Lucus peeked at Arist before he made his way to begin walking through the blowing winds and snow back to his manor, "You didn't know Akita was pregnant?" his ears went back to lay against his head, not in anger this time but to keep them out of the way of the blizzard-like winds which felt like it was cutting right through them. "Not sure when she's due but.. Her and Kain are expecting." Even though it would make no difference in the storm Lucus made a gesture to brush some of the snow off of his coat, only for it to gather right back to that same point in moments. "Lance making dinner.. At least Devri won't be there to insult it. Maybe Zeki is helping him..."
Akita watched Kain drop himself to the ground, somewhat afraid that something had happened. "Is everything alright?" She questioned as Kain removed the blankets to lay the kiss on her stomach. She couldn't help but giggle softly at the cold of his lips.

By the time Lucus was done talking, Aristocramon already had his tongue out to try and catch some snow flakes. They were just cold water, but for some reason, it was still fun to catch them. Where ever Vempyremon was now, she must have been catching a lot of them. It was an old childhood memory of his. "No. I didnt know...but that's great. Means more kiddies for me to play with." Aristocramon stopped for a second and looked a bit insecure for the moment. "...I dont seem like a *****, do I?" He really hoped he didnt. The moment they neared the manor, Aristocramon passed under a few trees which suddenly decided to drop several pounds of snow on him.
Kain was silent for the moment while he spent some time at Akita's belly area, occupied by many perhaps. He still didnt know. He gave a soft rub to her pregnant belly in case it was cold already from being uncovered, before Kain decided to get up and almost tackle Akita's upper body with one arm going around to her back and the other grabbing her from around her thighs, to pick her up. She might have been comfortable there, but it surely wasnt a nice, comfortable place to be. Just around the staircase, leading to the second floor (a rather nice, decent sized house fit for a large family, but surely not as big as the manor) was the nicer part of the 'living room' where Kain gladly layed Akita down on the couch. There was a nice fireplace in front of the couch, which Kain would rather avoid, but to keep Akita warm, he decided to turn it on. "...Do you know how many yet?" Kain spoke a little bit too soft; his heavy accent almost got in the way of his whispering.

"Yes, it will be nice." Upon hearing the question about being a ***** Lucus quickly spun around, just in time to see Arist get dropped with the large amount of snow. "No no man. You're just good with kids. That's a lot more than I can say.." Lucus couldn't help but laugh at the sight and slight distraction, even if it was slowing them down a bit. "C'mon man, let me help you up." Dropping himself into the snow Lucus started to brush some of the snow off of Aristocramon.
Not really minding being moved, more so happy that Kain was back she wrapped her arms around Kain. She had to admit though, the loss of the blankets was a bit of a chill. Being moved up to the upper level by the fireplace was much more comfortable though. "This is such a nice place." She let herself get cozy on the sofa beside the heat of the flame her ears perked up to Kain's question. Peeking over at him with a soft smile she shook her hear, "I was told though, it was to be a large litter. Much bigger than the average." She gave him a soft laugh, "That kiss of yours seemed to have been very good luck."

The snow had completely covered Aristocramon. Not a spot of green was even showing. After Lucus cleared some of the snow off, however, Aristocramon wasnt there under the snow pile. Instead, Aristocramon was behind Lucus, on his feet and snow free with his arms crossed. "What are you looking for?" Aristocramon acted as if he was oblivious as to what happened, but he faintly smiled to himself, proud of his silly magic tricks. "Stop digging and let us get some food, yes?" A little further at the manor grew in size as they neared it.
As if that were the cue, Kain's heart nearly skipped a beat. After he thought it would have, it does and he nearly ends up falling over on the bricks surrounding the fireplace as if he were about to pass out. He holds himself up by the fireplace and just acted as if he only stumbled, again, though, he repeats himself, "...How many? Wie viele sind es? Vhat is average?"

Lucus looked up at Arist over his shoulder, "How in the world.." Getting to his feet and brushing himself off Lucus laughed, "Now I can see why children like your magic. There is no explanation!" Trotting past his green companion he made his way towards the manor, "Yes. This cold is making me quite hungry. Lance had best prepared a feast!"
Akita gave a quick gasp, "Are you alright Kain..? Well..." Akita looked away and tilted her head as if trying to look at something on the other side of the room in an awkward manner. "The average litter is two to three..." Her voice grew quieter as she responded to Kain's question, "They said to.. expect almost double..." Moving to almost hide in the sofa she continued to speak quietly, "We have.. are going to have.. a large family it seems."

Upon entering the manor, there's a sudden smell that overwhelms the doorway, and it smells like some good food. Aristocramon rubs his nose a little bit from the nice smell; it tickles his nose. "Dont expect too much of him, especially if this is his first time." To wherever Aristocramon ran, he ran in the direction of the scent where his nose led him. There in the kitchen, Lance had set out a small stack of plates on the counter for whoever was wanting to get something to eat. Whatever it was, it smelled good, and there was a lot to eat. Politely, Lance had waited for his father to come home before he got any food. Zeki did offer and help with the cooking, but Lance decided to force a break onto her so she didnt have to.
Kain had his face towards the wall of the fireplace as he continued to prop himself up while listening to Akita's informative information. He was silent for a second before he took a hand off of the brick covering around the fireplace. "Glücklich... I'm so...happy." Kain said it with such a whisper, that it almost seemed as if he werent...but he really was. And he showed it...by fainting right onto the floor, being knocked out like a light.

Lucus made his way after Arist and peered inside to sniff the smell that had hit him when he walked in the main door, "Lance, it actually doesn't smell half bad. So, did Zeki help?" He gave a smartass smirk to his son, proud of this work thus far.
"Nope!" Zeki ginned standing watching over Lance, "Mister Lance told Zeki he wanted to do it on his own and I should take a break, Zeki stayed anyways~"
Peeking back over at Kain when she heard the thumb of him falling to the floor fainting Akita sprung off the sofa, "Kain! Kain oh my gawd.. Are you alright?!" Quickly she ran over to his side and fanned him with her hand, "Kaaain, wake up love! Up up! I can't move you, you are like twice my size dear!"

Lance, unfortunately, was pretty much as silent as Vempyremon was before she decided to run off, and that's exactly why he was so silent. He was sure she would show back up by what Aristocramon said, but with Devri gone too, it made everything even more quiet. TOO quiet. "Yeah...I tried." Lance has his head bowed slightly, fear of it being bad, looking down at his thumb which he cut with a knife while trying to cut the ham that was there. It was wrapped and tended to, of course. "You may get whatever is set out for you. I'll get some after everyone else has..."
It was for sure, Kain wasnt going to get up anytime soon. He was out cold...or his skin was just naturally cold. At least the fire place was on.
There was a soft knock at the door sometime after Kain fainted, however. From the window, it looked as if it were Cameron. He had heard news of Akita's pregnancy and decided to check on her since he was a doctor and scientist on several degrees. What luck that he came just in time to take care of Kain at the same time, too.

Lucus gave Lance a pat on the head and ruffled his hair, "I'm sure it'll be good." Grabbing a plate Lucus served himself and made his way though a second door to the dining room. "Just make sure you eat as well Lance, you'll need all the energy you can get for your studies."
Zeki gave Lance a smile, "You did very well Mister Lance. I'll eat after you guys. Then I can do the dishes and put anything away." Giving him a quick bow she handed Lance a plate, "Go on."
Her ears twitched to the knocking at the door, "Don't you go anywhere Kain!" Very well knowing he wouldn't Akita ran to the window to keep outside, "Mister Heart Attack!" Quickly yet carefully Akita made a dash downstairs to open the door and let Cameron in out of the cold, "Oh, please please com in quickly before you get frozen out there Mister Cameron!"

Lance gave Zeki a look. His usual unsure look. He was about ready to argue with her on who gets their plate of food last. "No, I insist, and I will be doing the dishes. You dont need to dirty your hands over such a troublesome task." Lance took the plate from Zeki, only to give her the plate back, expecting her to get her food. "You may help me with dishes if you want, though." Although Zeki is supposed to be his 'assistant', he hardly lets her get her hands dirty with any task he's very well capable of doing. Of course, she's enjoyable to be around, but he wouldnt make her do anything extremely hard. Lance watched through the corner of his eye as Aristocramon waited in line behind Lucus to get his food; they were both hungry after traveling in the snow...and Lucus still seemed as if he was covered in it.
Cameron inched his way in, nearly frozen, but he wasnt in a hurry. His furless tail wasnt much protection against the cold, and he shuddered a little bit to try and keep his teeth from chattering. He only tried to shove off the fact that he was cold to act a bit more professional than that like he usually is. "What?" Cameron paused a little bit and looked at Akita up and down. "Why are you in such a panic? That is not good for you." With him, Cameron brought his usual medical equipment in a small first aid bag. He didnt want to lure Akita out in the cold over to where the rest of his equipment resided, so he had to bring only what was necessary. "How are you feeling?"

Zeki frowned slightly, not wanting to go against what Lance had said to her, "If you insist Mister Lance.. Zeki WILL be helping yo with the dishes though.. She'd feel useless otherwise." Patiently Zeki waited for Arist to serve himself his food before going to take her own.
Setting his plate on the dining room table Lucus slipped off his coat, some of the snow already starting to melt leaving it rather soggy, "How.. yuck." Quickly he moved out of the room to leave it in the foyer by the door to hang before quickly making his way back to the dining room to seat himself and begin eating.
Akita nodded quickly, "Oh Mister Cameron I'm fine for the moment, Kain's fainted! I couldn't move him even if I tried but.. He's upstairs on the floor in the living room! Quickly!" Akita grabbed Cameron's hand and dragged him towards the stairs leading him up and to Kain, "You can check on me afterward!"

Lance didnt really want Zeki to feel bored or lose her as an assistant before he got too attached like Lucus did with Akita, but he would feel guilty to use her as a workhorse. On the other hand, Devri would have liked an assistant. An assistant sure is good to have when Lance is lonely, though, especially these days. Even after Aristocramon got his plate full, and after Zeki would get her plate full, Lance had no intention of eating so soon. He kept his arms crossed against his chest and waited until everyone was seated and comfortable enough for him to sneak out of the kitchen without his dinner..
"But...but, please, Miss Akita." Cameron wasnt properly prepared to check on a fainting person, but if Akita insisted, he wouldnt argue. As short as he was, Cameron stumbled up the stairs as Akita led him to the upper floor where Kain was still out. He escape from Akita's grasp and sat himself on the floor next to Kain to check on his fainting spell. "Now, I suggest you go cover up. It's deathly cold out there. This wont help with a fainted person." Meaning the fireplace which sucks up oxygen and releases smoke, and Kain happened to faint right next to it, Cameron turned it off. He put a hand to his forehead to check if he had a temperature, which he didnt and declared him to be alright. Unfortunately, Cameron was a midget compared to Kain and came up to Akita's ribs; he would never be able to pick Kain up to move him elsewhere. "He'll be fine. It has nothing to do with blood loss or an injury. To me, it seems like shock. Did you just now 'tell him'?"

Once everyone else was done Zeki went and took her own food, going to join the other two in the dining room. "Please don't be long Mister Lance.. You'll make Zeki worry.. You've been more quiet then usual..." She set her food down on the table and took a seat. "You two look you you got quite a chill out there, Zeki can't even imagine how cold it's gotten! And it's so windy that the windows are rattling... Doesn't look like it's going to get better either." Zeki said, looking over at Arist and Lucus for answers.
Akita grabbed the blanket off the back of the sofa and took to making a quick make-shift robe out of it, "Well that's a relief... Shock? Well.. Kain asked about how many.. I told him I was unsure but it'd be a large litter for sure.. I still have no number for him." She shook her head at Cameron.

Lance just bites his lip and closes his eyes, pretending he didnt hear anything from Zeki. He didnt want to feel guilty about leaving the table without any food. He was hungry and his stomach tried to fight back at him with loud growls, but he ignored that to. Lance walked faster to get to the door and decided to take a step outside, despite how cold it was. The white clouds, although dark, was still calming, and the fresh air compared to being cooped up on the inside almost left Lance breathless. He took in a deep breath and tried to calm himself down with several more pants of air. The feeling, that he was trying to run away from, was still there. He didnt know what it was, like something haunting him; he wanted to run away too, but he never would be able to survive.
Cameron at least tried to move Kain in a position to where his arms wouldnt fall asleep and he wouldnt get a bad cramp in his neck. But even that was still a struggle for him. Standing up gave him his own crick in his spine from tugging and pulling at Kain's body. But it was okay. He was a doctor. "Now...Miss Akita." Cameron winced and arched his back to try and pop it back into place. "That is what I came to check. Although, I still believe it is too early in your pregnancy to even tell for sure. Please, take a seat. Most preferably a spot where you can lay down." Cameron motioned towards the couch, but there was also the bed which would provide much more arm space for Cameron having to check up on her health.

Akita grabbed one of the pillows off the sofa and quickly put it under Kain's head to add at least a bit of comfort to being on the floor. "If a bed would be easier we could go to the next room. If not here would be fine." She nodded, seating herself on the sofa for the moment, a hand rubbing her stomach, "I'm so excited to finally be becoming a mother but.. I can't help but be so nervous.." Looking over at Kain who hadn't moved aside from them moving him she smiled, "I'm thankful to have such an amazing mate.."
