"So the wolf really doesn't 'ave a heart...?" Hitachi stared down at the ice cream and frowned. What would it be like to live without a heart? He wasn't sure he wanted to find out. "'ow can you live without that... not in the literal sense but... that just- it sounds so sad." He lifted his hand and pressed it against his chest and shook his head and let his hand fall back onto the table. He scooped some of the whip cream and banana and popped it into his mouth and chuckled at Keshet's comment.
"Those are such small bites..." Hitachi teased, taking another scoop of ice cream.

Keshet shrugged as he took another bite. "I don't know how it works. I try not to pry into her business.... Lethe and her twin are not ones to mess with." He said narrowing his eyes at Hitachi, "They are not little bites, Mr. I have a big mouth and like to shove it full of ice cream until I get brain freeze."

Hitachi stared at Keshet for a moment wondering if he realized how ridiculous that sounded and was surprised by the reaction. He leaned his head down slowly to lay on the table to hide the beginning of his laughter. It was ineffective as he was soon laughing loudly and shaking his head.
"Calm down Skittle, calm it down. I'm just winding you up." He lifted his head and took a deep, calming breathe before offering him an apologetic smile. "Sorry sorry... I'll leave you alone..."

Keshet's fur was bristling as he saw Hitachi try to hide his laughter. "Now you're laughing at me!?" He huffed, "And telling me to calm down?! What nerve!" He scooped up some ice cream and took a bite glaring off to the side so he didn't have to look at Hitachi.

Hitachi continued to laugh, finding this entire exchange hilarious. In the back of his mind, however, he knew he probably shouldn't be teasing Keshet as much as he had in one day. The blue haired anthro laid his head on the table as he laughed and tried to get control of himself before he started to hiccup. That was the last thing he wanted. Then he wouldn't be able to enjoy the ice cream at all if he had to stop every 5 seconds to hiccup. Taking a deep breath, Hitachi finally was able to calm himself and he lifted his head to find Keshet looking away from him.
"Oi, are ya really mad?" Hitachi tilted his head and his ears drooped slightly. He liked to tease people but he absolutely hated it when anyone were to get upset with him. He leaned across the table. "Keshet? I'm sorry... you know I didn't mean it right?"

Keshet was thinking about seriously throwing some ice cream at Hitachi even though this was Auntie May's place. He looked back at Hitachi with an annoyed look. "Of course I'm mad! I'm mad at you and myself!" He said sighing, "Look I just..... I just need some fresh air. I'm going to go and figure out which way it is to the flower shop." He stood up and slowly made his way to the door.

Hitachi winced at the annoyed look he received from the other male and he sighed. Great, what did he do now? He started to apologize again but paused at something Keshet said. Mad at himself? Why would he be mad at himself? Hitachi frowned and watched Keshet stand and head towards the door. He stared down at the almost empty bowl of ice cream and then at Keshet's empty seat.
"Man...." He sighed, reached in his pocket and grabbed a few bills and threw them down on the table. He slid out from the table and chased after him. Why, he wasn't sure but he had to apologize. "Hey, wait..."

Once Keshet hit the air outside he moved off to the side and leaned against the wall. He took a couple of deep breaths trying to calm himself. He didn't know why Hitachi's teasing bothered him so much but it did. Finally calming down he looked around trying to figure out which way they needed to go. His ears twitched as he heard Hitachi come out after him.

In his haste to go after Keshet and apologize, Hitachi managed to stumble out of Auntie May's and onto the street like a complete klutz. He didn't catch himself before he ran into a human couple passing and he listened to them complaining and warning him to be more careful and pay more attention.
"Yeah, yeah..." He said to them as the woman swung her purse and gave him a nice whack for running into her. Hitachi bit back the urge to groan as he turned his back on them and spotted the rainbow male he was looking for. He gave him a sheepish look as he shoved his hands intthe pockets of his coat. "... You okay?"

Keshet missed Hitachi stumbling out of Auntie May's place and running into the couple. When they began complaining he turned his head to see what was going on. He sighed seeing it was Hitachi they were yelling at. He didn't know what to do so he stood there staring. He winced as the woman whacked the other male. "Yeah I'm fine." He said as Hitachi came over, "Better go find that flower shop."

"Right then, let's go." Hitachi nodded in agreement about finding the flower shop. He had nearly forgotten that that had been the reason they had come to town in the first place but it was easy to forget when you're having fun. Glancing around, he flicked his tail as he tried to remember where exactly the florist was. "Uh... I think it's that way." He said as he pointed across the street. "Maybe..." He said with a laugh as he looked back at Keshet. For some reason, when he looked at the rainbow male now he still felt awful for teasing him earlier like a child. It was then that he suddenly remembered something from earlier. "Oi, did you ever figure out something you wanted under 75 cents or do I get to keep it?"

Keshet was once again thinking off in his own world, this time going over what had happen and why it worked him up so much. "Huh?" He said looking up as he followed Hitachi, "Oh yeah..... I know what I want. We should pass the store on our way to the flower shop." He fell silent again, now awkward around Hitachi.

"Oh this I 'ave to see... " Hitachi was surprised and a tad skeptical that Keshet found something and that he would lose his 75 cents. Nonetheless, his curiosity got the better of him and he began to look around at the shop windows to try and guess. "I wonder what it is...." He began to look around at the shop windows to try and guess but quickly gave up. Deciding to take the lazy way out, he turned to Keshet and tilted his head. "Can I 'ave a clue?"

"You'll see soon enough." Keshet replied spotting the candy store up ahead, "A clue? Let's see...... Ah here. It has something to do with the way you met me today." He slowed his pace to give Hitachi time to guess before they reached the store.

"You mean that lovely experience with ol'Lizzie? Hm..."
Hitachi thought back to what had taken place earlier along that muddy road. Lizzie had been yelling at him and Keshet had been freaking out. Why had Lizzie been so upset before though? He vaguely remembered Keshet mentioning something about the candy shop to Lizzie as she left to cause some sort of havoc elsewhere but apparently the fight had been over -
"Is it the sugary goodness that is candy?" He looked at Keshet and tilted his head.
