to meet you." He spared not a second after saying this before a roar of blue light erupted from his maw, the Dragon Pulse screaming toward Aiden with frightening speed.

  Aiden - William
The small Aron blinked as the two larger Pokemon before him took their fighting stances. Both Pokemon looked rather menacing, he was happy he wasn't directly involved in this fight. Still, William would have to nut up, he still had to overlook this battle and make sure nothing went awry. "U-Uhm... Okay! Uh, don't play dirty, no nut-shots, try not to kill each other..." The Aron nervously stated before taking a few steps back. It was then that the Luxray introduced himself. "O-Oh! What a coincidence! My name is William t-.. OHGOD!"
William had been caught completely off guard by the Luxray's attack, but the grinning Aiden seemed to have been expecting it. The moment Will's Dragon Pulse shot from his mouth, Aiden's wibbly-wobbly shadow shot out in a concentrated beam along the ground, connecting with the shadow of one of the nearby dummies. Aiden's body quickly sank into the shadow, reemerging right behind the dummy with a smile. It was a very defensive, yet clever use of Shadow Sneak. "Man, that one never gets old! But let's try this!" Aiden's body flickered out of sight, appearing about a meter in front of the dummy before vanishing again. Aiden's body flashed closer and closer to Will in a zig-zagging motion, occasionally altering his pattern in hopes of tripping Will up enough to land a good Faint Attack.

.::Will::.Will grinned as the Umbreon dodged his attack. Very sneaky, good use of his moves. He hadn't been expecting to hit the Umbreon, anyway- just gauging his opponent's abilities. He kept his eyes trained as much as he could on the Umbreon as he blinked erratically across the field, smiling in anticipation. He liked these kinds of Dark-types- they fought dirty. Good practice. Will tried to pay attention, using Charge to buff up his defenses, eagerly awaiting the Umbreon to strike. He grinned, his tail slowly swishing back and forth behind him. "You gonna blink around like that all day or are we gonna fight?" He was hoping the Umbreon would attack soon- he had his own dirty tricks he wanted to unveil...

  Aiden - William
William was having too much trouble trying to keep track of where Aiden was. Aiden's version of Faint Attack was even slower than some of the ones he had seen before, but he was still hard to follow. All the Aron could do was watch in anticipation of what could happen next. Some day, he knew it would be him who was in a battle, showing off his magnificent strength. Guh, why did he have to be so tiny?!
"Let's..." Flash. "See..." Flash. "How..." Flash. "You..." Flash. "Handle..." Aiden appeared one last time, smirking as he sat right on top of Will's back. "This?~" Aiden did not attack, but rather watched the back of Will's head to see exactly how the Luxray would react. Aiden wasn't one for blatantly attacking. He preferred to feel out a Pokemon's fighting style and calculate the perfect way to beat it. A win wasn't a win unless it was flawless, in Aiden's eyes.

.::Will::.Will flinched slightly as he felt a sudden increase in weight upon his back. He turned slightly, looking at the grinning Umbreon seated on his back for a few seconds before his face split in a wide grin. This worked out even better than he expected. "Cute. Stellar move, really. Now here's the punchline!~" he said, before releasing the electricity he'd Charged into a Spark attack. With luck, he wouldn't even have to move- if the Umbreon decided to stick around, he'd by fried simply by the cloak of electricity Will generated.
