Vincent watched Hiniko get up and stretch just a little bit to loosen herself. He figured based on what he knew about Chakra Reserves that she must have used all she could for the day with all the Jutsus that she had performed. Still he saw her clenched fists and that slight shake. Something was bothering her all right. Vincent was certain of that but it was so beneath the surface that it was like a sink hole; hidden until it caves in bringing down everything else that was set on top of it.
He saw the way she looked around the room at the others in a very apprehensive sort of way like someone who was suspicious of another person plotting against her.
Once again, he wanted to do something but really there was nothing he could do because he had already made the offer. He had made the move. Now it was up to Hiniko to make hers.

Zin looked at Hiniko start on her other jutsu's. He smiled brighter when he noticed she was also ordained with the element of earth. Having something of a common trait with other people made Zin elated as before he smirked to Vincent and Hiniko's actions. They had the 'I like you but I don't know' sorta behavior.....it was quite humorous. Zin sighed and continued to look up at the sky, watching the clouds from underneath his long jet black hair while continuing to build up his chakra to max. For the jutsu he was going to learn,if the teacher didn't come in by then, was going to take quite a bit of his energy and Zin didn't want to start at a disadvantage.

Matsuya had wandered off into the past while looking out the window. He had remembered his past in Kirigakure, the people he left behind. He turned slowely to look at his students. "Has anyone finished all of the set requirments?" Matsuya knew if anyone had that there was another test. He had made that particular test up himself.

Major Dangerousk Matsuya had wandered off into the past while looking out the window. He had remembered his past in Kirigakure, the people he left behind. He turned slowely to look at his students. "Has anyone finished all of the set requirments?" Matsuya knew if anyone had that there was another test. He had made that particular test up himself. Vincent raised his hand. "I have Sensei." He said half hoping that he did but still somewhat nervous that he didn't.

Rolled up before flipping himself up,"Hai! I did Matsuya-sama"Zin said brightly as he wasn't nervous in the least. He was simply waiting to prove himself and take the first large step to becoming the Leaf's strongest Oinin.

Matsuya nodded, smiling a bit. He walked back behind the teacher's desk and set his hands on it. "Good. Then we're almost done here." His smile dissapeared. "I have a question for you. And I want an honest answer." Matsuya sighed. "Do you two know what it truely means to be a shinobi? It's a simple question, I know. But it needs to be asked."

Zin's face slowly disappeared as Matsuya's disappeared. It went even shorter when Zin heard the question that was asked as he looked to his feet. He thought about it before speaking before Vincent,"Well.......I cannot tell you what it means to be a Shinobi when I've never been one. I also won't allow myself to say to be a Shinobi is to serve and protect.....as that is not what every ninja does."Zin said as he shook his head and said softly,"To me......Being a Shinobi is to learn more about themselves. To know their bodies limits and expanding it.....So that if you were to help someone or were to achieve some goal....You experience in being a Shinobi can help you achieve that goal and give you that confidence for it."Zin said as that's what he honestly felt what it was in his opinion.

"I may not know definitely," Vincent said, "But I have an idea. Being a shinobi means protecting and fighting for others. Putting one's life on the line for the sake of an ideal or a people. This is especially true for one's teammates."

Sev arrived just outside the academy, breathless and wondering how he arrived before Daichi. "Weird..." Sev thought out loud before walking around to one of the many windows of his classroom. Movement inside the room caught his attention, there were other academy students inside as well as the Hokage. Sev smiled as he slide the window open, lightly hopping through. "Sup guys!" He said with one hand in his pocket and the other scratching his head. "Hokage." Sev nodded before sitting on a nearby desk.

Matsuya nodded at the two that had already answered his question. "Those are fair summaries. It's true that being a shinobi can help you learn more about yourself. But it is also true that when you are a shinobi you are putting your life on the line everyday. And that is something you will have to get used to." Matsuya's eyes moved to Sev. "I'll ask you the same question Sev. What does it mean to be a shinobi?"

Hiniko had finished her jutsus for today and she sat pondering what it ment to be a shinobi. She listened to the outhers descriptions and they fit well, but what did it mean to her?
"Being a shinobi means not giving up. You must learn your limets and then beat them. Being a shinobi you have to know that your life can and most likely will be in danger everyday. To protect, serve and fullfill your goals is what I beleive the goal of being a shinobi is." She said softly but loud enough for him to hear. She wondered if this was right. She knew why she worked to become a shinobi. For revenge....to make a difference. She remaind silent waiting.

Vincent smiled at Hiniko's answer but he couldn't help but wonder about whether she was sincere about it. There was still the way she shook, clenched her fists, and the way that she said certain things that made him wonder about her. Given the answer he gave about what it meant to be a shinobi he wanted to help her but didn't know how.

Hiniko couldn't ignore the stares that Vincent kept giving her. Though it made her feel slightly confused and uncomfortable. She gave him a knowing glance. She would try to talk to him later. He seemed genuine. She hoped she cold trust him. She looked away.

With the way that Hiniko looked away from Vincent it wrenched at his chest. And once again he had to ask himself why he was acting like this. He had only met the girl a few days ago and now he was going after her as if he was love struck.
"Love struck?" He asked himself and immediately shook it off.
How could someone fall in love within a matter of days? Still, he had to admit that level of attraction towards her how she was cute and beautiful at the same time. Cute in her appearance of that sweet face and the white hair. But also beautiful in the way she performed her Jutsu. Almost like she was an Olympic class skater performing Perfect 10 routines before the judges.
Again, he tried to concentrate on what the sensei was going to say next.

Hiniko easily focused on what was going on around the room. She waited sev's responce to what being a shinobi ment. She wonderd if his response would be like everyone elses. Looking at the hokage and the rest of the students she wondered what their perpose was. Why did they train, why did they fight? Was her perpose good enough?
She hated it when she had her doubts about the way she did things. She took a calming breath though, looking around. Yes she was going to be an assasin. But that did not entitle her to be silent and alone. Sometimes you had to work with others. So now it was time to get to trust her comrades.
Zin, she thought he was a nice person, it was great to have another earth element. He was very skilled and she thought he would mae avery trustworthy ally. Luna she didn't know enough about to make a judgment on. Haseo was the silent one, and she knew he must hvae a dark goal. She had to be warry of him. It might be a bad idea if she wasn't.
Then there was vincent. She turned her gaze on him again. He seemed to want to help others as he had said. He obviously had a thing for her, and wanted to help. He was a skilled fighter, and they seemed to have goten along whenever they talked. She felt it easier to be around him and Zin so she hoped she was grouped with them.
Looking at him she wonderd if she could risk hersefl getting close to him. She really wasn't used to having to think things like this before. She sighed running a hand through her hair. What was she to do? She almost regreted comming to the academy, but she had to start somewhere.
