I was first for alto until I switched to tenor. I was the only one so my BD decided to make a tenor sax/bass clarinet section so I would have some 'competition' ended up keeping first chair unless I tied with the better of the two. When I moved up I had first and now I can't wait for next year because I have first chair tenor for jazz band.

I am the 1st chair trumpet.
There's 8 of us this year... biggest section since I've been there. biggrin

I was first in intermediate..but now in high schools I was demoted to second flute...those seniors! scream

I am 1st chair!! But that's not very impressive because there are only 2 bassoon players in my school smile
