Osero unceremoniously dumped the brace of fish onto one of the tables in his kitchen area and set the spear up against the wall. The rabbits he left looped to his belt. The weren't hindering him in any way, and besides, he wasn't leaving them here in any case. Moving over to the bucket of water, he plunged his hands and forearms into the cold liquid. Scrubbing quickly at the fur covering his arms and hands, he washed the slimy film off.
Pulling his hands back from the water, he gave them a vigourous shake, scattering tiny droplets. He then picked up a cloth from where it lay on the table, using it to dry his hands more thoroughly. His dark fur was still faintly damp, but not enough to affect anything.
Leaving the kitchen, the Aerandir came back through into the living area, looking around for Fae. Seeing that she was not in the cabin, he poked his head outside. Spotting the guardian up against the wall, he stepped out properly.
"Sorry to keep you waiting like that."

Fae shivered again as a cold night wind breeze sweapt past. She hugged her jar now that could keep her warm. Hearing Osero's voice suddenly made her jump slightly from such straining silence and snapped her head in his direction. "Oh, no, it's fine," she polietly spoke. "All clean?" She somewhat grined and looked at his hands.
She held the picture back up for him and leaned off from the wall the stand up straight. Even when she stood as tall as she could, he still was taller. x.x "Hey, can I ask you a couple questions..?" She asked shyly, giving a half smile.

The faint smile touching his face again, he took the drawing as carefully as he could. His hands were not delicate, being used to working with spears and blades rather than such fragile items. His gaze passed over it for a moment again. Never had somebody drawn for him before. He had a few photographs which had been given to him, but this was rather different, he knew.
As Fae speaks up again, the Aerandir looked at her, his expression suddenly changing to one of curiousity again.
"Of course. Go ahead."

Fae held back an amused giggle. She could tell he really liked it.
"Oh..well," she thought and digged for the questions again. "Were you the first Aerandir on Cetalu?" She asked all in one question. She thought he could answer a few more questions within the one she gave him without dumping more all onto him at once and embaressing herself.
Fae trompled the ground a bit in one position, switching onto her right foot and applying her body weight to it. She couldn't say she was exactly full of energy, but she would do anything to find out more about Osero and Aerandirs in perticular. And seeing how friendly and open this wolf/eagle was, she took her chance.

"The first? Oh, no. Rahujo is the eldest of all of us. I was born afterwards, and Acia last." After a moment, he corrected himself. "Of course.. she is not the youngest anymore.."

Fae cocked her head. "Ooh. Who's Acia?" Just then, she remembered the other shadow she saw earlier and the flicker of something in Alyosha's house. It all started to come together. "So...you wern't raised by one person," she thought aloud.
A great deal of curiosity was flowing through her before she bit her lip. "I'm sorry if I'm asking too much," she mumbled. "If you have any questions for me-" Who would want to even ask about her? She merely laughed mentally and meekly smiled at Osero. Her feet begun to get tired and she switched her weight to one foot again. "Pueblo should be due soon. I'm really excited. She's half wolf too, so maybe there's a few things I should know from a half wolf as yourself so I can better take care of her," she stated proudly.

"Acia is one of the other Aerandir. You don't see her around the village very much."
Glancing curiously at Fae as she asked the next question, the tall Aerandir shook his head, replying quietly. "No. I have no ....guardian, I believe they're called?"
"Half-wolf?" he smiled a little. Interesting... "I can't tell you much specifically. I don't remember much of my earliest days, and all Aerandir are different, just like humans are all different. All I can tell you is things that you no doubt already know. Pay lots of attention to her, teach her and guide her as she grows. You seem to care a lot about her and about the Aerandir, so I'm sure you'll do well."

Fae smiled widely and looked down to her jar warmly. "Of course," she murmured in a trance. She knew she had more questions for him, but they either slipped from her mind or just decided to wait for them. She was satisfied and didn't want to overwhelm him. Afterall, befriending an Aerandir is an accomplishment, she was starting to reconize him no more different than a big hairy person with wings.
"Well, I hope you like your sketch I did for you of you," she piped up and changed the topic. "It's getting later, and I should probably take Sage and Ombre back home," she sighed, wishing she didn't. "I hope I'll see you at the Valentine's party tomorrow?" This time, her smile was more relaxed and less formal- it was a smile behind the glasses, sort-of-speak.

Oseru nodded his head a little. "More than likely. I was going to head over to the community centre soon - I believe that the celebration may have started already."
"Thank you for the picture. Take care."
The wolf/eagle Aerandir smiled a little at the guardian. An impromptu meeting, but one that he had enjoyed. Now, he would have to store the fish away properly for now, and then drop off the rabbits before he could go to the party.

Nyxa Nyxa nodded, peering out at the horizon before twisting the kinks from her neck and glancing down at Luc. At the mention of Dri, Nyxa smiled, "Oh, she's doing okay. Typical preteen issues, you know. She'll grow out of them, I hope." Turning her attention back to her friend she smiled at Inle, "I'm glad Pavel likes the flower. Dri is impressed with my green-thumb, she likes my garden too." Luc's tail thrashed again, his comb bright red. Beady black eyes peered up at Inle, a low, odd purring sound escaping his little body. Now that Inle was put back in place he clambered into her lap and huffed quietly, almost begging for attention. Inle nodded sympathetically. "I'm sure it's not easy for her, being, ya know...the incarnation of lust and all. And so young, too, and around all those adorable boys!" Inle chuckled. "She's a great kid though, and I'm sure things will all work out in the end." Of course, Inle had no basis for this observation, but it felt somehow right to say. She blinked down at the little critter on her lap, beginning to pet it as one might a very small kitten.

Fae smiled in high hopes. "Oh, well, it's late and I'm sure more people will be appearing tomorrow. Who knows," she shrugged, suggesting her whereabouts.
Fae nodded and waved to Osero in farewell, adjusting her bag on her shoulder and starting to walk the way they had came in. As the open night sky opened up more, she looked behind her to the wolf/eagle Aerandir one last time, then walked slowly back home enjoying the fresh night air contently.

~o[Acia]o~ Nehanda circled around Acias head making her slightly dizzy in a pleasant way. Her white wings caught the light gloriously, lighting up in a soft manner and making her "glow". The gryphons neck twisted round, looking at her, giving an impression of extreme awkward odd-ness. Acia laughed despite herself and started to dart about, seeing if Nehanda could keep up.
((Shall we move to the general Cetalu thread? biggrin )) Nehanda quickly righted her head and hurried after Acia with an excited "merp!" The older Aerandir could move much more quickly, but the little gryphon flew gamely after. She couldn't wait to reach her gardens, to see what sort of spell-casting Acia would perform, but this was certainly a fun way to get there! Foenix followed slowly behind, happy to see Nehanda so enthusiastic. Acia's laughter was refreshing to hear as she led Nehanda on a fun little chase. All sorts of questions were flying through her head about Acia's life, and there were many pertaining to general Aerandir growth. Perhaps, once Acia was finished in the garden, she'd be feeling relaxed enough to answer some of them.

Racing on ahead with Nehanda, they quickly came to Foenix's door. Having been there before she had no trouble finding it again. She stopped, quickly catching her breath and waited for Foenix to catch up to them. She didn't know what it was. the motherly influence of Foenix, the little gryphons antics or her own love of the soil which was making her feel very.. buoyant.

Foenix grinned and hastened her steps to catch up with the two Aerandir. "Well, welcome to our humble home," she said to Acia as they all reached the front porch. she was about to continue, when a flutter of red wings beside the door caught her eye. Foenix looked up, past Acia and Nehanda, and gaped at the adorable little cherub sitting on her doorstep. "Um, Acia, it looks like there's someone waiting for me. Why don't I have Nehanda show you over to the garden while I go see who that is? Sorry, I hate to be rude, but she looks like she's been waiting for a while." Nehanda merped loudly and began to fly clumsy loop-the-loops toward the east end of the house. Yes! Her garden was waiting for them! Foenix walked up to the child. "Hi there. Can I help you?" The little girl giggled and held out a note. "I'm Nahda!" she piped in a high-pitched voice. The Letter Dear Foenix, I couldn't help but purchase this little beauty for you, in the good festivities of Valentine's Day. I hope that she makes a good guardian for Nehanda, and I hope that you and I get to meet each other again. It was only for a brief spell we talked last! Happy Valentine's Day! Sincerly, Dragonfly Foenix's eyes widened, and she nodded slowly. "Um, okay. Well, welcome to our family, sweetie. Would you like to meet some of the others?" Nahda nodded, and they crossed over to where Nehanda was flying eagerly around her garden plots.

Acia nodded and followed Nehanda. The came around to a reasonably sized patch of land. It was obvious from Nehanda's excitement that she very much loved her garden. Acia's eyes followed her as she darted over various sections, a plan seemed to be in her mind as to how she wanted the garden to be.
