Streak never ceased to be amazed by the city. He always saw the city as if through the eyes of a kid. Streak gazed in wonder.

Alastor then led them towards the largest structure in the city, the Royal Palace of Matier. Named in honor of the royal family of the Same name that had ruled Anier for countless millennia.

Guards lined the cobbled road that led up to the palace's front, these guards made no move to intercept them as they passed by. Within moments Alastor, Demitri and Streak were crossing the threshold into the main entrance hall of the Palace Matier. As Alastor stepped forward he was suddenly intercepted by another soldier dressed in the same fashion as he. Obviously it was another of Demitri's unit. Hushed words were quickly exchanged between them and Alastors face then fell. "What's wrong?" asked Demitri.
Alastor motioned for the cloaked soldier to leave then he turned to Demitri, "It's Issildia, she has arrived in Anier,"
Demitri seemed to relax slightly at this. But Alastor continued, "She came wounded... the healers are already doing what they can Demitri..." Alastor's voice faded to silence. "What happened!?" The once calm Anierian commander roared. His calm and collected exterior shattered.
Alastor's eyes fell, not making eye contact with his commander, "They don't know as of yet, but should she survive the night then we will know soon enough."
Demitri suddenly stormed past Alastor, the harsh sound of the air becoming saturated in electricty reverberated around Demitri.

Demitri tore down a corridor that was connected to the right side of the main entrance hall. The dull sound of heels hitting the stone floor echoed throughout the hall until all fell silent. Demitri stood frozen in the doorway of the Healer's Chambers. All of the beds within this large chamber lay empty...save one...

A female Anierian draped in the robes of a healer, sat next to the bed that Issildia lay in. Most of the wounds had been bandaged, and yet blood continued to soak through the linen cloth that bound the wounds. The healer at Issildia's side was replacing the bandage that had been wrapped around Issildia's left hand. When the bandage was removed a grievous gash could be see, that ran from Issildia's index finger to the middle of her forearm. Before any could inspect the cut further the healer bound it with a clean bandage. Without a word the female healer then began replacing the blood soaked bandage that bound a wound in Issildia's abdomen. All the while Demitri stood motionless in the doorway of the healing chamber...for some time he did not speak as he watched Issilia's unconscious form. Finally he spoke as the healer finished binding the last wound. "What...did..this?"

The woman looked up at Demitri, she looked to be one of the most ancient of the healers in Anier, her face crinkled in a frown, "We will not be able to tell until she wakes...if she wakes...." the woman remained silent for a moment then spoke again, "But I doubt that is the answer you seek am I right young one?, ... but if I were to tell you what I thought happened, I would tell you that this is the work of a necromancer, and no ordinary one at that......"

"Ryera..." hissed Demitri with venom. The elderly healer then stood and without a word she hobbled from the room. Demitri then stepped forward as though walking in a trance and kneeled at the side of Issildia's unconscious form. "I should never have allowed you stay behind" he whispered...

((OOC: if you wanna just be the guards that would be great.... I can't seem to come of with a good battle sceen or a scean where she needs to deliver the message.))

Chehero inspected her torn clothing cursing under her breath. She had to secretly pass many traps and other gateways that obstructed the great city of Aneir and she had not done as well as she had hopped however fine enough for her she had made it through the trails in one peice. " damn letter.... message... thing," she cursed heading off. She was to arive here in aneir to deliver a message to the princess. " royalty." she sneared again brushing off her damp cloak.

" watch your tougn here Chehero," Wokada gently warned. as the tail still hung like a necklace around her neck, Chehero looked around at many of the taller buildings.

" now if I where royalty waiting a message where would I be hidding." Chehero already knew the answer to her sought out question. she was already carefully making her way to the Royal palace of Mateir when she stumbled on several of the gaurds, who quickly intercepted her path. " damn, " she mutterd again as their eyes fell upon her. She had made it this far by herself, and being a prized huntress and worrior she was not going to fail at her simple task of delivering a damn message.

Streak had ran along side Demitri. As he saw Issildia in the state she was in tears began to well up in his eyes. "This is all my fault. If it hadn't been for me she wouldn't be in this state." The tears in Streak's eyes began to slowly drip across his face. This is the first time in a long time that Streak had cried. The last time he'd cried was when he was a child of about 14, when his parents were murdered. He couldn't believe what had happened when he found the news. His parents had been his only relatives. He then thought that everyone who he had ever been involved with in some way had been harmed. A healer came over to comfort him, but he shouted, "STAY AWAY!!! I'M NOT SAFE!!!" Streak began to back out of the door and ran. He didn't know where, he didn't know for how long, he just ran. Guards tried to stop him, but he just pushed past him. As he made it to the edge of the city he fell on his knees. And yelled. His words were inaudible, but the message was clear. Who ever had done this to her woul pay. His eyes went from watery to a strange dark red. His sadness turned to anger. His mind was a mess.

~As the Guards that lined the pathway that led up to the palace sighted Chehero they instantly drew their weapons . "What business do you have here...Speak quickly!" Their leader commanded.~

As Streak departed from the chamber, Alastor turned as if to follow him, but a sharp glance from Demitri caused Alastor to remain where he was, "Let him be Alastor."Demitri said , before falling silent once more. For some time the two Anierians remained motionless, only the sound of Issildia's shallow breathing could be heard. Finally Demitri stood and turned sharply to punch the opposing wall, when he drew his hand back his knuckles were bleeding slightly. "I should have never let you stay behind!" he shouted with anger.

"Don't...you ..dare...blame yourself Demitri..."whispered a faint voice. Demitri suddenly turned, "Issildia..."

Katlyn had been wandering for a while, after her last escort job had been finished. She had extremely valuable information for the Anier Throne. Thought sensing was rather vaulable at times. Since she could pick up thoughts from a distance, she knew that Larovia was going to attack. Getting back into Anier was the hard part. Recalling how to get in from memory, she found one of the boats. The reeds made it somewhat hard to find, but she managed.

Katlyn removed the boat, and noticed that there were more missing then from when she was last here. Better not think about what that ment. Tucking her blonde hair behind her ears, she breathes a sigh of relief. She could let her ears show, at least for a while. The lake water way always peaceful to her.

The boat moved out like it was supossed to, Katlyn just sat back and her boat and relaxed. After what seemed like forever, the shore stared to grow in the distace. The boat came to a stop, and Katlyn stood. After being qurried, she got through. It wasn't Alastor, but one of the guards. She is let into the stairwell.

She walks down the stair well and into the arch. Having passed through the arched passage way before, the magnicient arch and the hallway. Arriving apon the jeweled gate, she pushes it open, wonder how much had changed. It had been several years. Instead of staring at the towers like anyone from out of Aneir, Katlyn headed for an Inn. She rents a room and goes to sleep. It can wait till dawn. When dawn comes, she leaves and heads towards the palace.

((I'm in! Hurray! Thanks Crow))

"damn gaurd im here to deliver a message to Lizzera. I demand you let me through now." noice in the distance warned her of something as someone rushed by in what appeared to be a very emotional state. but she quicly ignored it turning her attention back to the gaurds. " And I was told it was to fall into no hands but hers." Chehero snapped before they had a moment to comment. She was tightly gripping her staff. No way where these gaurds just going to let her by, at least that is what she suspected from there continues stare and untrustworthy stance.

The Guards looked at Chehero darkly and the Leader of this group stepped forward, "On who's behalf are you delivering this message?"

As their commander stepped forward, one of the guards, that was robed in a crimson cloak suddenly drew the bow on his back and slid an arrow from the quiver at his hip into place, the tip of the arrow suddenly sparked to life, a flame dancing on the silvered head of the arrow. Obviously this Anierian was of the kind that held domain over the element of fire.

"Speak quickly" commanded the leader of the guards, "For my friend here has little patience with intruders."

Chehero rolled her eyes and shook her head she too was loosing patients. "Nicholas Remos, is the one that sent me here to deliver the message in person, to lady Lizzera." Chehero shifted her weight slightly, she was getting annoyed with then. She to placed an arrow in her bow. not as a challange but in case the one guard did aim the weapon at her she could easly divert the attack.

At the mention of Nicholas Remos the Lord of Keirdon, the robed guard with the bow lowered his weapon. The captain of the guards made a slight motion with his hand and the guards that had surrounded Chehero, departed. "If you are indeed carrying a message from Lord Remos then the council will be most interested to see this message, though I doubt that Lady Mateir would see you, for she does not take kindly to visitors."

"figures and thanks, for letting me pass unharmed." Chehero bowed lightly, "however I did not expect Lizzera to take to me anyways." It was true she had not expected a warm welcome of any sort or this to be a simple task. For if it was such a simple thing. then lord Nicholas would not have sent her on the earand.

"however," Chehero said sofly before continuing on. "may I ask directions of the wereabouts of Lady Lizzera?"

Streak suddenly noticed a figure standing near him in the shadows. The figure was not in shadow form, but was still hard to see with his pitch-black cloak covering the figure entirely. Streak felt some familiarity to this figure. The figure didn't appear hostile, though he could be mistaken in his messed-up-mind state, but definatly mysterious and powerful. The figure then came out of the shadows and approched Streak. Streak couldn't remember this figure, but knew it was very powerful. He could sense the figures emmense aura. When it was only a metre away it raised its hand and Streak fell unconcious.....

~"If you wish for an audience with the Empress then you would do best to seek her out in the western wing of the palace... some distance beyond the Chamber of Healing lies a stair case that leads to the royal audience chamber. Though as I have said before, it will be difficult to gain an audience with the Empress , she prefers to leave such things for the Council to deal with." The captain of the guard paused for a moment then sheathed his blade after throwing the hood of his green cloak over his head, casting a shadow over his face. "You are free to enter the Palace Mateir, though my soldiers will be keeping a close eye on you...I bid you Farewell, Messenger of Keirdon..." The captain bowed slightly " may the light grant you guidance in darkness." Suddenly a rather strong wind came into being around the guard as he stood normally. For a moment the wind wrapped itself around him, then in a final gust the guard disappeared. When the captain of the guard vanished with the wind, the air around entrance to the palace calmed to become still once again... ~

Demitri kneeled once again by Issildia taking her uninjured right hand into his own, "You're awake...I was afraid that..."
"Spare me Demitri," said Issildia sharply, though still she struggled to speak. "I have been wounded far worst than this..."

"Still" said Demitri, "You could have been killed,"

"Actually, I would be dead had not my enemy decided to spare my life, I do not know the nature of this mercy but it does not bode well..." said Issildia, her breathing becoming more shallow as she spoke.

"Who attacked you?" Demitri asked.

"Damien Ryera..." said Issildia tiredly, "He was in his element and his power over necromancy is far greater than mine to begin with... he could have killed me...but he did not."

"Was he the only one?" asked Demitri.

"No," whispered Issildia, "Luin Ryera, the leader of that clan was there as well, it was he Demitri that stilled his younger brother's blade..." Issildia took a slow deep breath before continuing. "He told me that before this was over, I would know why my life been spared."

Demitri's gaze had hardened as he came to his feet, "Rest and heal Issildia, we will get to the bottom of this soon enough." Demitri then released Issildia's hand and slowly existed the room.
As he drew even with Alastor, Demitri spoke, "Stay here and keep watch, let no harm come to her, I will return soon."
Alastor nodded to his commander, "Where are you going?"
Demitri then strode off, in mid-step he spoke, "I am going to find Streak, Perhaps he will have some clue as to why the Ryera's wanted Issildia alive...

Demitri quickly made a sweep of the palace in searching for Streak then decided that the Anierian soldier must have left the palace grounds.
Demitri called upon three of the warriors in his clandestine unit to aid him in this search. Of the three Anierians aiding Demitri, one held domain over fire, another, held domain over earth, and the other held domain over wind. The three warriors were robed in the colors of their element, crimson, bronze, and green.
It was not long after Demitri had sent out his warriors that they had located Streak...who happened to be unconscious. While the Anierians that held domain over wind and Earth lifted the unconscious Streak so that he could be taken back to the palace, the Fire Elemental along with Demitri were suspiciously watching a shadowed portion of the great wall that guarded the city. Either something was hidden within the darkness or something had been there only a short time ago...

Katlyn walked up to the main gate of the Palace. Open, good. She took a deep breath, then walked in. Calmly, yet purposfully walking towards the front doors to the palace. She kept her shields weakened, but still there. Then, she remembered her ears. She pauses, and pulls her hair forward to cover her ears. She blushed a little, and walked forward. She hadn't forgoten about her ears for a long time.
