First Entry The main focus would obviously be the ball, there.
I took the photo in a friends backyard, it's one of those floating balls that ward off water birds from ponds.
There isn't really any sort of message that I PERSONALLY get out of the picture, but it will be different to everybody. I just think it's a pretty picture and I am quite proud of it because it's so simple.
Quite honestly, I think at the time, I was only trying to take a picture of the ball. But later on I saw the reflections of us in the ball and the background and thought that it looked interesting.
I believe I upped the color a bit, but other than that, it's all natural.
I take pictures because I like to show people pretty things that they wouldn't usually find pretty or artistic. (:

Entry 4: Glowing Treasure
This was taken in the last room of the Cave of the Winds. The focus is, of course, the pile of metal objects. When I took it, I didn't know what it was - I just thought that hey, even a pile of junk can look nice! -snap- And then the tour guide told us what it was. (As in, a hoax.) Regardless, it still made for an interesting photo. I wasn't really trying to convey anything here, except maybe that everything has beauty. No editing was done - it's all natural.×××

oh wow. congrats to the winners :]
i gotta say it must have been hard to judge though - i thought everyone's entries were amazing! i'd definately like another photography contest to happen *looks pleadingly at mods*
