Shinji grinned slightly, shaking his head to Aiji. Oh, nothing at all! Why do you think that meant something? He snickered some, pulling his drink closer to himself, keeping his eyes on Aiji as he sipped from it, wincing slightly at the realization he'd ordered a soda, not alcohol. s**t...

Shinji sighed, shaking his head some as he slumped further into his chair, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking down some. And everyone knows damn well that I'm an idiot who always says and does the wrong things, so can't we just look past that, forget I said anything, and have lunch?

Shinji, Aiji said, shaking h/er head. I don't understand... but whatever, yeah, we'll have lunch, and I'll go home, and you can go back to thinking about what you're going to do about Lena. The waiter came over, bringing the two their dishes and departing their area once more.

Shinji shook his head some after the waiter left, shifting up slightly to pull his food closer to himself. There's nothing to think about anymore, he muttered, leaning over his plate some. No need for me to do anything about Lena but hope she finds someone a little less ******** up to spend her time with. He sort of laughed, shaking his head to himself as he took a long sniff of his dish.

That doesn't make any sense!! Aiji shouted, slamming h/er hands on the table and closing h/er eyes. Just shut up, obviously she wanted to be with you that bad or she wouldn't have stuck with you! There's nothing wrong with you, okay? s/he said, shaking h/er head as she pushed her dish away.

Shinji paused, his eyes widening with Aiji's outburst. I'm...sorry...he offered, blushing somewhat. It'd been quite a while since he'd seen Aiji that angry, and he felt really bad now. He swallowed hard and shifted in his seat some. If...you want, then...I'll go talk to her, okay? After lunch...

Aiji sighed deeply, shaking h/er head, h/er bright green locks swaying just barely. I think she deserves that much, s/he said, staring at h/er plate as the food slowly started disappearing.

Shinji exhaled slowly, nodding some as he watched Aiji. Do you always eat like that? He asked, tilting his head just slightly to his friend as he lifted a pair of chopsticks.

Not always, Aiji said with a sigh, thinking of something as s/he crossed h/er arms over h/er chest. I sometimes actually eat my food... but I'm not hungry anymore and don't want to seem rude. Aiji grabbed for h/er bottle of Corona.

Shinji frowned, nodding some to Aiji. I'm sorry...he said softly, shifting uncomfortably in his seat as he well knew it was his words that upset his friend. With a touch to his glass, his sprite turned into a hard liquor which he hoped would take away the feelings that build inside him and made him feel like dirt. Pausing, he smiled to Aiji. Well...How about we just skip to dessert then...Would that make you feel better? There was a very obvious hint of hopefulness in his voice, and he set his glass back down, the contents returning to it's fizzy original state.

Aiji's mouth curved into a smirk. You know what I suggest? s/he said, leaning closer, h/er voice seductive. I suggest we just go back to my room. And when we get there, I'll slip into something more comfortable, Aiji started, grinning to Shinji. And then you can say goodbye and then go talk to your girlfriend.

Hot blush came over Shinji, and he shifted again, swallowing hard. That was mean, Aiji...he managed to squeek, shaking his head some. Real mean...but Okay...If that's what you want...he said, clearing his throat and shifting again. I'll take you home and go see Lena.

Aiji snickered softly, shaking h/er head softly once more as s/he lifted an arm to flag down the waiter, kindly asking for the bill. Aiji looked to Shinji, smiling brightly. It wasn't mean, I wasn't doing anything wrong whatsoever, not my fault you're so hard up for attention.
