"I do, on both counts. She is my little sister, Ky." He gave a parental glare at Nim, and then tried to shake out his hair. It began to stick up a little, but was dripping less. He still looked like he went for a swim in a lake.
"He likes to pretend he's big and grown up for his ego, but I was about to ask you the same thing... miss...?" She couldn't venture a name from her idiot red head's companion.
"What are you all doing here? none of you belong out here, it took me days to find you." She was quite concerned, and authoritative.
"I haven't the foggiest, all of us got teleported here out of the blue.... anyway.... I hope they found an inn somewhere, need to go clean up..." Zen began to ring out his clothes.

Hatira laughed,
"Well, we did, but...it's not the greatest of places...and has some innkeep that should really be in the mental asylum at this point in her life..."
Hatira replied to him and added,
"Aside from the crazed innkeep, it's quaint...I wouldn't reccomend it, it looked like she was eyeing us like dinner and dessert."

"Ah! This is where you are!" Inutai cried, appearing from behind the woman. He bound up to Zen, dragging Toshi along. His tail wagged happily and his ears were perked straight up in delight. He didn't seem to even notice that Zen was all wet. Either that, or he didn't much care.
"You really should not have sent out a child to go out and search. Especially when he's accompanied by a blind man," Toshi told him simply, not really caring if he was interrupting anyone's conversation. "It is just not very wise. Luckily, we were found by this lovely woman, here."

She flinched and wilted under the glare as she got to her feet shakily. She suddenly realized how callous and unthoughtful she had been.... the girl been too annoyed at her own discomfort to notice the stranger's and was beginning to feel horrible about it. She timidly snatched the cloak out of the fountain after steadying somewhat and started wringing and flinging it out, avoiding the tall man's eyes and doing her best not to fall over--or, for the love of all that is holy--manage to catch fire again, whatever the hell that had been.
She didn't make much progress with the cape, but gnawed her lips in silence and kept trying, despite her fatigue and blank state of mind. She worked mechanically, drowning out the presence of the people around her.

"I'm Angela," the white haired girl replied, eyeing Ky suspiciously. "And quite honestly, I just want to find out where we are and who brought us here so I can kick their sorry a** and find a way to get home. So if you've got any information, please divulge it before someone else's head catches on fire."

Javor watched this display with great interest. He was also wondering who this new woman was--she had a very odd feel to her. He wondered if she knew something about their sudden appearance in this world. But there was something else gnawing on his mind as well. He leaned to Hatira and whispered "So...who was dinner and who was dessert?"

Hatira blinked, looked over at him and whispered back, "Depends. Who do you think should be which? I think I should be the dessert."

"I'll get you a change of clothes at the Inn...." Ky said to Zen, who was still pouting a bit over being wet as a dog.
She began to stroll in the direction of the beach, to get the group moving together. She was trying desperately not to laugh some more, and pulled the brim of her hat down to hide that.
"I can tell you where you are, you're in my realm. The very edge of it too, where the dreams of the universe turn into their own parallel ones.
But something is wrong, because you are all from other universes, besides the fearless little brother of mine, and ended up in this one.... This is not supposed to happen, it is damaging to all the worlds involved.... What happened, I don't know, but I am going to find out."
Ky was annoyed, like Zen, but her irritation was made at their common enemy instead.
"Come along." Zen told the shy girl who he was about to give up trying to understand. He was eagar to get to shelter and dry off, even if a psycho inn keeper was there to greet them.

At Hatira's playful retort, Javor's dark green eyes flashed with a pale light and the hunger pangs he'd been trying to ignore suddenly increased. She was standing so close that the only thing he could smell was the scent of magic, swirling around her. He promptly forgot anything and everything about their current situation. She was so...so...tempting. He leaned closer to her, and lifted one hand. He could just quickly---
"W--wait a bloody minute!" Angela called after Ky and Zen. "What do you mean dreams of the universe and all that mess you just said? You can't just say something like that and walk away like it's nothing!"
She glanced at the flaming shrimp girl and gave her what she hoped was an encouraging smile. "Come on," she said, motioning for the girl to follow. And then she shot off after the others, determined to get more information out of them.
Javor jumped at the sound of Angela's voice and suddenly realized what he was doing. He pulled back quickly, drawing a sharp intake of breath. He couldn't--couldn't draw attention to himself like that. He knew that.
He stepped away from Hatira. "We should follow the others," he said abruptly and started away from her, trying to ignore the shaky hunger in the pit of his stomach.

Inutai, not really understanding what was being said about this 'universe' thing (whatever that was), only became more confused and his tail became still. He pouted slightly as he was ignored and left behind. Quickly, he ran after them (dragging Toshi along), not wanting to get lost again. Inutai still had no idea what an Inn was.
Dreams of the universe? This only piqued Toshi's interest, yet wasn't able to voice anything as they quickly moved.

If you can think of a possibility, it has some substance to it, like a dream. Real, but not quite enough real to end up becoming true for everybody? It is hard to explain, but these alternate forms of reality, the dreams, they are this place, this is where they exist. It is called Kaleylna. "
Ky tried to explain clearly while walking along, wanting to get Zen a towel.
"Whenever a dream world in kaleylna becomes so unique it has nothing to do with our real universe at all, it becomes it's own new universe... like the ones you are from."
She hoped it made the least bit of sense, she was distracted by the pretty Sea, which she dreaded above all else.
"And it is bad, very bad." Zen added, looking relaxed a bit. He was drying off in the wind a tad. "Because you showed up here, your universes are converging on ours. I've never seen this happen, but I'm guessing it will be bad."
He began to speed up a bit, wanting to get a room in the inn as soon as possible.

The...'flaming shrimp girl' frowned as she scurried after them. She hated not knowing what was going on...granted, these people weren't in the know much more than she was, but she couldn't even talk to anyone. "Damn this place. Damn it all to hell," she mumbled aloud, her first coherent sentence. She glanced up at the strange redhead again and winced. "And damn my stupidity... 'n freaky 'spody tendencies."

Angela blinked in confusion. What the--ugh. I shouldn't even have bothered to ask she thought. She knew every corner of the multiverse had its own explanations for how things worked (and to make it even worse, no matter how conflicting they seemed to be, her observation was that all of them were actually correct!) Still, that had to be one of the weirdest she'd ever heard.
"Okay so basically, if we stay here, all our worlds will collide and go boom. Yeah. I can see why this is bad. So the next order of business is to get us all home, is that it then?"

Inutai managed to catch up to the group (being as small as he was, that was somewhat difficult in itself). He decided to stay near Angela, as he knew no one else and Zen didn't seem to want to talk to anyone at the moment.

"Maybe... I'd rather find out what did this to begin with. It could possibly take all of us to fix it." Zen concluded aloud.
"I believe it is a who." Ky announced, looking as if she suspected one of them could be the culprit. She sat on the inn's porch, seeing that it was currently unmanned by any of the staff.
