Failure... Failure... You are an utter failure... The words seemed to bounce around inside Terrion's room. Voices screamed at her as she sat on her bed, hugging a navy blue pillow and staring at the uniform gray stone walls.

Failure... Failure... You were never a good guardian... You have failed... Tears ran unchecked down her cheeks as the room seemed to swell with voices repeating the same thing over and over.

I am an utter failure... Terrion blinked back tears, but it was useless. He's just using your emotions, Terr. He's trying to break you down, get you to the point where you're so desperate that you'd do anything for him if he could make it stop. Don't listen, Terr. You know mom and dad's deaths weren't your fault, nor was Elia's betrayal. She scolded herself.

Failure... Failure... Terr bit her lip. Failure... Failure... She covered both her ears with her hands and screamed.

"Shut up! You don't hold power over me!"

Come, dear Terr... Come... I can stop it... I can make you the guardian you have trained so long to become...

"Leave me be! You don't have power over me anymore! Get out of my head!" The door swung open and Elia came rushing in.

"Terr! Are you okay? I heard screaming and-"

"Get out," she hissed between clenched teeth. Elia held up his hands and backed out.

"Okay, but food'll be here in a bit. If you're hungry..."

"I said get out."

Something interuppted the silence. A small scatching noise. Terrion perked up and wiped the tears away. She walked over to the wall and put her hand to it. There was a noise, a pause and another scatching noise. She cocked her head at the curious sound.

"That's weird..." She tapped the spot after realizing that it was repeating pattern, a message. "Zoe...?" Still curious, she placed the palm of her hand on the wall, just as there was a knock on the door.

"Food delivery, love." Shoot. It's Elia. Working quickly, she threw some extra blankets under the covers and used her powers to create the illusion of her sleeping. She placed her palm on the wall again and concentrated hard.

"I'm coming in, if you're ready or not." Terrion felt the wall give way and open a portal to the other side. She stepped through and shut it quickly as the door to her room opened. On the other side, she came face-to-face with a happy Rogue and marten.

"Oh, she's asleep. I'll just leave this here." Terr sighed with relief as she heard the next door close quietly.

Zoe shifted back to human. She hugged Terrion too. "i think i do too." She whispered, looking around. She saw the food, and crinmkled her nose. "im not eating that, and you guys shouldnt either." She whispered, pushing the food farther away with her foot.

Eve waited a minute until she was sure Striker was gone before she walked up to the guardian of the pass.
"Eve, there you are. I have been waiting. You know we have been looking for you," the large beast said. "You know he has been looking for you. He misses you."
"Who are you again? I do not remember you." Eve had a smug grin on her face.
The beast smirked. "It matters not."
"Then I shall kill you without knowing thine name! Eve screamed. She closed her eyes, the earth around her started to move. She opened them again and they were now a deep red. "... bye..." Suddenly the earth vanished and everything became black. A void had been created around them and the creature was now stuck forever.
"He will get you back for this! Just you wait!!"The creature screamed in anguish. He had been caught completely off guard. Apparently his master had not told him about Eve's power.
"... pff!" The threat meant nothing to her.
Eve closed her eyes and the blackness around her had vanished. That was too easy, she thought. She ran along the path as fast as she could to catch up with Striker. His scent was in the air and she knew he was close.

Terrion began pacing back and forth alside the wall, running her hand along the stone.

"How many times have I experienced this exact predicament in nightmares?" She halted. "And I always got out... Exact predicament..." She brightened immediately and turned back to Zoe and Rogue. "I should've took it as a warning! I'm phsycic! If I ever have that same dream again, I can figure out how to get out of here!" She scratched her head. "But I need to get to sleep. I haven't had a true sleep since before Elia was tainted..." Shoot. If he realizes that some Nightshades don't really sleep, then my illusion's in trouble.

(Sorry for not posting in so long Christmas stuff lol holidays are crazy)

Keeping himself off to the side of the path so as not to be caught off guard by the ogre he was warned about. Wondering what exactly an ogre looked liked but from what was said when he was a boy there not pretty. Making his way a little further Striker saw something he didnt like a tree crushed under what looked like a foot and then slowly but surely an awful grotesque smell flared under his nostrills. Holding his breath he looks around carefully crouched near the crushed log. When all of a sudden he hears the most bloodcurddling scream erupt from behind him without a second thought Striker rolls into the bushes on his left pulling his sword free in the same instance. Upon settling on his feet he looks up and sees the the ugliest thing the world has ever seen. Dark green skin with what looked like mold growing from under his fat rolls and a brown loincloth covering half his chest and and his waist. Swinging its club widley in the air in front of Striker beating his chest with his other hand he was twice the size Striker was in every aspect. Digging his feet into the ground Striker takes a defensive stance preparing for the monster.

"Ok i'm pretty sure i found an ogre, ok he is definetly big too. This is going to be fun hahaha!"

With what looked to be a smile the ogre starts laughing along with Striker grabbing his club in both hands he charges Striker in a mad dash. Smiling Striker takes his sword in both hands and lets out a yell of his own runing straight for the beast. Meeting him head on Striker brings his sword down in front of him to block the ogre's club hitting it with all his force Striker felt as if his whole body suddenly was hit by a building. Standing his ground Striker enters a deadlock with the ogre in a match of strength.

"F*** me, you are strong and you are the ugliest thing i have ever seen."

Jumping up and letting the ogre finish his swing, Striker uses the momentum from the swing to luanch himself a couple of feet away to regain his footing and rethink his strategy. Swing his club and beating his chest the ogre come charging in again this time breaking several trees along the way. Stabbing his sword into the ground he runs up the blade sending himself up and over the ogre smacking him in the back of the head with his elbow. Sending him stumbling foreward Striker lands and charges after the ogre grabbing his sword on the way jumping up onto a fallen log he luanches himself with his sword raised over his head towards the ogre. The ogre turns and raises his right arm to block the blow but Striker was already on his way down and cleaved right through its arm sending the tip of his sword straight into the ogres forhead with a sickinning thwack. As the ogre screams it starts to sway foreward and backward then finally falls over, walking over Striker bends over and says a warriors prayer for the beast. Grabbing his weapon he cleans it off and sits down for a couple of minutes trying to catch his breath.

"Phew...not as smart as your average bear where you my friend, hahaha."

Why, how you've grown, little Terr.Terrion sat down hard on the floor.

Go 'way. You don't have power over me.

Why of course I don't, dearest. You are the most powerful phsycic I've ever seen.

Shut up. I'm not listening anymore. Terr closed her eyes and concentrated on blocking out his voice.

My, you're strong. Beautiful, smart, strong. No wonder Elia fell for you. Terr stood and started to pace alongside the wall again.

I know where you are. I know about your illusion. Wonderful work, my dear. Brilliant. But it's not going to last long. Elia and his buddies are coming to visit. Enjoy your stay.

((I just realized that we keep calling this guy 'him'. Does anyone have any suggestions to what his real name should be??))
