I meant to say It Moved in, sorry.

I just annoyed because I only had one Pokemon that could breath underwater, so I wondered, why not change the battlefield?

Ah, that makes more sense. Like I've said twice now, and have been told plenty of times before, reading it over can remove mistakes like that, which, in the higher levels, can get you a failing grade. I've had many examples of this sweatdrop

And again, change of battlefield is pretty unique. Good job.

Arekku landed in Hearthome City, somewhere he’d been quite often before joining with Team Aqua, but today he had tickets to get in to and watch a contest. Every step he took brought even more excitement to him, and who knew, maybe he might get a few ideas from the performances by the contestants. As he entered the arena he overheard someone arguing the woman behind the counter.
“What do you mean I can’t participate!? I’ve trained my pokemon so hard to be in this competition, and you say I can’t participate because I don’t have a pass!? Grrr, Cacturne, Pin Missile!” Arekku interjected, “Kari, use Flamethrower!” He tossed the pokemon and immediately his Combuskin shot a Flamethrower to knock the Cacturne off balance and the Pin Missile off course.
“Hey, what’s your problem?!” The girl practically screamed at Arekku
“You have to have a Sinnoh Contest pass to participate; attacking the staff won’t get you one!” He retorted angrily, “If you really wanna take your anger out on someone, let’s battle right here right now!”
“Eh, not here, please?” The woman on the staff pleaded, Arekku nodded, “We battle outside!” The girl grumbled something inaudible and followed.

Outside as the two stood across from each other a crowd gathered around them, watching to see who will take the first move. The two called out attacks at the same time, “Kari, Sky Uppercut!” ”Cacturne, Needle Arm!” Kari and Cacturne dashed at each other, their arms glowing, Kari dipped down bringing her fist up into the mid section of Cacturne causing its attack to miss and sending it soaring straight up with the super effective attack to crash near its trainer.
“Cacturne!!” The girl yelled after the pokemon. Arekku looked at her, “Don’t harass the staff again…” He and Kari was about to walk away, but the battle wasn’t over like they thought. Cacturne got up and its trainer called, “Reverse!”

Kari had just turned around when she was nailed by the doubly powerful attack. Luckily, Kari had a resistance to Fighting type attacks, but it still hurt her pretty bad. As she came around toward the ground Arekku yelled, “Fire Spin!” Kari angled herself to use a Fire Spin to keep herself from crashing into the ground and land gracefully on her feet into the center of a circle of flames. “Alright, now use Slash!” Kari leaped into the air, twisting, bringing the flames up in a vortex around her until the peak of the jump. The enemy followed her movements, but as soon as Kari leaped it was too late, the sun glared around Kari’s form, temporarily blinding it, the Slash came down across a sensitive area, causing a Critical amount of damage.

The Cacturne fell to the ground, unconscious, and its trainer groaned, returning her pokemon. ”Whatever, I didn’t want to enter this stupid contest anyway…” and she walked away. Arekku sighed looking at Kari, “You did a great job Kari.”
“Ahahaa! C'est magnifique!” A new voice entered the scene, “You have great talent monsieur! I would like to see more, s'il vous plaît!” Arekku looked on as a woman in a purple ball gown approached him, “Je suis Fantina, Hearthome City’s Gym Leader!” She paused for it to sink it, “What would your name be, monsieur?”
“My name? Oh, my name is Arekku Negi of-… Solaceon Town.” Arekku spoke, suddenly nervous to be talking to Fantina.
“Let’s have a contest battle, right here, right now! We begin with the appeal round!” Fantina threw down a challenge to Arekku, which was too good to resist.

“Alright then! Let’s go!” Arekku withdrew Kari, of course he didn’t have any seals on him now so it wouldn’t be of any use to ask for a moment of preparation. “Okay lets set the stage, Stormy! Mist!” Instead of Stormy coming out of a pokeball, it looked like someone had used a bunch of White Smoke seals on one ball capsule, “Now use Dragon Dance! “ Movement of a strange dance could be sensed behind the thick curtain of Mist. Dragonic energy that was produced moved the mist in a very slow swirling fashion. “Stormy, use Sing.” Stormy produced a noise from his mouth that was oddly soothing, music notes began tumbling out. “Stormy, Dragonbreath straight up!” Arekku’s odd colored pokemon shot an odd green flame threw the top of the light mist, at first carrying with it the water particles, but soon the curtain became to heavy and turned the flame into a fountain, green fire raining down around the now very thin cloud. Catching the dancing music notes and lighting them up to make multicolored flames. “And now for the dramatic finish, Steel Wing.” Stormy’s Wing turned a light gray and he swung the heavy mass, clearing my rest of the mist and blowing out the disappearing music notes which, in turn, smoked to add a finalized effect. Arekku and Stormy bowed.

“Vraiment magnifique!” A nearly stunned Fantina spoke through the applauding crowd, “But now it is my turn! Prenez la scène, Mismagius!” Her mood calmed right away as the Mismagius entered the scene, “Lucky Chant, s'il vous plaît?” The Mismagius twirled once looking up at the sky, chanting something inaudible, strange symbols appeared in a circle around the pokemon. They were glowing, slowly moving up and away from Mismagius, “Psywave, Si vous volonté.” Mismagius concentrated sending barely visible waves to the symbols, which exploded into glittering dust, “Finish with Icy Wind, s’il vous plaît.” The pokemon nodded and lowered herself to the ground, lightning fast she rushed upward, causing an Icy updraft which froze the dust. The dust fell into and around the crowd as a soft snowfall. The two bowed to the crowd, who in turn went crazy.

“Maintenant pour la finale!” Fantina smiled at Arekku, “Are you ready?” Arekku thought about this battle.
“Not only are you a very talented coordinator, you’re the gym leader. I will not know what to expect, but I will give it my all… Are you ready Stormy?” Arekku asked his Altaria, who nodded with a look of determination. Arekku looked back across the field to Fantina, “We’re ready.” He stated with a nod.
“Hahaha! Let’s give this crowd a Contest Battle to remember!” Fantina shouted, “Mismagius! Use your Psywave to begin things!” The snow continued to fall from the place the Lucky Chant was destroyed, it showed the path of the psychic attack, but it seemed to come from multiple locations, it was a trick. “Stormy! Take to the sky!” The Altaria was able to lift his wings and get off of the ground but a strong wave came from above forcing him back down to the ground, hurting pretty badly. If this had been an actual contest battle Arekku would have lost some serious points.

“It is hard to tell where the Psywave is coming from, no? Particulièrement when it’s snowing and the attack déforme la lumière, or distorts light, as Psywave does! Hahaha! ”, Fantina chuckled behind her hand, “Now, Mismagius, if you would, use your Icy Wind attack?” The jewel on Mismagius’ chest lit up a light blue and a frigid blast of air whipped across the field at Stormy, “Stormy, Dragon Dance!” He yelled, hoping his pokemon would know what to do. And as luck would have it Stormy began dodging the whips of icy air by gracefully dancing around them. He was sure that Fantina would be loosing a few points by now, but didn’t think it would be enough to get him back to the top, “Une technique parfaite!” By now the snow had finished, but Fantina’s plans had not, “But this is over. As your Altaria had been dancing, the energy he built up caused the snow to drift toward him. As the energy melted the snow, the Icy Wind refroze it on the ground all around your Pokémon’s feet.” Arekku was stunned that she was that talented, then again, Fantina wasn’t a gym leader for nothing, “Icy Wind again, s’il vous plaît.” Mismagius’ jewel turned a light blue again and the frigid air shot across the field again, “Stormy use Dragonbreath!” A stream of green flame met with the blast of cold air, but Storm began to loose his balance so he planted his foot behind him. As fate would have it, he stepped right down on a sheet of ice and slipped. His attack failed and the Icy Wind hit him hard, Arekku was sure his points would have hit rock bottom if Stormy hadn’t fainted with that hit. “Stormy!!” Arekku cried out and ran to his pokemon, “Are you alright?” He asked lifting his Pokémon’s cyan face. Stormy nodded and chirped apologetically. “You did great Stormy, you should rest now.” Arekku held up a pokeball to return Stormy.

Even though the crowd was roaring in excitement, the voice of Fantina was enough to calm them down. “Quiet Mesdames et Messieurs, I still need to do something and you will all bare witness.” Fantina slowly walked over to Arekku, Mismagius floating right next to her. “I would like you to have this.” She held a card toward him, “Take this contest pass, I’ve been giving them to those who prove that they are able to compete realistically in contest battles.“ Arekku stood up and reached out to take the pass, not knowing what to say. “The girl you defeated before was one of the trainers I thought still needed something. I told her to come and try again and she stormed off, saying nothing. But you, you were able to think on your feet and the feet of your pokemon. So now that you are an official Coordinator, I hope to see you rise quickly to great heights.”

After Arekku healed up his pokemon, he was able to make it to the contest stands just in time to see the beginning of appeal rounds, there was a warm feeling in his gut that told him that the next time he was at a contest, he would be performing.

-I wasn’t sure how to word one part in the first paragraph so it might sound a little off.
-Yes, that is French that I used, I actually studied up on Fantina’s character and found that she speaks French integrated with English. Hehe, for that I used Google’s Translator.
-Kari should now have enough Evo Points to evolve into a Blaziken, so I ask for permission to evolve it.

My mind may be wondering, but I confess, I believe it is Old Deuteronomy!

The only problem I really saw was the first battle. Reversal is a Fighting type move, and Kari is a Fire type. So Reversal wouldn't be super-effective. I think you meant to say something along the lines of "Reversals power was doubled due to Cacturne being injured before use" or something.

Other than that, I liked it. French isn't anywhere near my language, so I had fun guessing what Fantina said XD I pass this mission with flying colors. I also approve Kari's evolution and award you 950 PD along with the Contest Pass. Welcome to the Class system.

“Finally!”

Memo, a young 17 year old Team Aqua operative, was excited as he received some amazing news on his TADS. His excited eyes quickly sped-read the message.

“Fantina…only known…one day…contest pass!”

And with that the boy was off to Hearthome with a resolve that could not be swayed. He traveled over there on his trusty Skarmory’s back. It didn’t take him long to get there, after all he had many adventures to and from there…including those that involved contests.

“Ok so now all we have to find is…”
“GRAH!”

The boy and his Skarmory looked down to see a disgruntled boy huffing and puffing away as he stormed out away from whom else, but Fantina! Memo’s mind was set on going right after Fantina, but seeing someone that hurt and mad…he just had to try and help. He motioned for Catelynn, his Skarmory, to go fly down towards the boy. As they made their way over Memo was able to see the boy very clearly now. He had red hair, it was spiky and the hair by the right side of his ear was longer than the left. He also had just one wisp of his bangs flying off. He was just as tall as Memo, if not even taller, but just by an inch.

“H-Hey.”

Memo said as he jumped off Catelynn. The red headed boy turned with a look of dismay and simply greeted Memo with a nod and mumble.

“You ok?”
“Yea…I just got beat by Fantina is all.”

The two boys spoke for quite a bit. They sat down on a nearby bench and listened to each other. Fantina, unbeknownst to both the boys was just strolling by and watched everything. The red head introduced himself as Vincent, Vince for short. He explained his appeal and battle with Fantina.

“Yea…she said that moves were to flashy and overshadowed my Pokémon’s real natural talent and beauty.”

Memo listened intently and gave a nervous gulp. He nodded and then gave Vince a sweet smile and thumbs up. He had a plan.

“Hey now come on hehe. There’s always second chances ok? Tell ya what…”

Memo rose up and stretched as Vince simply stood and grinned.

“Ok so what’s up?”
"I'm about to go take my shot at Fantina right now ok. If I win then that means you can't give up until you win also?"

Vince gave another awkward smile and giggle as he scratched his head. I mean honestly here is this boy offering deals and words of encouragement even though he had no idea who he was. Vince was about to respectfully decline Memo and be on his way, but as soon as he opened his eyes he was met with a warm smile and cheerful eyes. Something within him made him change his mind and he agreed to Memo's deal, reluctantly. Fantina had watched everything that had happened before her and gave a happy smile with a sigh as she quickly scurried away...2 Contest Passes in hand.

"Ok hehe! Then let's go!"
"S-Sure."

So then both Vince and Memo made their ways towards where Fantina was. A park where a crowd of people now were to watch Fantina and her challengers.

"Hello? Is there no one who wants to try their luck haha!"

Memo and Vince both gave one last look at each other and a fist pound before Memo made his way into the crowd and raised his hand.

"I would."

The crowd parted and averted their gaze to this young boy who happily walked, almost skipped, his way towards Fantina. Fantina, the Gym Leader and Coordinator extraordinaire, gave a sly grin as she slowly walked to meet this boy. Her dress swayed elegantly as she extended her arm to Memo.

"Bonjour my friend. And may I have your name?"

Memo shook her hand with enthusiasm and grace.

"My name is, Memo Hanabari."
"Then let us waste no time haha!"

Fantina gave a spin and ended up on her side of the field. Soon after that little movement the crowd went wild while Vince, Memo, and even Fantina herself sighed. The Aqua Sergeant quickly responded with a series of back handsprings to land on his side. The crowd was shocked and again they cheered. Vince just gave an interesting smile and watched the contest that was about to unfold.

"Très bien! Now let's go straight into the appeal. I shall give you first showing hehe."
"Understood hehe."

Memo and Vince both knew that Fantina wasn't expecting much anymore, but Memo wasn't about to give up.

"Kokiri! Charm up!"

Memo grabbed Bellsprout's pokeball, gave a quick spin and wink, kissed the ball, then flung it out. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was shocked that this boy held his composure and confidence in the face of Fantina. Vince was now at the front of the crowd facing Memo with intent eyes. Fantina's interest was now peaked and she gave another sly grin as she acknowledged that this time things would be different.

"Ahhh.."

Right after Kokiri's ball was flung it opened and revealed a Pink Heart Seal and the Bellsprout himself. Kokiri twirled out of his ball and landed gracefully with a pose. The large single pink heart was was spinning with amazing speed in the sky. This caused a little pink glitter to shower off from it. Memo and Kokiri just smiled.

"Don't blink..."

And with that Bellsprout shot out it's vines like a bullet to catch the heart right above his head and ensnare it within his vines. Right after he raised his head and shot out a stream of Stun Spore that collided with the heart bring pulled in to create a fountain effect over Kokiri. A glittering veil of golden glitter was now cascaded over him and lingered. It continued with a Swords Dance. Kokiri did a warrior like dance with the heart remaining in his vines from the safety of the veil and raised it's attack tremendously. It stopped suddenly in another pose and now had the heart directly in front of his body, the vines now completely covered the heart. A few seconds of suspense passed and then with the added power from the Swords Dance Kokiri crushed the heart and it popped almost instantly! This created an explosion effect that made the pink glitter collide with the veil of golden gust. The cloud of glittery powder was now falling from all directions.

"Razor Leaf!"

Kokiri swiftly spun in place and released a barrage of leaves that ripped through the glistening cloud leaving only crescents of the powder in the air to create an alluring and mysterious environment around Kokiri.

"Aha! That was great!"

Memo ran over to his Bellsprout and embraced him as the crowd cheered loudly. Vince was simply amazed at the appeal and clapped with an astonished face. Fantina clapped as well and closed her eyes as she spoke.

"Le moment suprême! Everything was just so alluring and magnificent!"

Memo blushed along with Kokiri and giggled.

"But it is now my turn! Gengar! Allure!"

Fantina sent out her pokeball with a Purple Line Seal attached to it. She gave a quick dance and with then as elegant as a ballroom dancer she did a backbend and raised her hand send the ball out upwards. The seal activated and everyone's eyes widened. The Purple Line Seal was sent down as the ball opened dramatically. Gengar menacingly stood on top of a spiraling barber shop type of pattern that the seal created. Soon after if jumped in and was now at the base, hovering inched from the ground.

"Magnifique! Now Hypnosis!"

Gengar closed it's eyes and released a steady stream of soothing waves into the purple lines sending red pulses into the spinning structure that acted almost like a signal tower cause the Hypnosis was traveling upwards and out from the pinnacle of the structure. For a few moments all that could be seen was a very calming and and almost trance inducing pattern that spiraled and shout out reddish waves into the sky.

"Gengar...vas-y!"

Gengar, without hesitation, responded with a quick and powerful Shadow Punch that connected with the spirals and almost seemed to cause a malfunction! The lines were now sparking a bright purple and violently pulsating between their normal color and black. The waves of Hypnosis that were being sent out stopped abruptly and now what could be seen from the top was a ball of energy that seemed to grow as with the pulsing. Soon the spiraling structure was now all black and sparking purple.

"Hypnosis..."

Gengar shot out one last Hypnosis that was aimed at the mass of energy at the top. Sure enough it exploded due to an overload of energy! Masses of what seemed like black glass fell from the sky and around Gengar making it's red eyes and bright smile glisten as the reflected off, not to mention the explosion caused a trickling of dark glitter to fall down as well. The crowd was now rabid! They were cheering and hollering as loud as Explouds with issues. Both Vince and Memo were speechless and all they could do was watch as Fantina waved and absorbed all the applause that was being thrown at her.

"Go Memo!"

The crowd hushed to hear something other than Fantina being yelled and all eyes were now on Vince and his friend. Fantina gave a chuckle and and smile"

"Yes! Our challenger has done well no?"

As she started to clap for Memo the crowd went along and Memo and Vince blushed as Kokiri just waved. Fantina once again gave the same smile and sigh from earlier while she watched the boys. She closed her eyes and held her chest for a moment before bursting out into an energetic laugh.

"Ok! Let's not waste time mademoiselles and monsieures! Onto the battle!"
"Ok hehe."
"Good luck."

The contest battle between Memo and Fantina was over quickly. She was just to powerful to overcome for a rookie like Memo. Fantina and Gengar ended it with a with a quick spin and flick of the wrist. Memo and Kokiri only landed a couple of hits. None the less the battle finished and Fantina and was now praising her Gengar as the crowd once again cheered, but amidst all the crowds cheering and yelling Fantina again noticed the boys. Vince had ran over to Memo's side to, this time, to give him and his Bellsprout words of encouragement. This sight made Fantina's eyes well up with tears but she simply wiped them away and walked over to the boys.

"Now zis is what I'm talking about. This is the true meaning of beauty!"

The boys, along with the crowd were all dumbstruck as Fantina walked forward with 2 Contest Passes in her hand.

"But why? We didn't win."
"Yeah. We had to prove our beauty to you and I know that I lost epically."

Vince nodded along with Memo. The 2 boys finally noticed that the crowd was silent. Their eyes were set like glue on them and Fantina.

"True beauty does not involve winning or flashy moves. True beauty comes from right here. Zis."

She pointed to her heart and continued to speak again.

"You two young men have shown that beauty ever since you two met."
"Wait you mean you were there?"
"Watching us!?"

Fantina nodded and gave an embarrassed giggle and had to explain that it was a complete accident, but how she was glad it happened. She was able to watch the true meaning of beauty being displayed. The act of kindness to a stranger, acceptance of genuine help, being one's self, and making a friend along the way. She held out the Passes with a kind smile and walked away, the crowd still in shock and Vince and Memo speechless.

"We..."
"Did it..."
"We did it!"

Memo and Vince jumped up happily as the crowd went along with them. Congratulating them and complimenting the battles and appeals they had made. Kokiri was still quite oblivious, but didn't want to be a Buzz Killington, so just cheered as well. The boys were so proud of each other that when they turned to thank Fantina she was gone. The party was now over and both boys parted ways with the days events forever painted in their heads. Fantina was now back in her Gym and recalled Memo's and Vince's face.

"Do well you two..."

Yeah, I'm just going to come right out and say it, Welcome to Level 1. It was an excellent mission with a few minor grammatical errors. The only part I had a peeve about was you not describing the battle, I wanted to know what happened next. Haha. But, this mission did not require a battle per-say, so I'll let it slide.

Take 950 PD, the Contest Pass and your new level.

MISSION- Birch's First Break-in
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Prof. Birch's lab in Littleroot and steal one of his three pokemon (Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip). You must sneak in at night. But don't get caught by Prof. Birch or his assistant. At some point you must battle the pokemon you stole/are stealing, if you want to catch it.

Pokemon:
Treecko
Torchic
Mudkip

Funds upon completion: 300

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ryder looked at his TADS and found he needed to steal a Pokémon from Professor Birch. He hoped into the teleporter and teleported to Littleroot Town. “Here I am, in Littleroot, can’t wait to get me a little Torchic of my own.” He said quietly before snickering.

Ryder decided to scope out Birch and his assistant’s actions. He watched when they ate, when they slept, and when the Pokémon were alone. He scoped the place out for about a day, only stopping to eat with his Pokémon in the trees. He sent Hocus out and had him teleport over to the laboratory. He attached a little camera to Hocus and told him to teleport out of there at the first sign of trouble. Ryder was doing and unnecessary amount of recon before this mission. He brought his Pokémon and told them everything he had learned. “Okay, so they sleep from 11:32 PM to 7: 45 AM, they eat at 7:45 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:23 PM. They leave the lab at about 9:00 PM regularly checking in on the lab. I should sneak around in through the window anywhere between 11:00 PM and 2:15 AM. Hocus, you teleport into the lab and take the sleeping Torchic, then teleport back into the woods. By this time, it should probably be awake, so Woopa, I’m gonna need you to battle it with your water attacks. Squirt, you’re back up, so be on your toes.”

At 11:45 PM, Ryder decided to execute the plan. He went deep into the woods and brought out Hocus. “Alright, you know what to do, use teleport!” Hocus teleported into Birch’s lab and grabbed a sleeping Torchic. Afterwards the Mudkip and Treecko awoke and started to freak out, but it was too late for Hocus had teleported back. With the Torchic back, Ryder sent out Woopa.

“Woopa, use your water gun now!” Woopa shot out water from its mouth straight at Torchic. The Torchic retaliated in a peck that brought Woopa to its tail.

“Alright Woopa, let’s try to do this one more time, use WATER GUN!” This time Woopa shot out a bigger blast of water, yet not terribly big. At the same the Torchic shot out at flamethrower that seemed to hold its own against the water gun until it finally gave out. Ryder threw out a Pokéball to catch Torchic. Torchic was seemingly caught, but it broke out after three shakes! The Torchic busted out and pecked Woopa and Woopa fell back harder.

“WOOPA, LET’S DO THIS! USE POUND!” Ryder shouted as he was noticeably getting aggravated with the Torchic. Woopa hopped onto its feet and charged at Torchic and pounded it. Torchic had given up at this point and Ryder threw another Pokéball, this time catching the Torchic. He grabbed the Pokéball.

“I’m gonna call you Blow Torch.” He said returning everyone to their Pokéball except Hocus, who he told to teleport them back to the base. But before he left, he wrote a note stating, “Shazow!” and leaving it on a table of Birch’s before teleporting back to base from the lab.

Hmmm, well, this is rather short for even a beginner mission, and there wasn't much of a story, not a problem, even with an Abra, but make things a little more exciting if you wouldn't mind, please? things like that make for a boring read.

Now as for your Avo points, your Woopa gets one, but your Hocus (Which I guess is an Abra) does not. He didn't play that huge of a role.
Also, if you wouldn't mind, please make something of an effort to tell what your pokemon's species is? It helps us graders. Thank you.

This IS an easy mission so I'll give you that. Not all graders are as picky as I am so don't be worried about some of the others.

New Torchic and 300PD granted. Congratulations.

My mind may be wondering, but I confess, I believe it is Old Deuteronomy!

It had been a while since I did a mission for Aqua, so I decided to start small. As I ran on the outskirts of Rustboro, I look watched my target from afar, Devon Corp. Two guards stood outside the front entrance talking amongst themselves. The only explanation for their presence would be the new DS units they received. I was able to sneak around the back and to my surprise no was there. But it could be the possibility that someone was on the other side of the door. I crouched and made my way toward the door. I stood to the side of the door. I called out Jigglypuff. She wobbled over to my leg her Silk Scarf, swaying in the night air. She looked up at me with her big eyes awaiting her command. “I want you to use sing, but sing it so that whoever is inside can hear you”. A smile swept across her face. I quickly pulled out my MP3 player and turned up the volume to the maximum level so I would not hear her. I looked at her as I saw her lips move. She danced and twirled as she did her number. When she was done she nodded. I took out my headphones and shoved the player in my pocket. I proceeded to open the door, but it was locked. I shook my head; this was something I should have checked before acting. I called Jigglypuff back and proceeded to the front of the building. The two security guards were sprawled out on the floor snoozing away. I quickly went to them and looked around to make sure no one was watching. I fished inside their pockets until I found a ring of keys. One of the guards grunted and scratched his face. I stood still until I was certain he was still in his slumber. I then hastily tried the keys until the right one unlocked the door. I quickly opened the door and closed it behind me.

Once inside only a few lights were on. Two more guards were sprawled out on the floor. I smiled and darted over to the front desk and looked at the building plan. Shipping and Receiving – 3rd floor. That is where I needed to go. I started for the steps and slowly ascended. When I got to the second level there was no one insight, nothing but a bunch of desks, a few desk lamps were still on. I looked around and saw the next door leading to the next staircase. I looked back downstairs to make sure I didn’t hear anything. I walked to the door and slowly opened it. I forgot to use my hand to stop it from slamming. When it did I froze for a moment. Nothing happened and no alarms went off. I was still in the clear. I ran up the stairs two by two, slowly opening the door and to my luck, five more sleeping guards. And at the far wall was a bunch of boxes. It looked like something out of a movie. I tip toed and walked over the guards and picked up a box. I cradled it under my arm and mad my way back downstairs. I pushed open the main doors and there was a security guard trying to rouse the other two. He looked up and saw the box in my hand. “So you are the cause of this” he said pulling out a pokeball. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way” he said. I threw out starly’s pokeball. The security smiled. This is what he wanted it seemed. He sent out a Pidgey.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've graded a mission. >-<

Overall, it was pretty good. Admittedly a bit short since I've seen some of your other missions, but it's level one so that slides by just fine. There were no major flaws in the battle that I could tell, either. The main thing I had a problem with was that, in the mission, it specifically states that you can't be seen by someone. Technically, you didn't fill out the mission objective there. If you're going to do something like that in the future (and I know this gets said a lot, but I'm going to say it anyway~) please add more story. But, all-in-all, it was a passing mission.

Keep the 1000 and evo points for your pokemon. ^_^

How to Become a Nurse
Mission: A Nurse and her Happiny

Every nurse needs a Happiny that will follow them and serve their every whim when it comes to medical needs. This Happiny will grow with the nurse as they become closer and better in the profession of nursing.

Objectives:
- Go find a Happiny and bond with it creatively.
- Fight and capture the Happiny

Rewards:
- Nurse Rank lvl 1: First-aid Responder + 500 PD
---------------------------------------------------------

Ryder has had one dream throughout his life, to help Pokémon and people alike. Ryder decided he could do this by becoming a nurse for Team Aqua, which is one of the many reasons he joined. After completing a few missions, he decided he should try the mission to become a nurse, he should go find Happiny! Now he sets off on his adventure to catch Happiny and become a nurse…

Ryder was sitting in HQ on couch and decided to not be lazy and do something today, catch Happiny. He looked into his TADS to find out where a Happiny would and picked the place he’d most enjoy going to. He sent out his Abra, his personal form of transportation, to go to the Trophy Garden in Sinnoh.

Upon entering the Trophy Garden, Ryder kept Abra out but made sure to not make too much noise or be seen. Ryder again looked into his TADS to see what to do for this mission. Happiny needed to be bonded with Ryder creatively and then needed to be caught. Abra, named Hocus, thought for a second before teleporting away.

“Hocus, where in the world are you?!” Ryder would exclaim as he saw Hocus gone. Then, from nowhere, Hocus appeared again but with an object in his hand. Ryder took the object before reading the label to figure out what it was.

“Slaking Glue, so strong it’ll always bond.” Ryder read aloud. “That’s not the creative bonding I meant Hocus, I meant something like, arts and crafts or song and dance. Well… If we do arts and crafts that might work. So… Great job Hocus, that sure was smart thinking! But we need to find the Happiny first. Ryder then set off looking around for the Happiny he so desperately needed. After hours of looking, he started to get hungry. “Hocus, do me a favor? Go to HQ and get a picnic basket so we can eat out here. I’m starting to get hungry and I know you are too.” With that being said, Hocus teleported away. While he was gone, a wild Pichu appeared. From in the bushes you could see a Happiny spying on Ryder and the Pichu ready to attack. Knowing Pichu was electric, Ryder had the perfect Pokémon n store for Pichu, his Wooper named Woopa.

“Go Woopa! Let’s do this!” Ryder said as he sent out his Wooper, Woopa. Pichu, being the faster of the two decided to be irrational and start with a ThunderShock, mainly because it’s the only move he knew to attack. Woopa, being part ground was not affected by the attack.

“Woopa, use Mudshot now!” Ryder knew the ground attack should be super effective against the electric type Pichu. The Mudshot connected, sending the Pichu to the ground. The Pichu arose trying for another ThunderShock, again it connected, yet again, it did not work.

“Alright Woopa, let’s go for another Mudshot right now buddy!!” Ryder exclaimed for Woopa to attack. The Mudshot yet again connected. Pichu was almost out now, he realized his mistakes… Pichu tried a Quick Attack. The attack connected sending Woopa down. This was not for long though for Woopa hadn’t taken much damage.

Ryder was ready to end this, eat, and get Happiny. “Woopa, let’s do this one more time, Mudshot!” Woopa shot out a bunch of mud from his mouth straight at Pichu. Pichu fainted on the spot while Woopa fell down, finally done with that battle.

By this time, Hocus had come back with the picnic basket. Ryder laid out a blanket for everyone to sit on. Ryder let all Pokémon out so they could eat in the beautiful scenery. They were half way through their food when out from the bushes came Happiny. It seems that Happiny had watched the battle and seemed to like Ryder a tad. Ryder tried to lure Happiny over with some food. Ryder then looked at Hocus and whispered something into the ear of Hocus, “Go get some construction paper, scissors, a guitar, and some bongos.” Hocus then disappeared before coming back with all the objects. He put everyone but Hocus in their Pokéballs and put a piece of paper and a pair of scissors in front of the Happiny. The Happiny then started to cut out paper snowflakes. Ryder and Hocus both cut out little Happinys and played and talked with them.

“Happiny, Hap, Hap!” Ryder said with his little cut out.

“Hap, Hap! HAPPINY” Hocus joked playing with his cut out.

The Happiny saw this and thought it was fun so joined in. After about an hour of just doing that, they moved to the instruments. Hocus went to the bongos and started playing them while Ryder played guitar. The Happiny started dancing around to the little song Ryder and Hocus were playing. The Happiny had a big smile on its face. Now Ryder knew he should try to catch it.

“Alright Happiny, I’ll try not to hurt you, but I gotta catch you.” With that being said, he sent Hocus out to battle. The Happiny was ready to fight as well. Ryder has studied up on Happiny and all of its evolutions and knew it didn’t have a high attack, defense, or special attack. He knew what to do for this battle.

“Alright Hocus, let’s start this off with a strong Psychic!” Hocus lifted the Happiny into the air before slamming it down to the ground with a powerful psychic move. Happiny made its way to its feet and charged at Hocus hitting a Pound attack. With Hocus being an Abra who have low defense, that hurt more than it should.

“It’s alright Hocus, let’s try to heal you up a little. Use Drain Punch, go!” Ryder knew this fighting move would be a big hit on the normal type Pokémon with the low defense. Abra hit the Drain Punch giving him a little extra health while hurting Happiny a lot. Happiny again got up charging for a Pound. The Pound hit Hocus and sending him rolling. Hocus hopped back up.

“Use Drain Punch again Hocus, this should help us get him!” Hocus charged at the Happiny with a Drain Punch once again, this time Happiny was down, but not out, yet. Happiny rolled trying to get up by rolling. Ryder saw this as his chance to catch Happiny. He threw a Pokéball at the Happiny in an attempt to catch it. The ball shook a couple of times before a little red dot appeared and the Happiny had been caught.

“Yes! YES! YES! I CAN BE A NURSE! I CAN HELP EVERYONE OUT! GREAT JOB HOCUS YOU WERE AMAZING!” Ryder exclaimed in excitement over the fact he not only caught Happiny, but can now become a Team Aqua nurse. He put the Happiny Pokéball in his belt and used Hocus to teleport back to HQ where he’d heal his Pokémon and go back to the same couch he was sitting on before he left to take another nap.

(You will face 4 goons and the Leader)

Makuhita

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because Tommy had passed his first mission to stop an evil gym leader, he was sent another mission to keep him busy. Tommy's eyebrow arched at the missions title and overview, and he smiled.
"Really? Another one of these guys? Meh, I guess I have to. At least I get paid!" he thought like a true mercenary. Kind of. With that thought fresh in his mind, Tommy set off with a rhythm to his step. Eventually, he finished packing with a quick trip to his room, and hurried down to the Aqua Hatch. As soon as he could, he burst out of the hatch that was closest to Dewford, and sped along the ocean current to make up as much time as possible.

Just like his initial underwater trip to Rustboro, Tommy frequented the water in regular intervals, always taking longer breaths each time, and coming up a little later. So, I guess saying the regular intervals wasn't, or at least isn't any longer, true. About three-quarters of the way to the small island town, Tommy took an underwater break, and lazed about. Tommy got tired of his boring mode of underwater travel, and decided to call on a Pokémon: that wasn't his own. He would fight a Pokémon underwater, try and control it, then have it bring him to Dewford the rest of the way. Tommy thought the plan was brilliant. After one last resurface, Tommy inhaled deeply, and dove under to set to work.

Tommy swam around in the salty waters looking for any Pokémon that would suit him well. He spotted a Gorebyss and Huntail. As he approached, the Huntail bared its teeth, and the Gorebyss swam up as fast as a torpedo and rammed it's snout into Tommy's torso. Tommy released all his pent up breath, and sucked a bit of water into his throat as he surfaced. After a bit of coughing, and a five minute break for a breather, Tommy repeated, and dove for a second time. Tommy waited for some amount of time, until spotting a Sharpedo. Tommy let that go, and resurfaced. Tommy repeated his dive twice more. The first, or third time, rather, he had looked for a suitable ride, but couldn't find a Pokémon good enough for the long ride and his load. Finally, he spotted a Wailmer.

Here, Wailmy-wailmy-Wailmer... Tommy thought. Wailmer playfully swam over, and Tommy grabbed the top of its head. There was no struggle, and Tommy smiled. Patting it on the head, Tommy was about to point toward the general direction of Dewford when the ball-like whale suddenly swam away, catching Tommy off guard. Tommy felt the waters go dark, and turned around to see Wailord rushing at him. "Crah!!!" Roughly translated, "Crap!!!". Don't forget, he's underwater at the moment. Tommy swam up and away as fast as he could, and reached the surface. The Whale Pokémon breached right under him and Water Spouted Tommy where he stood.
"AI-YAAAAAAA!!!" Tommy bellowed (though it sounded like Jackie Chan's uncle in the animated series when he said just that...) as water shot him into the sky, sending him several hundred yards that-a-way into the ocean. Tommy fell unconscious from smacking into the water...

When Tommy woke up, he managed to notice a person rushing up to him to look at him.
"Uh... Sir?" The person asked, holding a knife, who was covered in blood. Tommy reacted by freezing in place, scared out of his wits.
"W-who are you?" Tommy said shakily. The man just laughed.
"Huh? Oh, sorry!" he said, looking over himself. "I'm a caterer, and a butcher. I just opened up a shop here on this tiny island known as Dewford.. You can call me Anthony."
"Err... Tommy..." Tommy sweatdropped after this moment. Anthony went for another question.
"Well... Do you know how you got washed up on this beach. I was just watching the ocean during a break, and I happened to see a boy. Which happened to be you."
Tommy thought a bit before answering. "Well.... If I remember, I think... I was shot into the air and over a couple hundred yards... and then I hit the water."
"That... That's amazing! How did you not... ya know..."
"Die?"
"Exactly." And both laughed at this, chuckling like you couldn't ever if you tried to.

"Anyways, are you leaving to somewhere else?" Anthony settled from his laughing fit. "Because if you're not... Well, how would you like a nice juicy steak? You look like you need something to eat."
"Made from premium Miltank?" The corners of Tommy's mouth started to drool saliva.
"One and the same."
"Then sure! I'd love to. I actually have business here, so..." Tommy trailed off as Anthony beckoned for him to follow. Tommy obliged, his stomach growling viciously.

"Mmmmmm..." Tommy said, stuffed full of food. "I love my meats."
"Would you like to stay here?" Anthony offered, now cleaning his cleaver. It seemed he also sharpened it. Often. "Ya know, for the night, at least?"
"I actually wanted to go explore somewhere tonight."
"Oh. Well, take care then."
"You too." And so, Tommy departed the building about an hour after arriving on the tiny island off the coast of Hoenn. Little did the Swampert-loving trainer know...

BOOM! Tommy had narrowly avoided the blow into the sand, but the shockwave of the blast sent him spiraling into the rocky cliff sides. He was reeling a bit when he stood up right on the sand, and tried shaking it off. "Ow..." Tommy replied as he saw the standing figures of two women and their Makuhita's, who had connected a double Arm Thrust attack into the sand. "Now what's up with that?" Tommy scratched his head as he finally snapped himself out of his confuzzled state. Tommy spent no extra time in the matter. He sent out his Hoenn duo, Lotad and Seedot.

"My time to double up! Lotad, Seedot, Nature Power! Go!" With that, Seedot and Lotad started dancing around each other, looking up, at the ocean, until finally, a large tremor hit the area, damaging both of the little guys, though damage was minimized by type. However, due to both Pokémon using Nature Power, the Earthquake that struck the Makuhitas was twice as heavy hitting as the ones near the grass types near Tommy. This sent the Makuhitas skywards, and landed in the sands with swirling eyes. Both women returned their precious fighters, and one of them hung her head in shame and walked away. The other sent out her second and last Pokémon, a Graveler.

"Too easy. Sunny Day, Solar Beam, go!" Tommy cheered for his Pokémon. Lotad set up a Sunny Day, intensifying the sun's rays. Seedot immediately fired off a Solar Beam at the rock type.
"Tsk. Fine. Explosion!"
"Crap." Tommy said as he was blown backwards into a house along with his Seedot and Lotad. The women trainer/goon/thug had already returned her fainted Pokémon and high-tailed it.
"Great..." Tommy muttered as he dislodged himself from the house wall. He looked around the area of the fight, and behind him as well. In front of him, there was a massive crater from the explosion. To the sides, near the rock faces, there was a tiny indent in the wall from Tommy slamming into it, with sand scattered everywhere. To his right, a mini sand dune had formed in the water, just about a foot or so above the water level, all formed from sand. And to top it off, Tommy checked behind himself. There was a massive indent in the side of the house, no major damage, and his two fainted grass types. He hastily returned the two, and started walking along the water line of the incoming tide.

"I've got to get a fishing rod..." Tommy mumbled as he walked along the beach trail back to the main village like part of Dewford. "Fishing looks Sooo fun!" At that, he sighed, looking up at the stars, and stopping to watch. He had always loved star gazing from his quaint little village. After gathering some wood from... somewhere.... and starting a very small fire, Tommy sat down to look up at the night sky, slightly illuminated by few little embers that Tommy let float up from the fire pit.

And Tommy sat up. Blinking, he realized that a)he had fallen asleep, b) he had some eye crust in his eyes, which annoyed him (which he wiped away), and c) it was really bright. After putting two and one together, he realized he'd fallen asleep looking at the stars, and had slept soundly till the afternoon. "Morning to me~..." Tommy said to himself. He looked sideways, while still laying down, to see his fire had gone out safely. He tried sitting up. After sitting up to fast at that moment, his head pounded, and he felt dizzy. He fell back over again. Finally, he stood up. He walked back to the town, and stared straight at the gym. And then his gaze drifted over to a man with a bunch of old-looking fishing rods. Tommy quickly approached the man.

"Well hello there sonny." The older fisher smiled. "Do you like fishing?"
"Well, it looks fun, I suppose..." Tommy responded.
The man was a bit flabbergasted at Tommy's words. "Have ye ever been fishing before?"
Tommy shook his head slowly, right, then left, and back to dead center. He then thought back to his fishing lessons with his dad, before he received his Mudkip. "Well, once or twice....."

[Sudden Flashback]

"Come 'ere, son. Let's teach you how to fish."
"But Dad," Tommy complained, "I don't see the point of it at all..."
"You might need to be able to survive in the wilderness, and it's a good thing, plus a fun thing, to know how to do. And it's easy." Tommy's dad added, pulling out his own home-made rod. he threw it into the water. A few seconds later, there was a small flex in the rod, and out came a nice, hearty Magikarp with a large tug. "See? Easy. Now, you try."
"Aww.... Fine." Tommy took up the fishing rod like he had seen on TV, and threw it in to the pond. He waited... and waited... but nothing was biting. "Gah, I hate this. It's too boring!" Tommy yelled in frustration, pulling the bobber out of the water not too long after he had tossed it in.
"Just take your time. Try again."
Tommy did as he was told... and after five minutes, Tommy threw the rod into the pond. "Way too boring, Dad..." Tommy's father retrieved the downed rod, and hustled after his son.
"Your such an impatient child... One more time, and then you can be done... agreed?"
Tommy mulled it over for a bit before nodding once. He tried once more... and after 10 minutes, just before he threw it down, there was a massive tug, which pulled Tommy right into the water. If it weren't for the young boy's strong swimming, he might've drowned. Tommy was somehow able to pull back out of the small pond, and then successfully reel in the Magikarp.
"I... I DID IT!! I can't wait to tell my friends~"
The father smiled, thinking that one fish had led him to happiness and to totally forget that he had fallen into the pond, and gotten himself all wet. He and his son released the fish. Slowly, they got up and walked back to their quaint little house.
"Hey, Dad, why am I wet?"

(END)

"Well then, take one of these Old Rods, then. I got a bunch of 'em from when I was a bit younger like you, but they serve no purpose to me now." And with that, Tommy received an Old Rod! *weird theme music you hear when you find an item in the original Pokémon games* "Where'd that music come from?" Tommy asked. The fisherman just shrugged.
"Do you know how to work it?" the fisherman asked, and Tommy had a blank look on his face. "The rod, I mean. You know how to work the rod, yes?" Tommy nodded slowly.

The boy on a mission waved thanks and goodbye to the fisherman, and headed towards the gym, silently stowing his new rod. A Magikarp laid in Tommy's future. At some point or another, maybe. As Tommy neared the gym, two goons quickly sauntered up to Tommy (which, yes indeed, is a contradiction. Or an oxymoron?). "You ain't gettin' past here." They both said. Tommy shrugged, and reacted for a Pokéball, though Tommy didn't try to pick a particular Pokémon, and his sloth came out to play. Tommy sighed and picked another as well. It turned out to be his Pikachu. A Machop and Meditite appeared to face the mouse and sloth pair.

Order: Pikachu, Meditite, Machop, Slakoth

"Ok, Pikachu, give 'em a Thunder Bolt!" A yellow bolt of energy rushed out and smacked the Machop in the head, scoring a lucky critical, and bringing the small muscle mass down. "Wow... lucky break, eh?" Pikachu gave out a short cry of delight.
"I'm out..." One goon said as he returned his Pokémon and made towards the boats at the shoreline.
"Meditite, use High Jump Kick!" The Pokémon flew towards Slakoth, and immediately knocked it out with the powerful kick. "You're not the only one who's lucky!"
"I don't have time for this guy..." Tommy grumbled, and it was mono-a-mono now.

Order: Pikachu, Meditite

"Quick Attack!"
"Detect!"

Both Trainers shouted at roughly the same time. Just as the mouse came upon the fighter, an almost impenetrable shield was thrown up, just in time. Pikachu slammed into it, but jumped off backwards, avoiding damaging his face just barely.

"Double Team!"
"High Jump Kick!"

Again, both trainers called out their move. Just as a kick came into striking distance, the double teams were thrown up. The original mouse ended up far away from the deadly kick, and sent Meditite crashing into the ground, hurting the fighter quite a bit.

"Detect!"
"Feint!"

A third simultaneous shout. Pikachu went to hit the shield that was thrown up, but instantly faked a punch and sprang over to the opposite side of the shield, leaving the Meditite exposed.
"Now! For reals this time!" Pikachu smashed a small little paw into the poor fighting type's face.

"Now Finish it, Thunder Punch!"
"Detect!!" The goon shouted urgently at his Pokémon. A small flash in the shape of a star appeared in front of the Meditite, but then disappeared. A charged up Pikachu gave the final blow, and the fighter was sent into the goon, who was knocked out on impact.

The man was dragged over to the side of the rocks, and left there by Tommy. The kid-in-gray sighed loudly and decided to take a quick nap at the Pokémon center. He could heal his Pokémon while he was there. Tommy walked over to the Pokémon center, which was actually about 10 yards away, Dewford being such a tiny town and all. Tommy did exactly what he thought he'd do, which was heal his Pokémon, switch some out, and nap for a short period before he confronted the big goon who had taken over the gym.

Tommy woke up, feeling refreshed. Stretching, he looked around. He managed to see out of the corner of his eye a man with a dark brown coat with a black fist shape on his back. Tommy got up, and put on his backpack correctly. Then, he put his hat back on and turned it around, facing it backwards. "Time to go~" Tommy cheered happily. The man was obviously upset about something, and Tommy decided to check up on the guy, following him all the way to the gym.

"WHERE ARE THOSE DAMNED IDIOTS!!" The man bellowed in rage, completely spazzing out in a terrifyingly awesome way. He couldn't understand how all of his grunts and goons had suddenly vanished off of the face of the island. He had searched every nook and cranny possible on Dewford, and they were nowhere to be found. Tommy was awe-struck by the man, but remembered his duty to take the guy out and get Brawly back. It was time to move.
"Er... Mister?" Tommy said, changing expression quickly. "Are you... Brawly's replacement 'til he gets back, or something like that?"
The man was completely by the question out of nowhere, and spun around, looking for where the source of the talking had come from. Seeing the kid made him a bit uneasy for no apparent reason, maybe out of not realizing a kid was standing and watching him swear, and ended up stammering a bit.
"W-well, er, k-kid," he said, stressing the word kid a bit, "I, uh... Yes. I am his replacement for an extended period of time." Tommy mentally smiled, glad that he'd chosen not to get the Aqua insignia on his hat or backpack.
"Ca-ca-can I challenge you to a gym battle the-then?" Tommy stuttered to further play into the little act that he'd just set up.
"I'll tell ya what, maybe tomorrow. Then we ca--"
"NO! I want a battle NOW!"
"Fine.... Are you sure, though?"
"Yes."
"Fine then..." The man paused, "Let us fight!" And so, after a brief set up, the battle was well underway.

The two threw out their pokeball, revealing their first choices. It was a Stunky, for Tommy, pit against a Machoke, for the evil gym leader, or E.L. for short (Evil Leader).

"Quick, Focus Punch!" E.L. shouted to his Machoke, who started powering up and letting all its energy flow into its arm.
"Don't let 'em, Night Slash!!" The purple skunk dashed up as the opportunity arose and landed a heavy blow to the Machoke, scoring a lucky critical, from the Machoke leaving it's guard down and wide open, and from the move itself having such a high critical-hit ratio. Machoke staggered backwards, and fell down onto its back, losing all of the focus it had previously had. "Now while you have the chance, Fire Blast!!" Tommy shouted once more. Stunky, already at the point-blank range, turned around in the air and let off its foul fluids, spraying all over the Machoke. The muscle mass pulled his muscled arms up to his nose. In that moment, and intense fiery blast was released, and the fluids were engulfed in flames, scorching Machop severely. When the fire disappeared altogether, a knocked out Machoke laid on the floor, badly burned, but knocked out.
"Darn, that was to Quick... Aerodactyl, you're up!!" E.L. shouted fiercely, sending out the ancient flying Pokémon.

E.L. went ahead and sat down, not needing to tell his Pokémon what to do. He was confident. The Aerodactyl suddenly aimed in an aero dive at Stunky, and scored a strong Thunder Fang, both paralyzing and flinching the baby skunk. The aerial Pokémon swung around, and quickly used an Iron Head to send Stunky flying into the nearest wall.
"Not good. You know what to do..." Tommy muttered, a dark face appearing on Tommy. Tommy jumped back a couple of times. "Charge." Stunky, as quickly as he could in his injured state, jumped up and onto the rock-flying type's stomach, and held on for dear life. "Now!!" Suddenly, the skunk started glowing, and an instant later, Stunky exploded in a fierce light that blinded both Tommy and E.L. As the dust cleared, it was apparent that Tommy's Pokémon was unable to battle, and Aerodactyl was pretty badly beat up, but still able to battle, no problems at all, besides the damage.
"You did good, Stunky..." Tommy gratefully praised his spunky Stunky, and returned it. In the same motion, he had put away his fainted Pokémon and tossed out a second pokeball. As Gible popped out, Tommy put his skunk's pokeball back on his belt.

"Ice Fang!!" E.L. shouted quickly. Tommy responded with a shout. "Scream with a vengeance! Dragon Pulse!" The pulse met the ancient Pokémon, and only slightly slowed and damaged it, and soon the Aerodactyl bit down hard on the land shark. Gible wailed in pain, and then managed to punch the Aerodactyl in the eye with one of his little stubble arms. This caused Aerodactyl to wail in pain, just as Gible had, one or its eyes hurting pretty badly. I mean, who's eye wouldn't hurt after getting punched or poked pretty hard in the eye?
"Dive!"
"Jump!!"

Both trainers shouted at once, and then a second time, "IRON HEAD!!!"

Both Pokémon did as they were told, and met at a diagonal, bashing their iron skulls into each other. A bunch of sparks resulted from the scraping of iron, and both Pokémon simply fell out of the air, completely knocked out by the brain-rattling event.
"Good work." Tommy praised his second fainted Pokémon, and returned him as well.

"You're a tough kid, for such weak Pokémon." The evil leader scoffed across the battle ground, returning his fallen Aerodactyl.
"I'm more than just a kid. I'm from Aqua. Team Aqua." Tommy shot back saying team Aqua like James Bond likes to say his name, letting his kid image fall like a mirror destined to shatter on the ground.

"You... you played me?!" He barked in a mad rage, not believing he had fallen for an act. "Well, there's no way you're gonna defeat my last Pokémon with your last!" He shouted, tossing out a pokeball. It released none other than a Hariyama.
"I have more than three Pokémon, you know." Tommy sweatdropped, laughing a little bit at E.L's rage. Tommy threw out his last Pokémon, revealing a Grovyle. "But I'll say it's a three on three. May the better man win."
"I plan too." The battle soon started.

"FOCUS PUNCH." Both trainers said at the same time, again. However, E.L. grimaced and was shocked that a Grovyle knew Focus Punch. Both Hariyama and Grovyle stood where they were, putting energy into one fist.
"But who's faster?" Tommy chimed the question out happily as Grovyle went in to strike a deadly punch, landing a straight thrust to the stomach. This made Hariyama fly back a few yards before landing firmly on its feet again. It soon lost all of the focus it had been charging up, hence why E.L. had grimaced a bit.

"Now Aerial Ace!!"
"Thunder Punch!"

Grovyle ran up to Hariyama, disappeared, and then re-appeared to fly into Hariyama's stomach. Hariyama staggered backwards a little, before striking Grovyle with the electrified punch. The punch sent him flying across the room. Although it wasn't very effective, it did manage to paralyze him, and cut Grovyle's speed by half.

"Belly Drum!!"
"Leaf Blade!"

Both trainers shouted at once. Hariyama pounded on his belly very powerfully, cutting his HP by half of his full HP, bringing him close to being knocked out. While Hariyama did this, Grovyle was paralyzed in place.

Grovyle started charging up a Focus Punch, in the meanwhile, being the next term and what not. However, he was too late. The weakened yet strengthened Hariyama put some smelly salt directly under the grass type's nose. The smell was so horrifying that Grovyle almost gagged on to Hariyama's hand, and lost all concentration he had moments earlier. Grovyle sank to his knee in an intense sickness, and was cured of the paralysis, but his speed hadn't quite picked back up, and it seemed he and the fighting Pokémon were on par in terms of speed.

"Focus Punch!"
"Focus!" Was all Tommy shouted.

The two Pokémon seemed to charge up their concentration. Grovyle's unnaturally light face turned back to his normal hue of green while they waited. Both Pokémon leapt into the air, at almost the same exact time. Grovyle threw up a Protect, though it wasn't very visible if you didn't try not to see it. Grovyle, being the faster of the two, now that he had time to recover his senses, charged up a Leaf Blade attack with the Protect traveling in front of him. Hariyama let loose his mighty punch about the same time that Grovyle bladed at the mighty lump of muscle, and both Pokémon came down, Grovyle landing on his knee like you'd see when two swordsman met in the air, landed on the ground, and then their hair would get a little cut. Hariyama did the same.

A large gash in Hariyama's shoulder suddenly appeared, making it cry out in pain, and fall to the floor face-first, knocked out cold. Meanwhile, it seemed that the Protect shattered on contact, not being as powerful as a visible Protect, and Grovyle had taken some of the force of the punch in the face. Grovyle got up weakly, and walked slowly over to the Hariyama, swinging violently, in danger of falling over himself. When he reached his opponent, he sat down on it. Grovyle had emerged victorious. Before the grass type could go into an unconscious state, Tommy returned him.

"You did a good job Grovyle." He returned his Pokémon. He ran over and high kneed the E.L. in the face to knock him down and out for the count... well, only a little. Enough for the guy to talk, at least.

"Where is he?!" Tommy demanded.
"Who?" E.L. whimpered, having a short burst of amnesia.
"Brawly!!"
"Oh, him. He's in the... the... under the floo--"

As soon as these words left the evil leader's mouth, Tommy tied him up and gagged him as quick as possible, not letting the man finish talking. He went under the ground via a trap door that was installed at some point or another, and came into a small pit. After a quick search, he round Brawly, tied and gagged like Tommy had done to the imposter upstairs just a few minutes ago. This time, Tommy untied and un-gagged Brawly, the real gym leader, doing the opposite of what he had done to the fake previously.

"We can still have an official battle, right?" Tommy asked as he got ready to head back to HQ.
"Yeah, any time you want, come back. You did rescue me." Brawly waved him off. Tommy completely forgot that he could catch a Pokémon. But, he was too tired to remember, care, or go do. He ran outside, called Flygon out, popped onto Flygon's back, and yelled triumphantly,
"Veni, vidi, vici!" thrusting a closed fist into the air as a sign of his victory, before taking off into the open blue.

Tommy was soon back at HQ, and sat down, finally able to relax from his 3-day ordeal.

Mission Complete.

Objectives:
- Go find a Happiny and bond with it creatively.
- Fight and capture the Happiny

Rewards:
- Nurse Rank lvl 1: First-aid Responder + 500 PD
---------------------------------------------------------
I only caught two grammar mistakes, one where you missed a particle somewhere and another where you didn't type the letter 'i' in the word 'in.' This mission is a lot better than your first few missions, so I'm going to pass it. One thing I didn't like is the overpowered nature of Abra's Teleport; it kinda seems like if you write yourself into a corner, you send out Abra and have it teleport you something. But that's a minor gripe. Your battles are getting better and so is your story telling. Congrats.

Welcome to the Aqua Class System. Nurse Level Up to Lvl 1 - First-aid Responder

Wow, that's a heck of a thing! Well done, Tommy! I did see one or two little missteps, but in the grander scheme of things they don't amount to much. (Conversing with E.L.: "The man was completely by the question" ...)

Your battles were good, there was the usual cartoony survival thing that your character excells at, and the surrounding story was well done. The flashback seemed a bit forced in my opinion. Also, did you swim all the way to Dewford? Er, 3/4 of the way? Yeesh.

Overall, you pass with full marks. 1000 PD, and Brawly sent you the badge E.L. was carrying.

*deep sigh of relief* Whew, I was sorta nervous there! I really should take closer looks at the mission, missing a word is normal but could totally make some confusion. The flashbacks, I'll work on, though I don't know how to un-force that. I'll work on it. As for getting to Dewford, Tommy hitched a ride on Swampert about half of the way, maybe more, and then searched for the pokemon that blew him into the sky, the rest of the way there.

User ImageThe hallways were beginning to get empty. There was a storm, a typhoon, on the surface of the water, so getting out of the base at this moment was suicide for a person such as herself. After all, Dr. Ciel Oshirobi lacked forms of movement with Pokémon. On side side, there she is; one of the best PokéScientist from Saffron City. On the other, her abilities as a trainer is something so terrible, she wouldn't doubt it for a second if a three year old could beat her.

Perhaps she was over doing it? Nay, not a three year old, but a new Pokémon Trainer? Definitely so!

She was in her brightly lit room, hearing the currents of the ocean outside sloosh around the walls. Even though they were underwater, her room had a medium sized window-portal to see outside. Fish-like Pokémon were swimming by, but as if they were in a major exorcise ring. Some showed some serious signs of stress when trying to combat the current caused by the tremendous storm only a hundred feet above. Even the color of the ocean seemed darker than normal; despite it being afternoon, the lack of sunlight made the water seem dark and turbulent.

With a sigh, her gloved hands pulled over a green beret on top of her head. Even though Team Aqua seemed to be the type that had little emphasis on military fashion, her father's words echoed in her head. Words, such as making sure one always stayed on appearance, and respecting those who had a higher position than yourself. Her mouth parted to a smile as she thought of her father... He had said those things to grow her up to be not as spoiled as she could have been. [After all, growing up rich did things for little girls!]

"Kippu..." began her Mudkip. In the past few days of being here, they have gotten to know each other... if just a little! So far, she knew her Kip was afraid of heights, and was jealous of bigger, stronger Pokémon. The woman reached forewords to pat it on the head.

"It's ok," she began, noticing that it was looking out the pexi-glass window in caution. "It's really thick so the big, bad ocean won't come in!" There. She had finished changing. Today, she was going to leave her hair loose instead of the normal pony-tail due to the fact that berets made it impossible to do so. It was not often she wore this outfit; nay, she seemed to only use it when she was out and about on missions...

Or rather, that was what she planned on using this uniform for.

Earlier, Dr. Ciel Oshirobi had walked up towards the panel where some of the objectives that a Tier 5 person, such as herself, had to undergo in order to gain some money on the side when they were not doing anything else. It ranged from the silly [stealing DSs from an ex-rival company of hers... She'll get you one day!] towards the more serious [get a new Pokémon onto her team in order to be better prepared for anything tomorrow]. Though revenge was an idea she loved to toy with in her head, her mind quickly scratched that out as fantasy and preferred to aim for a more... achievable mission.

Therefore, Ciel thought while flattening out her shirt with her hand, I am going off to go catch myself a Water Pokémon! When she had first mentioned this, Kinetic Intergral Project got rather jealous. REALLY, really jealous. He had thought that she didn't want him anymore, and was preparing to storm off in a rather emo-esce fashion before she had grabbed him and explained her reason. "Look, Kip. You are a great Pokémon, and all, but I simply can't jump on you to swim across oceans, you know..."

That seemed to have settled him down for those moments, which was good. He still looked a smidgit hurt, but that was to be expected, she assumed.

Another roar of the waves crashing upon the part of the base that was surface reminded her that that bad storm was still ongoing in the background, and it was forecasted to move off of Lilycove City and follow the coast up towards Fortree City before dying out. Aquos Island was only getting the ends of this typhoon, and...

She glanced at her mission. It was getting to be nightfall within ten to eleven hours, and that meant more fish are bound to come out! A full moon pretty much guaranteed one's ability to catch things with fish; a storm going on with said full moon meant RARE Pokémon were certain to come out! With a nod, she tightened her hands together. She wondered if she could catch something like a Magikarp, which would be the best test subject once she gained enough metal to make together the same prototype machine she had at OSHIROBI CORP before it got swept out to the sea. The PokéScientist's mind flew off for a while, thinking about how one could stress a Magikarp to evolve, and then harness the energy to run all sorts of generators.

With a quick shake, she picked up Kip and smiled. "Alright, let's go see if we can borrow a Team Aqua submarine to use!" She couldn't exactly use Surf, after all! [Not on his small body!] She had an idea to go fishing at the riverside by Fortree City, mainly due to the really neat Weather Station they had there! Word from other Aquaians that had gone nearby had mentioned that there was some strange cloud-gray Pokémon that could change with the weather! Didn't that sound... potentially good for research, right?
"I mean, with a Pokémon like that, it should know how to Surf, right?"

With the ongoing rain, the pounding noise, and all of the other things to make people become distracted, Dr. Oshirobi snuck in, very quietly, into the submarine hangers. Rows and rows of similar, steel hulls glistened in the fluorescent lights; all painted a light blue and blue combo with the emblem of Team Aqua upon them in silver. A glass dome consisted of the front of the sub, used for seeing around, and the interior was filled with high tech electronics for driving alone.

Her gloves gave a plus : it allowed her to get in and out without leaving fingerprints. To use as a thief? Never! She was NOT intending on stealing anything from her fellow mates! Instead, she was merely borrowing it.

Seriously. Dr. Ciel Oshirobi had left a note on the front desk area and everything. It certainly was not her fault if there was no on there to read it anytime within the next ten hours or so!!! Her mouth made a little smile when she thought of that. No lawbreaker, but she loved living on that thin edge. Like when Pokémon experiments were considered illegal, she moved her corporation onto the waters, where she was not under the legal custody of Kanto, able to do what she wished....

"Curses! Curse you, original Team Aqua!"

With a swipe of her TADS against the scanners, the submarine on the far side from the entrance door opened up for her. "Kippu!" her Mudkip cried out in glee, happy that it was going to get to do Top Secret Operations like his trainer! Stepping into the ship, her fingers glazed over the different controls and buttons.

Ciel had never really driven a sub before, but she HAD driven a small, private plane. [Flying lessons when she was younger made up for the fact she didn't want to get a Pokémon to Fly with.] And since these subs were like airplanes in the water, after tinkering, it shouldn't be too bad. Making sure to have her computer connect to the Weather Station [in order to track the typhoon], she powered up the sub, and took off, sliding into the current-filled waters.

~~*~~

"MUDKIPppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!" cried out Kip. "Kippu! Kip! Kip! Mudkip!!!"

Dr. Oshirobi kept crying out, too, going [mainly], "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TURN LEFT, DARN IT!!!!! LEFT, YOU STUPID MACHINE!!!!"

Things had started well. Ciel managed to learn how to control the ship after about an hour near Aquos Island, and then steamed her way towards the Northwest, following her GPS systems on her TADS. There were SO many Pokémon in the ocean! Even though the light was beginning to fade away, somewhere in the sky, high above the clouds, the moon was beginning to show its full glory. Time seemed to take forever for her, though, as the submarine could only go so fast with the currents in motion.

It was when she reached the coast near Fortree City that things went bad. The current was too strong to turn IN, and she was on her way to crash into the coral reefs that lined the shore!

She's only Tier Five! SHE CANNOT AFFORD FIX-ER-UPS!

Hence, her screaming and [not] cursing at the submarine, BEGGING it to take a sharp turn before the inevitable happened.

It was at this moment that the winds shifted a bit, showing that a different part of the typhoon crossed over her path, and sloshed her away from the brightly colored sub-death traps. Dr. Oshirobi managed to sigh with relief, and even Kip singed praises to whatever Pokémon called God.

After perhaps thirty minutes, the PokéScientist woman parked on an outcrop of rocks, and made sure that the gyros stayed on. Last thing she wanted was the submarine to slip back into the sea while she was out on the river. Glancing at her TADS and computer, she realized she didn't need to walk too far, but she only had six hours until the tide would turn, and her sub would be stuck on the beach until the next one. "C'mon Mudkip, we gotta suit up for some serious wind and rain." The storm had weakened as it had ran into colder water, but it was still bad enough to look nasty. As it was, the lighting was TERRIBLE. The woman took a glance down towards her metal shoes, making a mental note that she needed to get ones that had a serrated bottom in order to grip onto rocks the next time she decided to do something this crazy!

Carefully, she opened the door, making sure that Kip was near her. Prior to leaving, she attached a string between the both of them, so Kip wouldn't be swept away. With each step, it felt like the rain was pounding over and over again! Full moon also increased the height of the tides, so the water kept trying to get over the rocks, and at times succeeded.

Time passed, and she made it towards the riverbed. Kip ran ahead and jumped from fallen tree to fallen branch that dotted the riverbed. It was too dangerous to take out her collapsible Aqua Bike DX and speed up the trip. Already her clock said it was five minutes pass midnight, and she wanted to get this over and done with!

"Here seems like a good spot!" she said with a yell. Her Mudkip stood it's ground, getting ready to throw attacks at the potential Pokémon. Shoving her hands into her book-bag [where she had everything stored], she took out a small, stick-like figure. Grabbing the ends, she pulled opened and revealed that it was a Good Rod! With a frown, she bit her lips, and saw the air around her. After some thinking, she gave the Pokéball-looking lure to Kip, and said, "Swim out and set it, Kip! It's too windy for me to throw and not accidentally hit a treetop!"

He made a little splash, and then quickly came back; his golden cheeks shaking off some twigs. To the outsider, it was an awkward sight. Here was a blonde woman, standing tall in a raincoat, FISHING in the middle of the worst storm of the month! Ciel kept standing there, too, watching as the clock kept ticking and ticking.

Eventually, the mere wait was getting her tired. Her eyes were getting to be a bit heavy, and even Mudkip, himself, was yawning. "We can't... go in yet! Gotta catch... any Water Pokémon..."

Her rod began to tug!

"Speak of the DEVIL!" she cried out, and began to slowly reel in. "ALRIGHT!" she cried out, as some thunder flashed ominously in the far distance. Turning the nod, she gave a nod to Kip to make sure that he was ready to fight; she was pleased that she managed to bring a brightly lit flashlight to see!

It was SO CLOSE to the riverbed! With the last, FINAL tug, she yanked up the lure, revealing the one, the ONLY----!

"Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebas!" came the Pokémon's cry, angry that it got sent out of the water.

At that moment, Dr. Oshirobi felt like throwing that thing back to the sea! She cringed when she saw the UGLY patches upon it! The colors! The face! The... EVERYHING!!!! Ontop of it, the cry itself was HIDEOUS! "What-"

However, Kip was ready for action! With a sling of it's body, it crashed head first into what Feebas calls a 'face' [though, Dr. Oshirobi could beg to differ]. Snapping herself back into action, she reached ahead and pointed. "Kip! Mud Slap!!!!"

Kinetic Intergral Project turned around, and kicked its feet into the already wet ground, and threw it to the things face. Rocks and other such items continuously hit the Feebas in the head.

Normally, the said Pokémon [a disgrace to beauty around the world] would fight back... But, all it knew was Tackle, and the Feebas was tired from swimming in the high tides, and getting buffeted by the storm around her. But, it would still try! With a severe turn, it was getting ready to aim the spiky tips of its fins into Kip!

Dr. Oshirobi noticed this, and bit her teeth. Kip was already showing signs of wear, too, following her around as well as giving her the lure every time she deemed it was time to switch areas. She reached back into her bag, and pulled out the only other Pokémon she had at that instant; Passy.

Too bad the Feebas took this time to throw its body back into the river.

To say RAGE filled filled the Scientist's eyes was a farce. With a good arm, she grabbed the body of Pichu, and threw it into the river as well, right into the spot Feebas was trying to dive into. Her blue eyes narrowed as she readied to aim the next move before the Pokémon tried to flee for good; making her first official mission a failure...

"THUNDERSHOCK!" she screamed out, aiming her finger directly at the body at the Feebas. Her Pichu, happy that it was out [even if it meant in the rain and near-utter-darkness], glared evilly. The little cheeks began to be puffed up, and then, with a sudden rush of wind, Passy sent a bolt of thunder into the air to arc towards Feebas.

Maybe it was because her Pichu was just lucky and hit a sensitive area? Maybe it was because a storm helps the power of a Pichu increase in damage? Maybe because her Pichu was excited? Whatever the case, Feebas stumbled back, no longer able to fight, but not quite unconscious either. [That, in itself, told how strong a Feebas in tank-ability, Ciel guessed.]

"HAHA!" she cried out, pulling out a spare Pokéball, and threw it directly at the head of the Feebas. In a FLASH of red light, the Pokémon disappeared. She held her breath in, thinking of how she had to waste two Pokéballs on Passy, but... with the final shake, her TADS began to spit out the data of her caught Water Pokémon!

Dr. Oshirobi didn't take the time to read it right away, though. She had a deadline to reach her sub! "Return. Passy!" she cried out, and then raced towards the shore, making sure that Kip was in her arms. With each step, water splashed up, staining her metal shoes with mud. However, she didn't have too much time to worry about her wardrobe. As each second passed, the time to leave was getting smaller.

FINALLY, she found her sub, still in enough water to get out safely. With a jump, and a close of a hatch, Ciel got to sigh in relief. "Whew..." After a few moments, she glanced at her Pokéball that held the Feebas. "I can't believe I risked sub, life, and limb to catch YOU..." She was expecting... a slightly BETTER looking Pokémon.

With a grumble, she sent out Feebas, and gave it a look. "From now on, I shall call you T.A.L.I.A., for Testing Allocation : Linear Iverse Algorithm, I guess." A long name for a... unique Pokémon, she guess. Kip, however, dug into her bad, and brought out the small Blue PokéBlock that Mister Overlord had given her on her first day on the Team. "Supposed to raise beauty, eh?" Frowning, she shoved it in Talia's face.

"Eat," she commanded. And, for some reason, the coat her new Feebas got shinier.

With a sigh, she puffed hair out of her face. "Great. I now have a glossy Feebas."

"Feeeeebasssss."

"Kippuuuuu....."

Ciel slammed her head on the operating board as the sub slipped back into the sea; heading back towards HQ. It was going to be a LONG trip...
