Myia looked over to where she heard the sounds. "Shoot. Sound like a blood mess." She said under her breath. She crossed her legs and centered herself. 'Alright ready for anything.' She thought as she narrowed her eyes.

Maverick was unable to stop himself in time so he did the only thing he could do. he did a complete 180 and rammed his shield into the monster with his entire body as force, he knew the hit would make the monster stumble if not knock it out the only thing he had to worry about was those spikes once they both hit the floor.

When the Rathalos took the blow of the shield, it was indeed knocked back a bit, but it quickly retaliated, and lunged straight at the two, with it's feet first and claws extended.
Anaheim, just getting up, didn't exactly notice that the Rathalos had just attacked before he noticed that one of it's feet had just found it's way onto his chest and shoved him to the ground."Gah! Dammit, this isn't good!" He told himself as the creature's foot pinned him down, not exactly liking the fact that the Rathalos was lunging down with it's head, ready to take a bite.
Kota, thankfully, came along to throw some special dust into it's eye to cause it's head to fly back in pain. "Good job with the pepper dust!" Anaheim told Kota. "Pass me a black egg!" He shouted to his felyne partner.

Maverick rolled around to avoid being hit by the beast he stood up and saw the beast flying at them, he quickly reacted with his shield just bearly fast enough to deflect the claw however was still cut deeply in the shoulder "Hmm these things are fast!" Anaheim can you still run?" he asked him

Diana watched from the brush nearby, growling under her breath lightly as she frowned. She deeply wanted to help, but it was her job to kill what ever wasn't a Rathalos that came into the area. Stupid instructions. Sure, her sword was built for one-hit kills, but she could have been of some help. She felt rediculous sitting on the side lines. Even worse, the two girls who weren't even supposed to be here were going to be of more help than her. Her father was definitely scold her for not doing her job when she got back.

Anaheim looked to Maverick as he asked if he was all right. "Yes, I think i'm all right. The blow just knocked the wind out of me, that's all." He told him as he held his chest and started to breathe.
Meanwhile, rustling could be heard in the bushes behind the trees where Diana and the others were. The Genprey and the Gendrome had returned for their vengance

Diana heard the rustling and quickly made herself disappear into the brush. She moved quickly and silently, making sure not to make much noise. Once she spotted the Genprey and Gendrome, she positioned herself so that way she was down wind from them and could easily jump at them, sword drawn, if they tried anything.

Aura readied herself while watching intently. The Rathalos was close enough for her to shoot it with her arrow, but she had yet to find a clear enough shot. When the Rathalos lunged she saw a small window of a clear shot and shot at it, hitting it between the shoulder and the neck.

Seeing an arrow shot through the shoulder and neck, Alex felt the Rathalos loosen it's grip on his stomach, eventually allowing himself to get away from the creature all-together. "Was that arrow coated?!" He shouted to the woods, keeping a fair distance away from the creature itself.
The Genprey found the area where the arrow was shot, and they found themselves at 2 trees. With claws extended, they climbed up onto the tree, slowly inching themselves up.
The Rathalos was still picking chili powder out of it's eyes when it got shot through the neck-shoulder region by the arrow, roaring in pain and angwer.

"Yes!" she managed to call out, she had coated it when she first got up in the tree. She didn't notice the Genprey inching upwards since her focus was on the Rathalos and Anaheim and Maverick.

Diana saw the Grenprey in both directions and hissed a little, in a way that would sound almost like a larger, more hostile creature. Why? She was trying to draw the genprey's attention for a moment as she lept out of her hiding spot and slammed her sword into the Genprey's neck that was higher up on the tree that Aura was in (since she happened to be the one closest to her.

Myia watched closely as the boys delt with the Rathalos. She grinned when she saw Aura's arrow hit. "Alright." She cheered under her breath. "What..." She felt the tree shake. "Blood hell. Its those dino rats again." She hissed as one slamed into the tree trying to knock her out. She rapped her legs around the tree brach before she could completely fall. "Die." She hissed as she swong her metal bow at the Grenpray and Grendrome.

As soon as Aura told Anaheim that the arrow was coated, the Rathalos's movements began to slow down, and it eventually fell to the ground, asleep. The Genprey were still moving up the trees, with about 3 of them moving towards Diana and the rest going up in the trees.
Anaheim gave a long sigh of relief when he saw that the Rathalos go down, and sat down on the ground himself. "Man, that was a tough one.." He said to himself, before seeing Kota tuging his poncho, pointing towards a Genprey that had almost climbed the tree where Aura was sitting.

After she saw the Rathalo's pass out, she was about to climb down from the tree but noticed the Genprey were inching their way up to her. She kicked at one of the head's when the one got to close to buy some time, "Uh.. This isn't good.." She said more to herself than anything. She climbed a bit higher trying to buy herself some time and a bit of distance from the Genprey. Unfortunately she was too close to shoot an arrow at them, so she used her bow to smack them whenever they got too close to her.

Diana picked up a few semilarge rocks and tossed them as hard as she could at the ones going up Myia's tree to either knock them down or to make them mad enough to not want to attack Myia and come after Diana instead. No, she's not suicidal. She was told to guard the girls, so this was her idea of making sure they were safe. She then looked up to Aura and shouted out "JUMP GIRL!" before lifting her sword and swinging it lie an ax at the tree. The tree would shake violently as she got a big gash in the side, her attempt the knock those Genprey off the tree. She panted slightly and braced herself for any attacks that would come her way.
