This year we're doing trains apparently and trying to go more BOA style rather than traditional. We're playing (at least) 2 movements with music from the Matrix and we're going to have props of trains tracks that are like 12 ft high O.o

Bon Jovi songs. xD
I do believe that I've heard enough of these three.
Living on a Prayer, Dead or Alive and You Give Love a Bad Name.
I wake up and all I hear is " SHOT THROUGH THE HEART, AND YOUR TO BLAME, DARLIN' YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME."

this year in Texas is the 4A marching band state year so we're doing The Amazing Innovation (but we're calling it Inspire :]) it's a space themed show with music from Gustav Holst's "The Planets". it is pretty freakin' amazing.
here's a nice mp3 file of it http://www.inspiremusic.com/shows/AmazingInnovation.html
as of right now, we have movements 1 and 2 on the field. by sept. 25 we should have the whole show on the field. it's gonna be pretty awesome :]

My band is doing a show about the Tour de France. It's similar to the Blue Stars': Le Tour- Every Second Counts, in which we are buying the same things their color guard used, and our show is called Le Tour.
And just a random tidbit, our BD tried to make us sound more french by example and did some weird arm motion and said "What is this, French? Homosexual French?!" XD

And now, ladies and gentlemen, introducing the pride of Cousino, the Patriot Marching Band! Led on the field by senior drum majors Nathan McClain and Hub Stowe, and junior drum majors Jordan McClain and Holly Steinburger. This year, the Cousino Patriot Marching Band pays tribute to the late King of Pop, the one and only, Michael Jackson. The band begins their tribute with the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back", followed by the heartfelt "I'll Be There", featuring junior trumpet soloist, Shane Lawrence. The band continues their tribute with "Never Can Say Goodbye" made famous by the Jackson 5, featuring junior trumpet soloist, Susan Gleich. Finishing with Michael Jackson's one and only, "Thriller!". Drum majors, is your band ready? ... Cousino Patriot Marching Band, you may take the field in exhibition.
smile That's the intro we get from the press box. Then we play our songs, stopping only to switch the main drum majors. OH BUT THEN WHEN WE'RE DONE...
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Cousino Patriot Marching Band! The Patriot Marching band is directed by Jeff Cutter, assisted by Colour Gaurd Coach, Dawn Hanley. This year, the Cousino Patriot Marching Band will make their 3rd visit down Woodward Avenue to be part of the 83rd AMERICA'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!
Pwn'd, bitches. biggrin This will be my 3rd time marchin' down Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
