Seon Hitsuji how about a bump contest ? a good way to make this guild active cool 
Well, a "traditional style" bumping contest would be quite difficult to moderate, since people could so easily cheat by purposely "numbering" their bumps wrong.
However, one of those bumping contests where the first person to post on certain pages (like, the first person to post on page 100, then the first person to post on page 200, etc.) , is definitely an idea worth considering :3 Those contests are really quite simple & quick to set up, & would require very little effort on the Crew's part compared to the time & effort that most other types of contests require. &, as you mentioned, contests in which a bunch of members are posting bizzillions of posts can do nothing but benefit the guild :3

Endless Tektek Contest comeback?
[I could help with anything you would need if you decided on bringing it back. I mean call me nerdy but I figured out that tomorrow [[or technically today for me, but you live in DC [[[lucky]]]]] is officially six moths since it was 'suspended by you :3]

Here's an idea I came up with that's really fun and won't cost you a dime!
Make it a lottery! Those of who want to play, donate 1,000 gold to user in charge (make sure not to spend it and record all the usernames to be included in the drawing). 1,000 gold is the equivalent of one chance to win. People can donate more gold to increase their odds (2,000 = 2 chances, and so on). With each entry the person will be assigned a number. Then, when it's time for the drawing, the one in charge will use the random number generator to select one number from 1 to x (x being the number of entries). When the number comes up, the person who was assigned that number wins all the gold!
Numbers given start at 1 and count up for each entry. (For example, if the first person to enter donates 3,000 gold, that person gets the numbers 1, 2, and 3, respectively.) Of course this idea requires serious bookkeeping to record each user who enters, the lotto number/s they were assigned, how much they gave, and the current standing of the jackpot.

oozu Writing contests. I would SO submit writing. biggrin Extreme Rant contests, you chose a subject/topic, and ppl must rant. The best-est best rant-er gets gold!! (u would need judges) "Finish the Sentence" contests, a person writes the beginning of a sentence, and ppl finish it. Best sentence-ending wins!!! (judges) Um... *thinks* Ridiculous Excuses Contest! Someone writes a reason for an excuse/something, and ppl write excuses. Best excuse wins! (judges) That's all I can come up with! X_X
Although, there is also some other ideas for a writing contest.
Describe The Scene - This would need judges. The contest leader would post an image or photo on the contest page. Could also be a link. The contestants would have to describe the image in as much structure and detail as possible. The judges would decide who wins after the deadline - which must also be set and stated by the contest leader.
Song Prompt - This would also need judges. The contest leader would submit a variety of songs to a list. These could range from pop, dance, hip-hop, rap, electro, rock, heavy metal, grunge, classical, jazz, country, ect...
The contestant would select a song from the list and the contest leader would have to select a specific line from the lyrics. This line would be the prompt inspiration for a short story or poem.
ReWrite A Story - Now I know this one sounds a bit like plagiarism, but in all honesty, it really isn't. We constantly get ideas from places, people, entertainment, interests and culture that already exist, so you could just look at it this way. The idea is that the contest leader with post a short extract from a chapter in a book. The contest leader must also state the basic summery of the story, three or four characters - appearance and names and must be major characters - and what chapter the extract is from. The contestants must then rewrite the extract in one paragraph. They must change things - can be characters names, place names, scenery, characters dialog, ect... - and add things - characters, places, plot or subplot extension, powers/abilities, interactions, ect... But this must fit into one paragraph and the contestants can not change characters appearances - unless their clothing style - or the plot - but can extend on it. The next contestant to post will continue from this. The story extract will basically only be used as a breif. The contest has to have judges. There must be a deadline set and stated for this. The winner will be the person who has written the best structured paragraph.
