Jazz found her way off to the Lupus Vines. She hadn't really explored the tree so much and it was neat to take a look. There so spotted a wolf. She did what she had done the first time and flew the stuff to her. This way she wouldn't get caught by the wolf. Poor soul.
Went off as well. The map lead her around and around this time. She ripped it up and went back empty handed...she ask for help next time.

Once again her wing twitched as he quipped back, ever the child that Late One. He was right; she didn't have to keep this up. It would be easier just go home and forget this whole fiasco. The reasons she didn't were just enough to keep her stilled. If something had managed to get her mother, life would not be pleasant for the nymph if she didn't help. There was also her refuge in believing herself right. Seeing all the other goodies faces when they realized they had been betrayed would be all the more worth it.
Glaring the Late One down, the defiant pae tossed out, "And give you a moments peace? Not a chance, though my morningstar would love to meet you." The affect on him was greatly savored, she could hear a difference in him this time as he gave the goose hunt list. If it was her, or the energy it took to keep up this charade, she couldn't tell.
Again, she went, choosing the Fenris root. The choice was easier because she didn't know where the Great Tree of Life was and the idea of going peacefully anywhere didn't suit her.
Due to her speed, she was able to get to the area as the wolves were leaving. Dumbfounded, it was a few minutes after the two went that she was finally able to say something "Mother?!" That green wolf with its markings looked eerily similar to her mother. There was no way she was caught like that, no way!
Looking over the area, Grendell admitted to herself that this was a better job then the past efforts. With a heavy sigh, she took her weapon and begun digging. After her efforts paid off and she found the root in question, her thoughts once more went to the wolves that fled the area.
Packing away the root she cast her shield to her feet and took the time to smooth over the signs of the wolves’ sabotage. A bunch of rocks were carried over to further disguise the ground where she found the root.
Satisfied, she took just a few minutes longer to clean off before going back with what she had collected.

Seraphim knit his eyebrows together honestly wondering what the point in this was right now. He wasn't gaining anything, it would be very easy to leave and not return since they were running around like chicken. Each passing second told him that he should go and not return.
No matter, keep face. He tousled his hair some, then promptly shook his head. "Fenris root.." Seraphim stated, going in the direction of the beach. He had been wrong the last time but he didn't really care.

Feeling confident from his previous victorious find, Kieran goes traipsing off in search of the lupus vine. As he nears the tree of life, he is covered in an odd sense of belonging despite the desertedness of the place. "Weird," he remarks to himself. Of course, he'd never been there before, and wouldn't know that Laisidhiel was the ancient home of the fauns.
He arrives just in time to see the blueish purple wolf flee into the bushes. "Ha-HA, that's right!" he exclaims, sticking his tongue out at the place where it had gone. "Be afraid! Now...what were you trying to destroy...?" He looks around. Ironically the wolves' intended destruction of the potion components were making it easier for Kieran to find them. Just look for the damaged plants, then look for intact ones that look just like them.
After a long search he finally finds a whole vine to take back.

"The Great Tree, hm?" Seth muttered, then nodded. Lupus vines it would be; after all, he had yet to bring his daughter to this tree, but he'd heard it was important to fauns. Maybe Ama would finally get in touch with her faun-ness.
As they approached the tree, a strange feeling came over Ama, and for some reason she was furios that the wolves were there. Hearing something ahead, she dashed forward to scare the wolf away, seeing it's tail vanish. "This poor tree..." She muttered, gently petting it's trunk.
Seth reached up and gently pulled a few vines down. "It'll be safe now that we've got what we need, Ama... but we can come and visit again if you'd like."
Ama blinked, then smiled and nodded a little. "Thanks dad... Lets get these vines back." All the way back, she had a smile on her face, but it was a smile one gets with strange feelings of confusion.
Seth chuckled, seeing his daughter's expression, then handed the vines over once they had reached the mansion.

Takeko was busily grinding up the fenris root with her mortar and pestle when she blinked at a new distraction. The hunter had set the parchment down on the table and pushed it towards her.
"Here, the last two ingredients are listed there with notes. Give them their instructions as soon as you're ready. I'll be back before too long."
The angel frowned slightly, picking up the list and watching the cloaked hunter head towards the door. "Wait...where are you going?"
The hunter's answer floated back over his shoulder as his figure slipped into the darkness outside, bow drawn. "Someone has to collect the cursed Pae'il, don't they?"
---
PROMPT #5
Still frowning a bit, Takeko shook her head and realized that the others were staring at her...waiting for something...oh yeah. "Err..." She cleared her throat, glancing down at the parchment in her hands for a moment. "Um...it seems the final two items we need are mountain ash and mistletoe. There's some other notes here, some scribbled out. But best I can tell, the mountain ash can be collected from the edge of Aura Nin." She didn't mention what had been scribbled out and replaced. It looked like Dragnid. Ugh. Good thing they had an alternative. "The mistletoe may be found growing in Loka Nei." Looking up from the parchment, she added from her own experience, "It used to grow along the river before the Isle fell. It's all around our house, in fact, so...you can probably find some along the edges of the ravine. Just be careful, everyone!"
Mountain Ash Prompt Small, soft piles of fallen ash lay heaped around the base of the Aura Nin. Near some of these piles, sat a greyish wolf. Wait a minute...okay, not so grey...most of that seemed to be ash in its fur. Underneath, the wolf actually seemed to be generally dark-colored. After a moment, it seemed to have no concern for the ash scattered about, shaking off and leaping off with a snarl as if it had somewhere to be very suddenly.
Mistletoe Prompt Sharp leaves and tiny berries hung from the branches near the ravine, but they seemed ignored by the lone presence there. A dark wolf, markings seeming to glow in the moonlight, glanced about, snarling softly before bounding off into the forest. No time to worry about silly berries and leaves anymore.

(( Have to go with the 'ashy' wolf XD ))
"..." He was angry. This was a wild goose chase. Either he got the right ingredient or he didn't. The purple angel was about to tear someones head off. It was clear in his actions, at least to Cinna, that he wasn't doing so well. He was quite angry. In any case, take out the anger on the mountain. Ah, it was something he enjoyed, the ash. Without warning, Seraphim punched a tree. A release.
After cooling his head a bit, Seraphim scooped up some ash and brought it back. He dropped it in front of Takeko, covering her in the ash but saving some of it though there was plenty more. After his act he walked away, waiting for more 'instructions'

"This vines make the most sense." Woobie agreed and helped gather. He then looked at the rest and hoped they were getting closer to a cure for Pastela. "Which now? Mistletoe or the Ash?" He wasn't sure which sounded the best.
Karma smiled and then looked at Woobie, "which ever you pick will be fine." She was sure if they picked wrong at least one other group would pick correctly. Fate would help them.
Cinna looked at Takeko, "Sorry!' She patted Phim's arm. She didn't know why he was so angry. Did he really care if they helped, or was it something else?

Jazz head off once more and went after the Mistletoe. She found then and picked a few. She then put a few in her pockets. Bob would love some for Christmas if he threw a party. The thought made her giggle as she walked back to the manor one last time.
Anna-Maria went off again. She was starting to get bored of this...well more this was the most work she had done since leaving the pirates. She was never fond of work. Oh well, she went off and found some Mistletoe before going back.

[Amusingly, I was going to go with mistletoe even before I noticed an opportunity for drama. dramallama ]
Now in....rather low spirits after bringing back the wrong ingredient after all his hard work, Kieran glumly trudges off toward Loka Nei for some mistletoe. Edging his way along the ravine, he smiles only a little when he finds the deep red berries and pointy leaves. He plucks a sprig and turns to leave when he hears a soft snarl. He freezes.
Oh Gods.
It's Elizabeth. He'd recognize her anywhere. Her precise shade of black, the ankh on her shoulder, the scarab on her leg. Well. He supposes it's her haunches now.
"'Lizabef?" he asks softly, hoping using his childhood pronunciation of her name would snap her out of this. His only response is that she bounds off into the forest again.
Trying not to cry, Kieran makes his way back to the mansion with his blasted sprig of mistletoe.

Elvis was disapponted with their streak of misses, but he didn't seem discouraged completely just yet. when he noted the "ashy" wolf he simply stared for a moment before running towards it in a panick. " SERA! SERA!!!!!!" Carter, didn't notcied when his little fae zipped away fro him, but when he did he panicked and stared. He was a bit stuck with sorrow to see that this wolf really was, in fact, sera and that he had to rip Elvis from her path because she could be dangerous. He finally snapped to attention and scooped Elvis quickly into his arms.
"NO! SERA!!!" Elvis cried out, flailing to get away from carter, but carter wouldn't let him go. "i'm sorry elvis..." carter breathed.

Seth frowned a little as the roots were picked then turned his attention as the last two ingredients were announced. "Mistletoe or Ash...."
"Lets go get some of that parasidic plant!" Ama yelled out, grinning. Oh, she had plans alright, plans to swipe a little extra of those plants and dangle it over Karma's head. What could she say, she was a meddling little brat!
Seth let out a small yelp as his daughter litterally dragged him off to gather the berries and leaves. Once they were there, he saw a dark wolf with glowing markings vanish, leaving the plants untouched. "Strange...." he muttered to himself before kneeling and gathering the sprigs of the plant carefully.
Ama made sure to get enough of the plant herself, getting a fair amount of both the berries and the leaves and stems.
Seth looked over at her and smiled a little. "You ready to get Pastela back....?"
Ama got up and nodded. "Yeah, I"m ready to get everyone back." She smiled as they headed back to the table, hiding away a small sprig into the folds of her costume when she placed her goods into the pile.

Taking off again, the green young woman headed toward the Loka Nei. The ash didn't interest her, so the plant was the only choice.
The arrival was anti-climatic, she expected greater resistance then one lone wolf that just vanished. Something has their attention, given the change in behavior. All the other sites had major actions of sabotage yet this one just goes without causing a fuss. This gave her pause, was this is the right one?
Deciding this was as much work as she wanted to put in, the nymph picked her bit before taking her morningstar to the rest. After that, she was off again.

Gathering the ingredients from the Pae'il, Takeko glanced between the piles and some notes on the parchment...then began preparing both to be added to the potions mixture. She pulled a few extra things, like small vials of water and neutral binding agents, adding, mixing, and adding again until the mixture began to look more like a potion than a mess of powders and herbs.
((Ha ha! Both were right! Points for everyone!))
Takeko had begun pouring off the potion into vials when a growing clamor became audible to those inside the mansion. Howls and sharp barks echoed over the marsh and the front door slammed open as the hooded hunter galloped into the main room. His cloak was shredded in some places, whether from teeth or claws, none could say. He halted with a clip-clopping sound, glancing back over his shoulder. "...I think I got their attention," he quipped lightly, heading for Takeko's table. "Potion ready?"
Somewhat alarmed by his dramatic arrival, Takeko nodded wide-eyed. "I was just...pouring it up..."
"Good job. They'll be here soon, so let me make sure everyone knows what's going on." The tattered cloak whirled, facing the crowd. "Your loved ones will be here soon. Remember, they are not themselves right now, so be aware of the danger! While they are your loved ones in physical form, they are not in action. The spirits are in control and they are both angry and afraid, because they know we have the cure in hand. We must be careful...but we must take action."
"Each of you will be given enough potion for five doses and no more. Application is simple enough, as all you need to do is pour it over the possessed Pae'il. Of course, this also involves getting close enough to do so without being injured OR missing. That is why we have so many doses. Simply uncork the vial and pour the potion over the targeted wolf. With all of us working together, we should have no trouble getting them all, even with a few misses."
Howls from the doorway and the sounds of claws clicking on the floor announced the arrival of the possessed Pae'il. Hurriedly, he finished, "Remember! Be careful, but be accurate. Your loved ones will be returned to you soon if we succeed!" With that, the first of the wolves stalked into the room, eyes fixed on the hunter with fury, later wolves seeming to hesitate at the sight of the Pae'il armed with vials...
Detailed Rules This portion of the game will proceed as follows: Once a day, for five days, you may attempt to cure one of the cursed Pae'il. To do so, you will roll 3 12-sided dice. The first die will correspond with one of the Pae'il wolves (numbers will be listed below). This is the Pae'il that you're attempting to cure for the day. The second die will correspond with YOUR number...the third die is the wolf's number. Possessed Pae'il 1. Alicia 2. Alister 3. Apollo 4. Aysu 5. Beldaran 6. Elizabeth 7. Faroth 8. Kali 9. Lhiannan Sidhe 10. Morena 11. Pastela 12. Sera
If your number is higher than the wolf's number, you succeed in pouring the potion over the Pae'il! Hoorah! You get 5 points for the day added to your total. If your number and the wolf's number are equal, you managed to get some potion on the wolf, but half of it ended up on the floor or elsewhere. Nice try, just watch your aim next time! You get 3 points added to your total for the day. If your number is smaller than the wolf's number, the possessed Pae'il succeeded in dodging your attempt completely. Don't give up, just keep trying! You'll get 1 point for the day in this case. If you fail to respond for the day, you get no points for not participating. You may not post twice one day to make up for missed days. If you miss a day, you missed it, just like the ingredient search. I might suggest doing your roll for the day, then going back to edit in your RP response afterwards IF you would like to RP appropriately with whatever the day's results are. Also, to help keep organized, I'll try to post a breaker between days to keep track, but if I don't and it's been more than a day since the last marker post, you may go ahead and post for the next day. Like the ingredients game, you may choose to post in your response which day you're posting for, if you want to be really nice to me and the staff tracking this. ^_^ The game starts now with the rest of tonight plus Friday as Day 1. NOTE: Wolves may be 'cured' more than once and by more than one person. So, just keep throwing potions and I'll be tracking which wolves are cured and how many times. Pretend the potion has a delayed reaction until we finish all five days. *wink*

Kieran grabs his potions and runs over to the nearest wolf in almost a berzerker rage. He uncorks the vial and prepares to dump it over its head, uttering a battle cry of "HYAAAH!"
:edit: [That's right. Berzerking = critical hit. Aw yeah.]
And the potion splatters directly on the furious wolf's snout. Kieran blinks. "Holy s**t, that worked!"
