Alex smiled and nodded as he took the bones from Calista and thanked the spirit of the fishes that gave their lives to feed them all and threw the remains into the fire. Alex coughed as his face blushed as Ewan made the comment about him not saying he did not like it.
"I suppose not. I know you meant it as a sign of caring Akira. No harm was done. Don't let my surprise refrain you from worrying in the future." Alex said as he coughed slightly to emphasize his point.

Calisto would sit there as she looked at the water of the lake. “I need to wash the blood off my body. I’m going to go over there a bit. I won’t be far from everyone.” Calisto would stand up wobbly and walk into the lake as she did. She would come to sitting own in the water just at the edge of the lake so that she was within view of everyone should anything go wrong.

Ewan nodded as Calisto went to the water's edge. It was good to see her up and moving already; that meant that his spell worked like a charm.
The healer turned his attention back to Akira and smiled. She looked very happy sitting next to him. This princess was probably the sweetest, most polite person he had ever met.
"So, Alex," said Ewan, looking at the shaman, "Since I'm sure you don't want to hear the ramblings of an old geezer, would you like to share with us some stories of your travels?"

Akira looked up at Alex, she nodded in agreement, a gleam of childlike eagerness still shone brightly there. Akira sighed, sinking a little farther down Ewan's side. She blushed, sitting up quickly. "I am sorry." She told him, feeling the bumps returning painfully to her arms. Akira looked calmly at Alex, eager to listen to his stories.

"St-stories of my adventures? I'm sorry both of you but from whatever I can recall of my life has been lost in the pages of my past. I fear most of what I have experienced up to know is researching my ancestors so I could gain some control over my own abilities. One of my first memories were of spirits of the city calling out to me. In a matter of time I was able to focus my mind to tune some of the spirits out but it is still refreshing to some to a more natural scene to get away from the constant babble." Alex said a little saddened. "You see spirits are in all things. Even things created by man whether they know it or not.

Calisto continued to sit in the water till she started to panic. She looked to find a new wound on her body. A weapon was there as she would slump into the water. How? She didn’t sense anything as she looked towards the others. Did the assassin attack using some new move that she didn’t know of?
“That should take care of the sleeper. A wound to the stomach with a sword.” Nadia would rise from the waters as she would rush the trio not in the waters with a sword in hand. She had just stabbed Calisto in the stomach. But did not see what Calisto did, in order to save herself.
Calisto would heal herself quickly to stop the bleeding, but it would cost her. The unconsciousness would come quickly as she sunk beneath the surface of the water towards the bottom of the lake. Her body would rest on it like before but unlike before she was just unconscious.

Akira watched Alex with a fixed fascination. Tears welled in her large eyes. "I am sorry, so so sorry to hear that. Do you know why Mr. Alex?" Akira asked watching him, "Do you know why you can't remember your past?" She thought about another things, and looked alarmed from Ewan to Alex. "Your life is a book!? How did you lose the pages, will you die because of it?" She was really worried now, that was obvious by the wrinkled etched into her brow.
Akira heard something, the slight squish of feet running over the wet grass. She heard a splash, and looked up to see Calisto fall into the water. There was another person with her. Another woman. Akira felt a chill run though her. She felt a foreboding sensation emanating from the woman. With her ind already in a disarray she could only seem to watch the woman running at them with a bloodied sword in her hand.

"That's not quite what he means," Ewan said, hugging Akira a bit more. "It's an old saying here. We often compare our pasts to a book, but they're not really physical volumes." He turned the princess' head to face him and smiled. "Besides, he's alive right now, isn't he?"
At the same time as Akira, Ewan heard the sound of Calisto slumping into the lake. He saw the other woman approach and rose to his feet. He cast a small protection spell on Alex, in case he needed one, and addressed the attacker. "So you're the unknown assassin targeting miss Calisto?"

“So what if I am, doesn’t matter now. Get her if you can. She should be dying by now.” Nadia would disappear then as the demon grinned leaving behind only a poisonous gas about where she was to choke and kill any that gets near the lake. She wanted to kill anyone that saved Calisto.

Akira also jumped to her feet, she crowded closer to Ewan. She growled softly at the woman. "Ewan," her voice was again fearful, "How can we save Calisto? What is that around the lake?" She began to step curiously towards the water. Poison was not something she knew of on the moon.

Ewan held Akira back. "Don't get close," he said. "That's a poisonous gas, and a deadly one at that. This is something my protection spell cannot deter."He turned to look at Alex, unable to think of a plan. "Alex, do you have any ideas?"

Calisto knew something was wrong when she regained consciousness. ‘Wind spirit…blow…’, she had to help those above as she lost consciousness again. Her breath luckily was not lost while in the water. Instead she finally began to float up towards the surface as the wind spirit did as she commanded. She commanded it to remove the poisonous gas near Alex, Akira, and Ewan. It began to absorb and destroy the poisonous gas to the point that finally the gas was gone. Calisto would the finally appear herself on the water floating face down, but unconscious.

Akira gasped softly. She looked back at Ewan and forward again to Calisto, begging her to surface. She watched the gas slowly dissipate. She saw her now floating on the surface. She pulled away from Ewan and ran to the water, once again walking over it's surface to Calisto. She did her best to lift the woman out of the water, and carry her back to the shore. "Ewan, will she be alright?" Akira asked, laying her down on the shore, and kneeling beside her also.

Ewan knelt down across from Akira and examined the unconscious Calisto before him. She was breathing and not bleeding. "She should be alright," he replied. "However, if the demon's attacks are going to persist at this rate, we'll need to give her a blood transfusion.
"Not just any blood will work, though. We need some that is compatible either with her race or magical element. Calisto appears to be half dragon and half genasi, a being in tune with a particular element. judging by her aquatic affinity, her magical alignment is either ice or water, two that are very compatible."

Calisto eventually would awaken as she looked up at Akira and Ewan. She didn’t speak any as a set of wings appeared upon her back. Silver wings at that. They appeared to be dragon’s wings though she was green haired and the like, her eyes were silver as well. She couldn’t move an inch though. She had used too much energy to help the others. Her body needed time to recover as she fell back unconscious again.
