He nodded, trying to keep his eyes open. He was still a little confused, but he knew that this fox was calming him somehow. He let his eyes drift shut again, calmer now then he was before. He slept peacefully now and rested well. His dreams were no longer linked to his attack, but instead to the fox that saved him. He slept for hours upon hours before he awoke again. He opened his eyes slowly, expecting to be alone. He was surprised when he saw that the lovely fox was still there.

Vergil smirked a bit amused by her rambling. "Perhaps so." He then went serious for a while. The dark fox was happy that no one else was listening in since he was a bit embarrassed himself to be asking this of her. "Do you have a family?"

Pumpkin blushed and was a little taken aback by the question. "All the creatures here could count as family from time to time but to answer your question, family in a biological sense, no. No mate, no parents, no child. I hope to have one though, one day, if someone can accept me as I am, all the funny colors and all." Pumpkin was staring off idlely now, and blushed even deeper when she realized how much she had said. "Sorry, guess it is a bit more of an answer than you were asking for."

Karin gave him a bright smile. "I am ever so glad that you are feeling better. You had us worried for a while. And that lady, her name is Kazuyo. She is the one who takes in all these different creatures and gives them a place to stay. I was her fox here. Though she had plenty of these whimsical creatures by that point. She is really nice and cares for us. She owns all these lands, the forest, the streams, the mansion. It is her own little pet paradise that she has created."

Karin shook her head no. "Lady Kazuyo paid for these lands to be private and their are police around the outskirts of her lands her watch the borders because of all the rare creatures that live here. Any poachers who try or do get in are arrested and there are sweeps of the forest to make sure no traps were laid about once a week. We try to take care of each other here, and if a poacher or hunter is spotted, the alarm is cried and we notify everyone as fast as we can and call the cops. We have a whole system." Karin explained.

Pumpkin giggled. "Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I do not remember my family so I am sure I had a mom and dad at one point but they were gone before I could remember them. What about you, do you have a family and parents?" she asked curiously and walked to stand beside him, trying not to get embarrassed by her mistake.

Pumpkin smiled. "I am sure someone will love, maybe someone like me. You are a nice guy behind it all though a little rough around the edges. Just as you said I will someone, I think you will find someone equally as special. I mean, I like you, so why shouldn't someone else? What is wrong with you that would make you unlovable?" she asked, not quite realizing all that she was revealing.

Virgil raised his eyebrows a bit shocked at what he had just said. He sounded like he was trying to pimp her. How could he? He sighed for a second. "I'm sorry...I'm really not the best of foxes to talk to. I make others feel about as uncomfortable as I am about these questions." He paused for a second a bit red from blushing. "Because...I think I..." Virgil trailed off for a bit knowing that he was going to get a slap if he said the whole sentence most likely.
