Raven felt the need to at least try to help her. She reached out and placed her hand on the fallen woman's cheeks, closing her eyes she searched her mind for the answer to the problem. She felt like this was her job, but she didn't know what she could do, or what was wrong. She shook her head, a tear falling down her cheek. How could she help. "I would like to help." She said softly, "But I don't know what I can do to help her, I don't even know what is wrong." She was confused, and feeling lost in the crowd that had formed.

“It’s the feathers young one. They cause her intense pain when she absorbs them into her body. She is slowly taking in all the pain of the planet for the final sacrifice. It’s the legend being reborn again. I’d explain this further, but this diner isn’t the place for it.” Solzeni noted the apprehension in Lance’s voice and the uncertainty in Raven’s as she took her hand off Nyma’s chin.
Rage would leave the room as he went about checking on other patients of his that the gang had.

Lance's face contorted into frustrated grimace.
"If she wants to sacrifice herself for her own twisted ideas then why stop her? I don't know if you've noticed this but the world out there is not exactly a pleasant place to live in. I have seen people out there losing their lives every day because this world suffocates the hope from their lives." Lance said trying to control his anger. "I try to help Raven alleviate a small fraction of this pain and you suddenly bring it full swing in the one place that is strongly bound to a time when the world was a better place."

Skog listened quietly until he could no longer bottle up his annoyance. "You would help her," He said indignantly, "but not me? My forest is dying, and you're just-" He stopped himself short of what he was about to say next. "You humans are so selfish." Mumbling angrily, Skog smashed the glass of the doors and walked out. The hummingbird had been waiting for him outside, watching carefully. It twittered impatiently, before he replied, "Our salvation does not lie here."

Raven looked up at the man who had been with them when she met Lance. "Sir!" She called after him. "I am sorry!" She stood up tears filing her eyes. "I don't know if I can help you, I don't know if I can help anyone!" Her voice cracked with emotion. "I want to help!" She called after Skog. She bowed her head, her short brown hair fell over her face and she wrapped her arms around herself. Her arms shook with her tears.

Solzeni would gently put her hand upon Raven’s shoulder. “Easy young one. You are fine as you are. You are not in the wrong. He does not realize the power within Nyma as she is now. If she took the time to truly rest and let her body recover, she could save his forest by herself. She needs but the energy to do it. He just fails to see this and instead is in self-loathing. You however, are a half-angel and I can smell it upon you like I can tell Nyma is the angel of legends. Child, you have done nothing wrong in your wish to help others, in fact I think you can help Nyma. What she needs most is a friend. I believe that will tear her from this path of destruction and allow her to see that maybe she can break the chain of destiny and find a new way to save the planet with the gathered feathers without the sacrifice of her life.”
Her eyes then looked at Lance giving him a simple look of noting his words. She listened carefully, but her concerns were in the girl and Nyma. She wanted to assure that both would be alright.

Skog's anger overcame him, disrupting the magic he had used to create his human disguise. Fortunately, he was near the city limits when this happened. He did not bother to see if any pedestrians saw his monstrous shape. He grinned suddenly, something so inhuman that it seemed to have escaped from a nightmare. "I'm tired of asking the angels for their help. I shall solve this problem, by destroying the source of the problem," Skog announced menacingly. "Hummingbird," He said to his companion, "Do you remember where the flaming man lived?"

Seshuyin was drifting aimlessly afloat in a quaint lake surrounded by mountains, the Agnes mountains. This is the place where he can get away from others and be at peace. He twirls his finger in the air and made tiny streams of the lakes water shoot up and make random movements.

Lance sighed as he looked at the other patrons of the diner. Everyone looked a little nervous and he knew how they felt.
"Listen Raven...I can't tell you what to do. I wish I could tell you what to do but I told you I would escort you this night so where you go I will follow." Lance said in a gentle fatherly way. "However perhaps we can all sit at the booth and get something to eat first before we are kicked out for making a scene."

Raven nodded, "Alright." She said softly looking back at Nyma. "But surly we can't just leave her there." Raven said looking up at Lance and Solzeni, "Even if it is just for a meal." She stepped towards Lance, more than anyone else here she felt closest to him. She knew him better than the others. "Thank you Lance." She said softly, standing beside him.

Seshuyin stayed adrift, fully clothed, for a while longer before diving down into the depths of the lake. He kicked with his boots hard to get some good speed.

“She won’t remain on the floor. I’ll carry her to the booth. Just show me the way.” Solzeni smiled gently at Raven as she picked Nyma up off the ground. The sleeping woman was like a child in Solzeni’s arms. Solzeni could only smile at Nyma as if holding a daughter she never had. “Please lead the way.”
Nyma continued to sleep in unconsciousness even in Solzeni’s arms as it seemed one of the feathers from her wings seemed to glow slightly. Her voice however began to resonate with a power that would flow towards something that she felt was dying. “Heal forest…please oh powers of the wind and healing. Feather of light guide my powers…”
“What is this light!” Solzeni would gasp as Nyma’s power would exude from her body and flow towards the forest that Skog came from. It’d be a healing force possibly strong enough to heal it, but what cost would it take from Nyma? That is what Solzeni feared.
Rage continued to check on patients before returning to Kaz and Jack. “Has she returned yet? I can’t help but fear the worst if it takes this long to find and return her.” Rage was worried about Nyma especially if she used her powers to do anything.

Raven nodded, she quietly returned to the booth she and Lance had been at. She slid into the seat and sat there quietly waiting for the others. She sat as tightly against the window as she could, hoping to make room for the others.

Lance moved in next to Raven careful to not squish her. Their food had arrived while the discussion occurred. Lance was just happy that the mood lightened slightly from the drama at the entrance.
"Do you have enough space Raven? I don't want you to feel uncomfortable or anything. I can even let you sit on the outside if you wish." lance told her calmly to avoid causing her anymore stress.

Skog raised an eyebrow at the hummingbird's response. "I will give charge of our forest to you for awhile. If any other trees fall while I am away, tell me their names. I will remember them," He said with a horribly malicious grin, "As we destroy the human city." He took on the shape of a deer fawn and sprinted towards the Agnes mountains, far from his forest.
Many nights passed before he reached his destination. He came to a lake, then changed out of his assumed shape. "Seshuyin!" He called out to the still lake, knowing that the man he was looking should be nearby.
