Isha was confused when the girl spoke through telepathy but before she could answer hostilities arose. Isha looked between the two, and calmed herself being sure of her next action. She began to walk toward Ramella, hands in clear view and spread to her sides. She was leaving her self completely open as a show of good faith that she wouldn't attack. The wall of hair, being between Ramella and Ophelia, was not an obstacle to her as she walked past, her black wings folded behind her. She stopped 4 steps away.
"My name is Isha Fay Sayoon. You asked me a question if I was upset? Well as you probably noticed I was in the same situation you were just now, and your upset... right?"
Her voice was gentle, soothing, and motherly, all traits of a caring angel. She offered a smile of the same quality once she finished speaking and gave Ramella her full attention waiting to listen to her response.

Ophelia pondered at what the lunatic was saying. She wondered if she herself could have possibly been that mental when she was younger. She smiled believing it might have been possible.

You had a vision of me? I think it might have occurred when I declared war on heaven. she spoke calmly now that the girl had settled.

She could feel the little insolent blood sucker's tiny little psychic fingers dare to try and tap her mind. Under other circumstances she would lash out at whoever tried, but the vamp girl seemed in need of guidance more than anything.

" Who is this little foolish brat "fallen one"?" Ophelia said harshly to Isha.

Ophelia did however feel a slight resemblance in personality with the girl . Almost like a younger version of herself.

Ophelia sighed and spoke loudly

" i never act this ambitious do I?"

My whole existence is flawed...

Adrian's amber eyes narrowed at the Kurai leader's accusation, she quickly replaced this with her usual sophisticated calm. Other than the quiet footsteps of the retreating warriors, the chamber seemed to be filled with an uncomfortable silence. Tension permeated the area around her.

The Seraphim's voice was fluid and regal as she spoke.
"Lord Kestral, I cannot even begin to express in words my gratitude toward you and your people. Selfish as it may seem, my intentions for this war are nothing but pure. I hope that you will be able to see that as time passes."

She shifted in her seat, her left elbow resting on the arm rest of her chair, crossing her right leg over the other. The General's other hand was resting loosely in her lap. "Your warriors will be greeted with the greatest hospitality, and will be met with only the best accommodations Heaven has to offer. Morgance can help with that." The blue-haired angel 'meep'ed when her name was mentioned. "I can assure you that no one will be intolerant towards them."

The Seraphim General bowed her head to the great Kurai leader before averting her gaze to the center of the chamber, awaiting further instruction from Kestral.

As she stared at Ophelia she sent Isha another message. 'My name is...Ramella Silver Darkstar. Yes I am upset. But Ophelia isn't that the main reason for your sorrow. Tell me.' And left it at that. She would break down if Ramella told Isha what she REALLY felt. She looked so harmless and kind but so had the fairyre... It was obvious that Isha wasn't going to attack, so she focused mainly at Ophelia.

'Tell me what you are.'quietly but it still come loud from her voice. She didn't know who it was directed to. Ramella was so confused but kept a strong face. I was all about how you looked like...In her mind she was almost screaming.

(You meant the other part to Ophelia right?)
Isha tried to gauge how mature Ramella was, but her youthful appearance and being a vampire made it in vain. Upon getting an answer, she blinked and looked up thinking the question thoroughly. It was true Ophelia was the immediate reason, but the other reason was more of a sad realization. If Ramella looked into her mind during her thoughts she would see a image of Isha looking longingly at the sky and later an image of when she saved the little demon where it showed an angelic appearance on him while showing Reki with a demonic appearance. The first image had a literal meaning, while the other was symbolic. She was about to answer, but seeing that Ramella was trying to speak to Ophelia and telepathically with Isha, she waited. If Ramella was as young as she looked, despite her strong expression, that could be too much pressure building up and confusion for her to deal with. Isha moved her hands before her and clasped them together resting them comfortably against her stomach and looked toward Ophelia as she was the focus right now. Upon being harshly spoken to Isha seemed hurt. The once sweet talking Ophelia was now showing traits of what one would expect of a demon. After a pause to gain her composure, she spoke.
"... Her name is Ramella."
Seeing Ophelia acting this way she began to think Ramella might be in danger and openly thought of a way to get her out of it. Then she realized if Ophelia did attack it would be similar to the time before depicted in the second image she thought of earlier. Isha looked back to Ramella and looked her in the eyes not blinking, trying to get her attention. She couldn't speak back telepathically, but she could leave a message at the door. Isha kept this thought at the forefront of her mind.
"Do you regret coming here, Ramella?"

Hisikata looked at the zombie dully.

You know waiting for people to answer is very annoying. The vampire girl yawned.

Ophelia still had her eyes on Ramella. Her wings were stretched out but her face was expressionless. Ophelia wasn’t so much showing traits of anger but more of slight annoyance. She looked at Isha who was delaying her response for a moment. When she heard the name Ramella she pondered that it sounds like a name popular for Vampires who dwell in hell.

She took a deep breathe and her personality shifted again. Her wings relaxed and went back to their original position behind her back. Ophelia’s maternal instincts were severely challenged for a moment, but she was smiling her friendly appearance again. The sudden change was most noticeable and instant.

She kneeled down slightly to become a similar height as the young vampire.

“I am she who leads the demon spawn, I am the assistant conveyer of everyone’s sins, the teeth in the darkness and the tyranny of the night, I am Ophelia Hel Kastrala demoness general of the damned” She spoke so calmly and worded everything positively as she addressed herself to both Isha and Ramella.

“So Ramella, where did you learn to control magic like that? Your lacking a tutor I see. I can sense it. However, you have great potential youngling.”

The demoness remained in the position as she the look of her was paying attention to both of them as she watched the two look at each other. Like she could sense a conversation going on which didn’t use verbal words.

Opcapta walked back over to where the others were. He wandered over and looked at what the vampir girl Hisakata was doing, then Menji.

His attention was focused on Menji then turned to Hisakata.

Ramella decided to just tell the truth. What had she to lose? Ophelia would probably kill her if she ran or even TRIED to attack. And anyways, Ramella never believed in lying, it just kept building up and then would bite back at you.

'I do lack a tutor. I am 13. And I didn't know about this until 5 years ago. Something came after me. So I then found about my...powers. I killed one of my old friends. So I don't have control of my powers.' Ramella's voice broke at the mention of her old friend, 'I was cast out because they...thought there was a demon inside me. The voo doo lady said I had 4 different powers. That's why I have 4 snakes over my body. Two on my hand, 1 on my neck and one on my arm.'

Something was alluring about Ophelia. She seemed to be blocking Ramella from communicating with Isha. But that could just be her.

Ophelia’s split personalities always made it difficult for others to read her. She listened to the girl tell her story with undivided attention with a caring look. Though as sad as the story sounded, she smiled as she reached out to hold Ramella’s smaller hands.

“ no, there isn’t a demon inside you. But one has given you something. This amazing gift you have received is only given to the worthy. You are one of the chosen. You have been given the mark of Ishtarek. ”

Ophelia spoke only from what she could decipher, wether it was true or not could be contradicted.

She stood and let go of the young one’s hands , turned and walked a pace away as she spoke with a change in tone.

“ Reality is, the people we love eventually die or betray us, or we betray them. As soon as I received my gift like you, I didn’t control it and ended the life of more than a few people.

Hmph. I regret nothing. And neither should you.

With my guidance however I can teach you to embrace it. Enjoy the power that grows in you. I won’t force my help unto you after all I have a war to fight.“

Her faced turned serious as she looked back at her

“But first I must know, just where does your loyalty lie anyways little girl?”

An uncomfortable silence filled the air of the now empty chamber as Kestral, Adrian and Morgance were the only ones left in it's entirity.

Kestral leaned forward in his seat, interlacing his fingers in a triangle-like fashion. He then leaned his face foreward and rested his chin on his outstretched thumbs, placing his mouth and nose inside of his fingers.

"It appears that time will only prove whether your words and intentions are pure." Kestral stated, "I have no reason to distrust you, but I also have no reason to do the opposite. So make no mistake, I will not be swayed by words, only action and event. Take care of whomever you take with you."

The silence once again shrouded the room until Kestral chuckled a bit before he spoke once more.

"So... How has Uzura's flute served you these past years, Morgance?"

My whole existence is flawed...

Adrian nodded at Kestral's response. His thoughts were reasonable, and she wouldn't push the matter any further.

Morgance made a squeaking noise and jumped in her seat. Her hand instinctively went to the flute strapped to her thigh. She looked up at Kestral, her face thoroughly painted in a light pink blush.
"I... Um... Yeah... You remember?" The young Seraphim brushed her bangs out of her face. "I've gotten much more precise with her, and I've mastered my healing abilities. Sometimes Elyria talks to me. You know, up here?" She tapped her temple with her index finger. Her other hand still grasping at the flute. "It scared me at first, but I'm used to it now."

A wide grin spread across the blue-haired girl's face, betraying how overjoyed she felt that Kestral had remembered her. "How have you been fairing, Kestral? Or should I call you Lord Kestral?" The girl giggled a bit at how the name sounded coming from her mouth.

Hm... It seems Morgance has returned to her normal self. Adrian grinned to herself. She had missed this side of the young angel she had lived with these past years. Just who are you to her, Kestral?

Ophelia's touch was electrifying. Ramella's hands fell limply to her sides. And Ophelia's words spoke the truth. But who/what was Ishtarek??? She would probably find out later. Isha suddenly disappeared and the only person there was Ophelia. With her air of power and grace. Ramella looked straight into Ophelia's eyes and saw that she could hold her gaze.'I am loyal to no one, I don't trust easily. My only goal is to get through the next day. And the next.'

'Tell me more about this war. And how you could help me'
No matter what...Ramella was still a lonely desperate girl who wanted to live and firget...and get all the help she could.

Ophelia looked about a little to see where Isha disappeared but her attention went back to Ramella. She admired the determination in the girls eyes as she made her gaze. The words of her neutrality did in fact annoy her however.

" This is a war for the claiming of earth. but, it is also going to be more than that"

Ophelia looked up to the sky. she reached her hand out upwards like she was reaching for something and closed her fist tightly.

she looked back at the vampire girl.

" I shall help you, but only because your a fellow marked younger sister of Ishtarek. I dont believe in fate or destiny so therefore I wont hold it against you to try and choose your own path. but..."

Ophelia breathed and and knelled down to her again.

"If you are to survive young one, you will need to master the power you have been gifted with. You may be my apprentice, or walk your own path and learn for yourself. Either way, this world will be mine eventually.

That is my offer"

"No, I never forgot, it simply took a while to remember your name. After it was stated by your commander, I gathered your name and face and remembered all that had happened in the clearing." Kestral said, matter-of-factly. "And yes, a spirit weapon is a bit difficult to condition oneself to. The voices die down as you realize that they aren't hallucinations and instead quite real. The Demon Strings spoke to me through nine different voices separately. Oh, and I only require that my subjects refer to me as Lord. It's simply for sake of the hierarchy." Kestral said, slumping down a bit in his chair as the uncomfortability in the air seemed to drift away.

"We are little more than acquaintances. I played a crucial part in the forgery of that magnificent flute that she keeps at her side. Have you seen the incredible power that it can generate? Or has Miss Haevynstorm not used it towards it's true potential?" Kestral said, somewhat teasing the young angel.

My whole existence is flawed...

Adrian raised an eyebrow at Kestral's words and shook her head slowly. "The girl never fights, and she usually trains in private. I've seen her healing capabilities, and they are quite remarkable. However, I'd like to see this power of yours sometime soon, Morgance." She winked at her young ward. It seemed to the General that she was learning more and more about the angel living with her in this short amount of time they had spent on Kurai Island than she had in the entire time they had lived together.

The young Seraphim blushed and nodded quickly.
"Um... Sure, Adrian. After you talk with Kestral's men and we return home, I'll be sure to show you everything I know." She broke a small smile and turned back to the Kurai leader. "I've gotten quite used to her voice and I have been practicing with her almost everyday. I don't really like to train in front of people since I tend to talk to myself... Heh..." Morgance twisted the ripped end of her dress. "I could show you sometime, Kestral. If you'd like, that is... I'd need to be near a body of water, though." She smiled her child-like grin.
