[[^^ She's still standing there with you~]] Maddy looked at Nich, holding his hand tightly, she was frightend in most defnitly. She shook slightly as they hit the bottom. "Erm.. I'm not sure, I could try... But what if it's like the window...It refourmed..." she commented as she replayed what had happends in her mind. "Hopefully it's still accessable.." she whispered as she took Nich's hands, and put them on her waiste, slowly stalking forward.
Her hands outstretched infront of her, she felt something pass through her, her eye's went wide with fear. "I..." she wasn't sure what to say, he wouldn't feel it. She doubled over, falling back onto her a**, taking Nich down with her. Her hands shook as she stared up at what was looming over them. It was denomic, it was one of those ghosts, that barganed with the devil. They were ment to die entierly and not roam earth. But they seeked out people who could see them... Just so they could slaughter them. She raised her hands in an 'x' infront of her and squeezed her eye's shut tightly.
Monica smiled sickly as she pulled on Reskars hands, dragging him down into the basement so he was at the mouth of the stairs. "Please....I'll get you out of here...You're life, or their's..."

Nich fell hard and his elbow made a weird crunch on the pavement. he moved it around maddy's shakinf shoulder and it popped back into place as his eyes squeezed shut in pain.
He found he had no time to worry about such things however when his beautiful maddy was cowering away from nothing.
Time forze for a moment just then as adrenaline and realization flooded through him. His mind doubled is usual processing power, and whole books leapt through his mind in a instant thousands of slightly relevant facts ran a filtering process and he knew what was happening but had no idea what to do.
So he stood in front of her.
He held his arms wide to block her from that which he couldnt see and took in a deep breath.
"Anthony keats wrote a poem called when i have fears, you may know of it, but i will tell you simply he feared death, i dear damned soul do not, do to me what you will, take me from this blasted land of mstruths and empty caves into your hell, and i will there seek my revenge, kill me fell ghost and you will know true vengeance, for i have had no afilliation to your god, and i would have eternity to strike fear into the heart of your satan, and i know full well the 'tis better to rule in hell than serve in heaven'."
Then his serious look changed, his head fell to look down but ot really look at anything, and his face grew a grin...
"So ******** you."

Max herd Nick's elbow, her eye's widend, she felt a strangly guilty for pushing him back now. She watched his displaces elbow wrap around her, akwardly she stared at it. Shaking slightly as she watched him pop it back. She found it to be odly gross.
Her eye's wide with shock as she watched him stand. She jolted up, she noticed it was about to eat his soul. He couldn't tell. Her hands flung, shoving him away. She whipped out a small object, holding it up. Her eye's squeezing shut tightly. It was just a bag of ashes, when she found she could see ghosts. She'd read up on them, in a speical book her grandmother left her. Her grandmother would be a so caled 'slave to heaven'.
She watched it slither away, muttered something in toungs she couldn't quite catch. "You do relize...You just almost got your soul sucked out.." she whispered as she pulled him close to her. "I'm so sorry...I...Are you...Okay I mean?" she asked as she softly took his arm. THe overwhelming quilt getting stuck in her throat as she looked at him.
Tears slowly leaking out of her eye's. "Y-..Don't do that again...Nich...You can't see it, you'll get killed easily.."

Nich slumped up, now a completely broken husk of a human body and completely out of energy, and powered only by his will to help her.
His movements were slow and unearthly, and it seemed like everything hurt him from a steo forward to blinking. He just concentrated a little harder and ignored the pain a little more.
"Maddy, I wasnt kidding im not afraid to die. I have absolutely no religious affiliation, if im wrong then im wrong but i dont care, its not like anyone gives a s**t anymore anyways right? If i kicked it, s**t would just go back tonormal, and id barely be a blip in your life. Besides, i cant feel my soul, or injure it or anything, so why is it so bad to lose? Im not worried."
Thats when he stepped on another peice of glass, he tore it from his foot ready to swear loudly again at his sheer misfortune when he remembered where the glass was in the basement. It was under the cellar door.
He looked up and sure as s**t he saw the barbed wire fence he'd hopped so long ago.
"Maddy... we're saved."

Maddy's arms wrapped around him. "Lean on me, you'-" her eye's narrowed. She pushed him back against the wall. "WOULDN'T ******** CARE!? ARE YOU ******** SERIOUS NICH!?" she scramed in his face. Now he'd pissed her off. "No, I'm going to turn around and admit I'm possibly in love with you, then watch you die and shrugg it off like it was nothing? You're ******** stupid for a genius.." she said angrily. "People would care, you ******** idoit." she muttered as she looked up.
SHe could care less about escaping right now, she wanted to beat the s**t out of Nich for having even the thought cross his mind. "You're one hell of alot of stupid.." she mummbled. But reached up anyways, her hand touching the air. "There's a shadow seal. If you went through that, it'd be like being eaten alive by an anaconda.." she said as she looked at him..
Maddy sighed, leaning up into him, she rested her forhead against his. "And I know this is so clichie, but I do love you Nich... And I do care about you. And you wouldn't be jjust a blip in my life.." she whispered quietly.

Nich chuckled softly as he held her shoulder with his hand he didnt know how much more juice he had. He staggered up and looked at her in the eyes.
"Reality is a tricky thing cutie."
He rubbed the side of her face with his weak hand and let it drop to his side.
"sometimes you dont realize how grand the scope of life is, and just how insignificant other things are. lemme ask you, how is your life different for meeting me? You probably would have had the same night, minus the romance, and been just fine. Never knowing what could have happened, but now that it has, why does any of it matter much?It doesnt. The only wieght things have thats greater than a feather is because you give it to them. I mean alot to you, but i dont mean alot for you... ya got me?"
He sighed and shrugged. he didnt generally say things like that out of principle, most people didnt like things they couldnt understand, he knew Maddy would know what he meant, but he didnt want ot get into a habit for other people. then he laughed as he thought once again that it was funny what you noticed in off times.
"So how do we get out Maddy? With this obstacle in our path... Blood sacrifice?"
He was being sarcastic to lighten the mood.

Reskar glared at the ghost, "I don't kill. And I don't plan to start now. Why are you so keen on causing ruin and destruction, first you want me to break them up, and now you want me to kill them. Why are you so... vengeful?"
