BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP I wish that I had a tablet or something of the like so that I can start drawing too. I love to draw, though I am horrible at it but I have no way to scan or take pics.

@ TheOneBreakdancingNinja; tablets can be hard to work with at first, but really, everything boils down to just practicing. I'm not going to pretend to be an expert, (but thank's for the professional compliment ^.^) but practice really does make perfect. I know that sounds really aggravating now, trust me - I used to hate it when people told me that. I always thought they were just too lazy or selfish to tell me how they really got good, but it turns out they were right. Whaddya know?
@ Ms. Fairy; I have a Tooya tablet, and it's served me fine these many years. But many people say that Wacom makes the best. I've never tried them, so I can't tell you anything about them. I love my Tooya, it's the perfect size for me, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. <3
I will say this, though; a tablet does not make the artist. My on-paper doodles are still lightyears ahead of what I can do on the tablet, and of course there's always the gap between your first sketches and what actually comes out at the end.
My advice to anyone not willing to go though the agonizing transition between traditional artist and digital artist is this; don't bother with the tablet, but invest in a stand-alone scanner and other high quality traditional media. (Copic markers are love, by the way)
I think i've said enough... ^^' Let me know if I was rambling...

Lol, I know, I've been trying but it still drives me crazy. Do you plan on going to art college? (I ask because I think we're the same age)

BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP I would love to have a scanner to be able to upload pics but I don't think that will happen at least for awhile.

If you don't have a tablet or a scanner you should go to a drawing site like ratemydrawings.com where they make it pretty easy to draw with the mouse. (I hear there are better sites out there but that's the only one I know of)

Yeah, I've heard of RateMyDrawings, I was there for a while. Not fun. I go so jealous of all those people on there, I was so mad... but that was a logn time ago, I don't like thinking about it. >3<
Art college? Hahaha NO. I'd never do art as a career, nevarrrr. It would drive me insane. I want to go to college and learn how to make movies, going on to direct my own someday. *3* Art is my hobby, something I love to do in my spare time. I wouldn't love it so much if I had to draw for someone else.
I'm sixteen, almost seventeen, btw. How 'bout you?

I'm 17, (I read the post about you almost being 16 in 2009 so I thought you were 17, I was close enough) that's so crazy because you could totally make money off of your art. If you don't like making art for other people then why did you do it for all of the people in this thread?? I wanna go to an art college in Savannah and it sucks that your digital art is so much better than mine yet you don't even want to do anything with it. (not to mention the fact that you're younger than me) *jealousy*
I also rage quit ratemydrawings because of all the better artist lol.

I mostly take requests for ideas, stuff to draw when I can't think of anything else. So you see? Requests are for my own personal enjoyment, I just fool people into thinking that I'm doing it for them. XDDDDD lol ^^' jkjk
You'll see, though, that half the requests I get I say I'll do, but then I ignore. ^^' Sorry guys, but sometimes I get seriously frustrated and then it art blocks me so I give up. ^^'''''
I never said I wasn't going to do anything with it, eventually I might. Maybe in a few years I'll try selling it, but I'm no where near good enough now to expect people to want to by my s**t.

Watch the screws come loose And the pictures all burn. The cogs in the clock Refuse to turn.
Watch as the feathers fall out And the mailman stop, He scratches his head And runs to the cop.
Watch the leaves turn gray And the river run dry. Watch the doll in the window Pretend to cry.
...aah, the wonderful s**t that you can come up with at one in the morning. <3

People pay me for art and it's not nearly as good as yours, you're clearly underestimating yourself.
