"I found him! He's in here!" A female voiced called from outside the door of the room David had been taken to, followed moments later by a doctor and several nurses rushing into the room. After a mere two seconds of looking over the situation, the doctor pointed to Kay. "Get the other boy out of here, and see that nobody else is put in this room." He ordered, two nurses immediately complying, moving the Aburame to a bed and carting him off to another room nearby, while a third grabbed his equipment and carried it off to the storage room, where he could claim it upon leaving.
As soon as that was done, the doctor turned towards David, and pulled what looked like a string of talismans from his pocket. Stepping forward, he deftly lifted the small boy into a sitting position and wrapped the string around him several times, before laying him back down and sighing. "This could have been a mess..." He muttered, waving for the few nurses that were still in the room to go get back to work helping with the emergency patients while he began a quick check of the boy himself.
{ Just doing a little set up here for later events. Go ahead and respond to it if you want Sora, I left some stuff out of this post that would explain why it happened at all, cause it wouldn't make much sense to explain it flat out with nobody asking. }

A female voice came from somewhere outside the room, immediately followed by a few nurses and a doctor. Good, a doctor finally decided to show up. Sora thought to herself. Slowly getting up from her chair she moved into one of the corners and watched quietly as the doctors and nurses moved about. They even had Kay removed, seeing as the older boy was just sleeping on the chair and was very much in the way.
Sora wasn't really watching the doctor, but she saw the man pull out a string of some sort. What was that? It looked it the doctor pulled it out of David's pocket, but Sora wasn't sure. After all, she could only see over the man's shoulder. After the nurses, and finally the doctor, left, Sora went back to sit down in the chair next to the boy's bed. That's when she finally saw what the string held. Talismans? At least, that's what they kind of looked like, but the girl wasn't sure. So she lay back in the chair and closed her eyes slightly. Once David woke up, she would ask him.

As the sleeping Kay was hoisted onto a chair and rolled away, he shifted a little in his sleep. Even the insects were a bit more seditive, moving sub conciously across his hands, face, and even falling off the bed as it was rolled down the hallway. His mind was relaxed, and his dreams came and went in slowmotion, reacting oddly with the enviroment, continously fallin deeper and deeper into another dream inside his dreams. in the real world, a nurse asked if he was okay, trying to wake him up, to which he sub conciously replied: "We need to go deeper...."

Waking up from his dazed state within a few hours or so. Kay got out of his bed, the nurse concearned about him, but he pushed her aside. "I have to go, I am fine!" he said walking sluggishly out of the room he had been seated in. He was working off the after effect of the sleeping pills, and used the wall to help balance himself as he walked to the storage room. The nagging woman was still right behind him, but as he doned his equipment an evil glare sat upon her followed by a smirk. AS the door closed the woman, hanging by chains, would be squirming and trying to scream through tape. He locked the door and left the hospital.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | ChuuninTeacher { Sand } Tactical~ Slowly, ever so slowly, David’s eyes cracked open. He felt different, like he had been, sleeping. How long had it been since he slept? And why did he feel like it now? Before he could answer that question though, he realized he felt something rather odd. Tubes running into his body, some in very uncomfortable places. Who the hell was brave enough to-? Tubes? He’d never have stayed in meditation deep enough for that to happen. Reaching up above his face, the boy yanked out the first and most convenient of the tubes, one that had been rather unceremoniously shoved down his throat, and shoved it aside, ignoring the slow drip of brown gunk falling out of it. Best not to think about that. Slowly sitting up, the boy also popped several wires that had been attached to him off, shoving them aside in much the same way. Next would come those less pleasant… Wait a second. Something was indeed not right. Twisting around in the bed, he let his feet fall to the floor, where they landed with a soft plop, confirming his suspicion. His feet would never reach the floor from a normal sized bed. Much less the foot of the bed while lying down, as they had been. What exactly was going on here, and where were his pants? Seconds later, the boy was up on his feet, blanket wrapped around his waist, and tubes best left forgotten on the floor. He didn’t know why he was here, and he didn’t feel like staying. He was going to find an explanation for what was going on here. About that moment however, a nurse walked past the room, glancing in the door for a moment before continuing by, only to stop a few feet down the hall, turn around, and dart back and look in the door again, before running off yelling something at the top of her lungs. ”What the hell?”Only moments later, a new person came by, this time a doctor apparently, who gave the biggest smile he possibly could and walked into the room, gesturing for David to sit back down on the bed and saying he’d explain everything. How convenient. A quick glance back at the bed, and the tubes thereon, however, moved David instead to sit down in a chair designated for visitors, to which the doctor gave a light chuckle as he grabbed a chair himself, and sat in front of David. ”Well, it’s a long story.” The man began, only to be interrupted immediately. ”Where are my pants?” David deadpanned, staring at the man dully. ”Ah, yes. One second.” The man stood up and moved to a small box by the door, speaking into it for a few seconds before returning to his seat. ”A nurse will bring you some clothing shortly. While we wait, shall I explain?” The man asked, his smile never leaving his face all throughout the whole ordeal. At David’s shrug and nod, he did just that. ”Well, after your stunt during the Cloverfield attack, yes, we’ve heard all about it, you used up a dangerously large amount of your chakra, much too quickly. This sudden use of chakra burnt you out from the inside, putting you into a state of sleep that, for the time being, even the Ichibi couldn’t break through, luckily enough. That would have been a disaster in and of itself. One of the genin brought you to the hospital, where you were placed in the emergency care unit with the rest of the patients. The nurse on duty was new, and didn’t recognize you to know how to deal with such a thing, luckily another who did was around, and we got that sorted out with those talismans on the bed there.” The man paused, gesturing to the bed, where a string covered in talismans laid. If David had paid more attention, he would have noticed it coming off along with all the tubes and wires. ”At first, we thought you were just suffering chakra exhaustion and just left you with normal treatment. That thought changed when you slept through the first week. Normal even severe cases only last a week or so, and subjects begin to show signs of activity by then. You however, slept like a rock. After several months had passed, and you were still there, some of the more, adventurous, doctors, got a hold of your childhood medical files, mostly concerning your size. They did some experiments on you, despite protest from various people, including a young girl who has been in to see you quite often.” The man paused at that, chuckling slightly at David’s look of confusion. The boy apparently had no idea who he was talking about. Oh well. ”Anyways, to make a long story short, they managed to locate the problem, and fix it. You had some cells that weren’t reproducing properly, causing you to grow very slowly. While that sounds great at first, it wouldn’t have made you live any longer. You’d just have died looking twenty or so.” He stopped again to let that sink in, looking to the door as the nurse finally arrived carrying a change of clothes for David. David happily accepted the clothes, immediately slipping the pants on under the blanket, before tossing it aside and slipping into the rest of the outfit. It wasn’t the most attractive of clothes, but he didn’t much care. He was dressed, and they were actually rather comfortable. Once he was dressed, he turned back to the man and nodded for him to continue, the nurse having already left after delivering the clothes. ”There’s not much more to it after that.” The doctor said, glancing up at the ceiling for a moment. ”We put you on some extra drugs to boost your growth for awhile, and your body caught up pretty well on it’s own. It’s been about a year since the Cloverfield incident now though, to give you perspective. According to our records, that would make you fifteen now. Congratulations.” The man stopped once more, his already large grin even larger, yet still seemingly happy, rather than the forced plastic smiles of some doctors. ”Let’s see, what else can I tell you… Well, we have a new kazekage. You might have seen her, Jade fought Cloverfield with you. She’s the one that brought down the blast of lightning. I think everyone in town saw that blast. Some hope never to see it again. What else… Ah!” Realization lit up in the man’s eyes as he remembered one last detail, something that should have been obvious to tell the boy first. ”You passed the exams last year! You’re officially a chuunin of Sunagakure. You should probably see the kazekage as soon as you can.” He finished, with an even wider smile than ever, making David seriously wonder if the man’s face would split in two. Though his own wasn’t so far off, relative to his usual bored expressions anyways. Finally done with his stories, the doctor stood up and gave David one last nod and smile, before walking out the door, waving behind him. ”Good luck kid, and don’t let me catch you in here again!” he called back with a chuckle, before vanishing down the hall, undoubtedly off to terrify small children with his insanely happy smiles and longwinded stories. With the man finally gone, and most of his questions conveniently answered, David stood up and simply began walking back and forth in the room, stopping every now and then to twist and pull various muscles in his body. They must have had him on some special medication, because the muscles were all working perfectly, but he still needed to get used to this new body. He doubted he’d be able to do some of the stuff he used to quite so easily with such a difference, and no conversion time. ~ [Chakra: 60/60]

きゅうけつき そら すながくれ|げんいん | ちぞけい | きゅけつき | えいせい しのび Sora paced awkwardly back and forth. The doctors had placed her in the childrenʻs pediatrician section of the hospital. With the rebuilding of the hospital came the new rooms and the new wings. It was a relief, but now the commute to the emergency room was a lot longer. The work was worth it, everybody needed more space. And this should have made Sora a lot happier, but she wasnʻt happy at all. In fact, she was utterly pissed off and stressed. David hadnʻt waken up for almost an entire year. He hadnʻt moved a muscle, twitched... his heart rate didnʻt even change for a split second. It was almost as if he would never wake up. The thought scared Sora, even more than the thought of never being able to see her father again. After breaking up with Tanzu she no longer "knew" anybody in the village. Only Koizumi... but that was a strained relationship that couldnʻt really be trusted. Even the news of Shayeraʻs death had finally reached Sunagakure, which had sent Sora spiraling into a pit of depression for nearly... had it been six months? David was technically her only friend, and the thought of losing him made her even more depressed. Perhaps that explains why she felt so strongly about the doctors performing experiments on him. That just wasnʻt right, especially since it was without his consent. She had fought desperately with the doctor, but he had just blown her off and told her to "worry about herself". Hah, like she needed to worry about herself! She was perfectly fine... except for the fact that she hadnʻt gone home since the monster, apparently called Cloverfield, attacked Sunagakure. The new Kage had come into power, Jade as she was called, yet Sora hadnʻt even gone out to meet her either. She had just hung around the hospital, tending to patients and checking in on Davidʻs condition almost every other hour. " Kyuuketsuki-san!" a nurse shouted from behind Sora. Slowly, the lavender-haired girl turned around, a bored and drained look upon her face. " Itʻs that boy, David! Heʻs awake!" Immediately, the mask of depression cracked away and Soraʻs eyes widened in surprise. Finally, after a year, David had finally opened his eyes again! Quickly, Sora sprinted out of the room, telling the nurse tersely to watch the kids until she came back. The run from the childrenʻs wing to the wing where David was being kept was a long run, but to Sora it seemed like a few seconds. She skidded to a halt in front of his room just as soon as the doctor walked out. " Is it true? Is he really awake?" she asked quietly, her breathing labored from the quick sprint down the hallway. With his insanely bright smile, the doctor nodded before continuing down the hallway. But Sora didnʻt walk into the room. She merely stood outside it, watching David pace back and forth in his room. He was obviously taller, much taller than when she had first met him. Perhaps the experiments were a success after all. " Knock, knock..." she whispered quietly from the doorway, a soft smile upon her lips. " Finally woke up, did ya?" Sora said. The changes in her appearance were obvious. She was quite a bit taller, at least three inches taller, her hair had grown out a bit more, and her entire figure was more muscular than it ever had been. Hey, running up and down hospital hallways is a workout! But the most prominent difference was the dark circles under her eyes. She hadnʻt slept much in the passed year, perhaps only a few hours every week. Depression and stress could do that to somebody, but it had taken itʻs toll even harder on the young kunoichi. But now she was just glad that she wasnʻt going to be alone in the world yet again.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | ChuuninTeacher { Sand } Tactical~ As he heard the voice at the door, David turned to see who it was, and found himself staring for several moments. Who was this person? After about five seconds, it clicked. She looked a little different, a lot different if you considered the altered angle he was seeing her from, but wasn't this... Huh, what was her name again? The girl from the chuunin exams anyways. "Ah, it's you. I guess so, yeah. Didn't exactly intend to fall asleep in the first place..." he muttered the last of it, scratching his shoulder a bit. It was a bit awkward trying to talk to someone you hardly knew, after being asleep for a year. That, and he wasn't totally "Awake" yet. He still needed some time to sort himself out. Looking at the girl more closely, David cocked his head to the side, trying to get a better grip on the height difference. She was still taller than him, but only by a few inches now, where it had been a good two feet or so before. Definitely a strange new way to see the world. He had to wonder if people would even recognize him. More so, would he recognize them? It would be strange trying to figure all of this out. But back to the point. "You kinda look like you could use the sleep instead..." ~ [Chakra: 60/60]{ I'm getting an interesting feeling with these awakening posts. I think I'm going to be very happy that I let all of this happen. He seems a bit happier too. Or maybe that's just cause he's confused. }

かろなしかぐやろいヴぁす Let those who face me know.... Karonashi leaned against the front desk, the container with the miso ramen in it resting on top of it next to him. The dark haired shinobi was studying the room assignment roster that had just been laying out behind the desk, with no nurse or clerk anywhere in sight. "What was his name again....wait.." He flipped back several pages and began scrolling through the lists of long term ICU patients. Over the course of several months, he spotted one name that kept recurring more than any other. "David Greyson.... sounds right." The teen flipped to the current rooms listings and found the page with David's name on it part of the way down. Before he could read the number on the page, a nurse ran up and smashed the book closed shut. "Sir, you can't just do that!" The teen pulled his hands back and waved one apologetically. "My apologies ma'am. I'll get out of your hair." He turned and headed down the hall. Once he was around the corner, he held up his other hand - one that had the page he had torn from the room roster on it. Karo looked down it then across. "Alright, there we go." He dropped the sheet and walked down the hallways until he was finally standing outside of David's room. The taijutsuist paused when he heard David talking to someone inside - he wasn't about to interrupt a reunion with someone who had been gone for a year. ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! Demetri Cornelius NPC | Mistahism | Doctor"Excuse me, Ma'm." Now in his plain clothes as he was about to go home for the day, Demetri walked over to Koizumi as he smiled and looked down at her. "The patient you are trying to see isn't doing to well and visitors really aren't welcomed at this time. I'm sorry that the nurse didn't tell you but you definitely can not go in there." Demetri was a tall man, standing at about six foot five and rather muscular. He looked more like a bodyguard then a doctor with such a defined physique, so he felt a need to show his certification. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his identification badge as he continued to speak to the woman. "You see. I'm a doctor here. I'm actually on my way home which is why I'm not in my uniform." He chuckled a bit as he noticed how awkward this was no doubt becoming. This girl seemed rather young and it was odd that she would be visiting the man in that room but he thought it would be best to not question it. To be truthful he didn't want to prolong the conversation for much longer. Demetri had lied. He wasn't going home but if were to explain his true destination, it would only make things complicated for his own personally life. The nervous doctor was still holding his card up but was starting to bring his hand back into his pocket. If Koizumi was actively paying attention she would see on his left hand the tattoo of a scorpion about to sting it's prey--a tattoo that was normally hidden by his medical gloves. It was a odd tattoo for a doctor to have but surely wasn't anything self-incriminating. "So if you would please. Leave David alone for the moment. It would be appreciated."
