THank you for joining my guild, first I would please like to ask you to just simply follow gaia's standard rules, other than that I have none. if you would please simply tell us a bit about yourself... Well... My name is Alison, but most either call me Kit, Kitten, or Ali. Beautus where do you roleplay? and have you ever LARP'ed I heard its fun, but I always thought dressing up and yelling ONE DAMAGE was a little nerdy. I'm currently running around on a play-by-post site called Mizahar (easily Google'd wink ), and I really like it there because of how dedicated the memberbase is; while there are certainly plenty of people who stay for a few days and leave, the ones that do stick around make for a very enjoyable experience. I've done Live-Action Role Playing before, but not in the sense you're thinking. Many people don't associate LARP with tabletop role playing games like D&D and the many variations that are running around, even though they're the same thing, just with less moving around. I'm pretty open-minded about role playing, but I generally don't go as far as wearing costumes, aside from the occasional hat, or "amulet", or what-have-you. As far as feeling like a "nerd", I would only suggest in-depth role playing with friends who are doing it with you. As for anyone else, let them think what they want. I mean, as long as you're happy with what you're doing, everyone else can die in a fire if they don't like it. biggrin

Beautus roleplaying is cool, just I thought LARPing was taking it to far. That's all, but I remain open minded, and I tried to go to one event with my friend but my dad was liek NO!!!! I've been to a LARP once. I want to go back, but I'm too broke for it. blaugh It was loads of fun, even though everyone else there was ten times my level. Franklin the Gnome Alchemist was my character. Absolutely amazing. Almost escaped the town guards 'cause of my alchemy, too. biggrin
