Kyoji shook his head. "I don't know for sure." He said. He touched a finger to her neck. "She still has a pulse, and she's breathing. All we can do is have her rest." Kyoji said.

Mara nodded slowly, "Yes, hopefully we can find it soon, I don't want you hurting anymore."
Cho nodded as she sat back. She wished there was something more that could be done.
Ayaka tilted her head to the side, "Do you know her mommy?" she asked softly, "Kyoji-san? Do you know her?"

“I think I’ll find my headdress soon. I’m going to sleep some more.” Sakura then would fall back to sleep. Her body seemed unable to stay awake anymore as she did this. Her body just was tired.

"Okay sis you still seem to have a lot of energy. Why don't you take the first watch tonight and I'll rake the second while Sakura sleeps." Gouki said very quietly in Mara's ear.

Kyoji nodded slowly. "I do know her Ayaka-chan." He said. "She is a very proud warrior. I don't doubt she will a bit indignant, but she will accept it eventually." He said examining Ayumi. "I see no actual wound on her... this was the work of something else." He narrowed his eyes, in thought.

Toki mimicked Kyoji's facial expression. "This will help?" He asked curiously, then thought of what Kyoji had said. He ran back up the tree however, before his question was answered. Toki's tongue flicked the air quickly.That sword is danger, no good for anyone, he thought to himself.

Mara nodded. "Sure thing Gouki-chan!" Mara said as she plopped down on the ground. She was ready to keep them all safe. Picking up a fruit she began to eat it.
"What do you think it is that hurt her Kyoji-san?" She asked looking at the woman. She saw a sword at her side. "What is this?" she asked reaching for it. "It looks like your sword Kyoji-san!"

"Thanks sis. Remember only a few hours I don't need you completely exhausted as we travel tomorrow." Gouki said as he kissed Mara's forehead.
He took a blanket from his pack and came over to Sakura to put it so both of them could benefit from it. Sometimes when they find a safe spot Mara and Gouki get a chance to sleep like this under a blanket and unaffected by the world.

Sakura would continue to sleep soundly. The first time she could without fears. She didn’t know of a blanket being over her as she leaned against the tree. Her chin was against her knee. This was how she was sleeping as she moved a little to get more comfortable and eventually would lay completely down.

Kyoji nodded and went to examine the sword. She had two swords, one was a sword of no particular specialty except that it was made by a master sword aker and had excellent balance. The other however was in a sheathe with similar marking to Muramasa, except for different colors. "What were you thinking!" He whispered to her. "Were you that concerned?" He asked, though Ayumi was still unconscious and couldn't hear.

Ayaka reached out to touch the one that drew most of Kyoji's attention. "This one looks like yours," she said touching it.
Cho was busy checking Ayumi over, hoping that she would be alright.
Mara nodded. "Of couse Gouki-chan! Thank you! Sleep well too alright big brother." she told him kissing his cheek.

Ayumi's eyes flickered open, and her hand reached to her katana, but she neither had the strength or the intent to do it. She immediately saw Kyoji's face, looking very seriously at Murasame. "Kyo.... Kyoji..." She said slowly. "I... think I should tell you that my original intent was to fight you for it.... I took the other spirit sword because I though I would have to fight you and Muramasa, and needed even footing. I was a fool taking it." She said.
Kyoji looked at Ayumi sternly. "Indeed you were." He said crossing his arms. "If you could seal Muramasa... why can you not seal Murasame?" He asked her.
"Its.... linked to me. I've tried... its taken me as its host... like Muramasa did to you." Ayumi looked away and saw the young girl touch Murasame's hilt. "Don't touch it!" She said. "It will hurt you, even if it is sheathed. It is dangerous. I need to recover my energy... but Murasame saps mine." She said laying her head back, but not able to sleep.

Ayaka jumped back screaming. Tears filled her eyes. She held her hand as if she had been bitten. She ran other mother wrapping her arms around Cho and crying. The woman's quick movements had scared her.
Cho rubbed Ayaka's back soothingly. "What happened?" she asked trying to keep calm, but trying also to find the source of the problem. She tried to look at her daughter's hand fearful that she had been bitten.

Kyoji looked at Ayumi sternly. "You need to calm down. You need to rest, more than anything else." He said to her. "Now rest. We'll make sure you last the night." He said.
Ayumi closed her eyes. "I am sorry little one. I just don't want anyone hurt by the sword." She said apologetically. Ayumi soon fell to sleep, roughly at first, but soon soothed.
Kyoji sighed. "Well... that happened." He said moving back toward the Cho and Ayaka. "Did Murasame hurt you? Or did Ayumi scare you, Ayaka-chan?" He asked her concerned.

"I think she was just scared." Cho said softly as she stroked Ayaka's hair. "There is nothing wrong with her hand, her mind may say so, but I don't think that she actually touched the sword." Cho knew Ayaka wouldn't tell them what had happened for a bit. "Well there goes bed time." She said softly as she looked at her daughter with a motherly love.
