"A thincake. Or something like that." she muttered.
"A crepe, ma'am." Auren corrected her from the stove. Clearly prepared, he put a plate of them in front of Hali.
"Kaiser, eh? Yeah, he's a hardass alright but he knows his s**t. Stick with him and he'll take you places. Glad he didn't come with me, to be honest." Auren rumbled from the stove, making sure everything stayed warm.

"Yeah," hali sighed as she folded the crepe in half stabbed it with a fork and shoved the whole thing in her mouth, chewed three times and swallowed, then stole her sister's water to wash it down, "He's taking the whole loss REALLY hard... Everyone is... The came went from a training camp to a ghost town... not to mention Myrr broke her leg.... Poor dear, hope she's alright..."
Oriana grumbled at the loss of her water and got up, hobbled over to the cupboard, and began preparing coffee, "Maybe you should go back there soon... Seeing as everything's alright here now..."
"Maybe..." she grumbled, "But every time I leave here... I end up making trouble for the people I'm with, and trouble seems to come here..." She shrugged, "Last time I decided to leave, mom and dad almost split..."
Oriana growled at her sister's comment and shuffled back to the table to wait for her coffee to finish brewing.
"Fine fine... I can see how bad you want me gone... I'll head out sometime today..." she drank the last of the water and set the glass in the sink, then hugged Savarti, "It's good to see you again though... You disappeared on me... Or did I disappear on you...?" Hali shrugged and danced out of the kitchen and back up to her room.

Auren grumbled "Oh no. Everyone's going to sit down and enjoy this breakfast I made." as Hali left the room.
Looking back. "She needs to not mention ANY of-- Oh. I know..."
"I committed suicide. The guilt I could no longer hold within me... I snapped." Auren plotted. He could be free in all forms but appearance. "And truth be told, a bit of hair dye and contacts and I'm someone else."
Snickering to himself, Savarti didn't understand what he was going on about.
"You disappeared first." She said to Hali as Hali disappeared.
"In anycase, Breakfast is ready, just waiting on anyone else." Auren announced.

 Damir came shuffling in with his daughter in one arm, and a urn in the other, "Here's your body, I don't know what you two wanted to do with it... I had a coffin ordered, but when you were standing right next to me I decided well, that can wait for this body... So..." Damir handed him the urn and took a seat at the long table, "Well, Let's eat." Oriana shuttered when she saw the urn, and lowered her eyes continuously telling herself, 'It was all a bad ******** dream...' It was easier for her to accept that way. Vienna came in shortly after Damir settled in at the table and frowned, "Goodness Damir! This is no place for that!" She jutted a finger at the urn and snatched it out of Auren's hands, "Dear, if you want to visit... your remains... They'll be in the family room just up the grand stairway, through the double doors, above the fireplace, Alright?" without waiting for his reply she scurried out the door and went to go set the Urn where she said it would be. Hali kicked Oriana from under the table and smiled, "Cheer up. The point is he's here now." She snarled at her sister and finished off her Crepe, "As wonderful as this family gathering is... I'm really not all that hungry..." "Then have a cup of coffee and stick around!" Damir chuckled while tossing an empty cup over to her and giving her little time to right it, before he brought the pot over to fill it. Oriana grumbled and sipped her steaming coffee.

(Since everything is going so slow... I'm skipping two weeks in OxA and Queens.) In two weeks time everything returned to normal. Hali continued her "Training" at home, since she felt odd going back when everyone was all depressed. She figured she'd go back when someone came for her, or in a few months when things should start moving again. Damir and Vienna Bid their daughters farewell, and went off for another few years. Of course Damir didn't leave without Threatening Hali with an arranged marriage. Oriana struggled a few more days, then was able to put her nightmares behind her and return to all the mounting paperwork on her desk. (And auren... you can open it... And if you cant... then it will sit til i get to it!)

Myrr and Kaiser had stayed at the base, not sure if they should have expect Hali back.
Life went on in the Moonlight Compoud, miffed that there was no word of Auren. News had spread that there was some sort of incident at the castle but no one knew what had happened.
Kaiser had posited that something had happened at the Castle that was related to Hali but wasn't sure of what.
So they waited while Myrr recovered.

Auren sighed as he patrolled the hallways, unsure of what to make of himself still. Savarti had explained that he was an Einherjar, an 'Undying Warrior.' If bringing brought back to life was a regular occurrence then he could see that.
Whatever she had done, he was not the man he was twenty years ago. Too fast, too strong, too tough to be merely human. So Auren was lost with what he was. On the bright side, she never asked him to do anything, despite the overriding compulsion to obey her every command.
She wanted to release him but she didn't know how. So, Auren was stuck in limbo as far as he was concerned.
Entering Oriana's office, he sat down to the side. "So, what crisis about milk prices do we have today?"

Oriana smiled and set her pen down, "Milk crisis? Are you hearing things I am not... I tend to only catch wind of more pressing matters than milk... Like trade agreements... Rival tribes or kingdoms invading..."
she took her glasses off and set them on the remainder of the stack, "Did you want to do anything today?" rising from her chair she made her way around the desk and waited for his response.

Hali stumbled into the campground while a bunch of men in uniform stared at her, doubled over and gasping for air. "Um.... Can anyone tell me where Kaiser or Myrr are... I should probably go talk to them..." she asked between breaths.

"I am completely free. Savarti doesn't know what to do with me so I have free will to do whatever." he says with a sigh."Depends on how long I can steal you from your paper work." Auren says with a sly grin.
"I figured I'd go get dressed and take you out so we can get reacquainted and restart our lives. Though I need to see if my bank accounts are still active."

"Around. Kaiser's probably training again. Not like there's much to do. Myrr's in the Infirmary." one of the older men says. "Can I ask for what we owe this pleasure for, Your Highness?"

Oriana held Auren cautiously, "Nothing in this lifetime could possibly steal me away from you..." she ran her fingers up and down his arms softly and kissed his shoulder gently, "I will be in my room, preparing..." she smiled over her shoulder and slipped out into he hallway.

Hali walked passed the men in uniform, on her way to the infirmary, "I train here... Do I need to explain myself further?" she said glumly over her shoulder.

"I intend to stay here forever." Auren told her softly before she left. Auren went to his room and picked out his clothing. White undershirt and small clothes. Black pants and a black shirt to complete the outfit. Not mourning clothes, but regular clothing.
Looking through walls, he found the Valkyrie, his commander, mistress, everything rolled into one was reading a book on something. Auren still wasn't sure why or how he could but he simply Did.
Making sure he was ready, he reciting banking information before heading back up to Oriana's room to wait for her with a gentle knock.

"No, Your grace." the Sergeant said. "Was just curious to see what was what." he said with a bow.
Myrr was in the infirmary, and looked rather angry about it. Her leg was still broken. Myrr was doing exercises to keep her leg strength up.

Oriana had just finished loosely french braiding her hair. she looked over her shoulder and smiled, "Well," she spun around to display her midnight blue long form fitting gown that drooped in the back to reveal her entire back, "Am I allowed to be seen with you in public?"

Hali frowned and turned to head to the infirmary, "Don't call me that anymore... My name is Hali."
she made her way through the large building and found the room Myrr was staying in. Hali walked over to her bed and sat down, "I'm back... How are you feeling?"

Auren's clothes were far more plain. More of a uniform worn under armor. Loose and very well fitted, he shrugged. "Well, depends if you want to deal with people wondering whose the new boytoy you found~" the former General said as he hugged her.
"But! The real question is, where do you want to go?" he purred as he nuzzled her neck and lightly nipping her ear.

"Very well!" the old soldier called as Hali left them.
Myrr had her leg propped up while a phyician looked at it. "Oh, hi Hali." Myrr said with a pout. "Well, the leg still hurts like nothing else but its healing very nicely, thanks to your efforts. Kaiser's still around here somewhere. Damn housecat."

she slid her fingers through his hair and smiled, "Well, You wanted to go to the bank, so we should probably stop there... then there was a beautiful little diner where we could stop for some coffee and a little snack, for dinner I had hired a chef, To make a wonderful meal for us." oriana leaned back and kissed his cheek, "So, While we're in town we can do whatever... I have nothing else planned."

Auren smiled. "Good, let me see if the Mistress needs me first, then I'll make sure we have the whole day to ourselves." he purred as he kissed her neck before leaving.
A few minutes later, he came back with a grin. "Nothing for me to do, shall we?" the former mercenary said, offering an arm for her to take. The bank would be the first stop but he would make it quick anyways, and then that diner Oriana mentioned and then from there dinner.
Auren liked this plan.

Myrr sniggered as Hali made the announcement. "I won't be able to join you two for your wilderness training. Probably for the best anyways otherwise you'll hear me n' Kaiser yell at eachother all day. He should be in his cabin. Meanwhile I lay here some more being bored."
