Rayne had thought she heard voices on another street but dismissed them at first. But after hearing them over and over, she came to the conclusion she was not going insane and there was something going on. She went down a few blocks and stopped dead at an ally way, a force of evil coming from it. She turned, and looked at the giant wolf's back in front of her. "Oh crap."

He didn't see any other way out of it. If he did guess wrong after three tries, then he'd atleast try to get past the wolf thing. The plus was that he'd make a commotion, the minus would be that he would die. Atleast he should try. "Fine then, I'll play your game. But back up about 4 feet away, that's my only condition."

Give me a moment child, ofcourse ill back up but only after this woman agrees not to enterfere, you might want to encourage her not to because if she does, you die... and i do so hate killing those who have been given a chance....

Verin shrugged. "I'll probably die anyway, I sleep during my Lit. class at school." Then he directed his words to the woman on the other side, who he couldn't see. "Miss, could you not bug us while we do this? He's not gonna give me the riddle if you do."

Kiros eyes fliked open when he heard a few voices from were he sat, so he jumped down and followed them. he looked around in the heavy rain and spotted Rayne standing near the entrence to an allyway."hay Rayne, wha-."he stopped in mid sentance as he stared at a large wolf with wings."oh thats what."he stoped"well... no need to answer my question now" he said sarcastecly.

-I skidded to a halt when I saw the other two- "Hey whats going on?" -I look and see the wolf and the boy- "I see."

Mal: -Mal walks into the city and senses something- "He's here." -Mal smiles insanely with wide eyes behind is shades-
Strider: -The moment Mal walked into the city Strider sensed it. Everyone had to of sensed him- "Did you guys feel that? Something extremely dark just entered the city and I think it knows we felt him....but I can't shake the feeling i've felt this darkness somewhere before."
Mal: "So they've spotted me already. Good let them come." -He began to laugh insanely also-

Verin looked back at the wolf. "Alright then, you heard her. She won't interfere."
Elistral sat up suddenly, and closed Strider's book. She sensed something, a Ravager maybe? It was less likely, she'd only seen one this night. She put the money for her drinks on the counter and stuffed the book in her cloak. It bulged slightly, but it wouldn't get in the way. As she stepped out into the rainy street, she decided to head to Rayne's post. She set off north at a quick pace, her cloak's hood easing off.
