Mikako arose and followed Kyoku-sama silently. She shut the sliding door behind her very quietly.
She had never seen the kimono storehouse before, and she was hoping she might get a peek. Kimono were so exquisite. Even the thin cotton one she had on now was more beautiful than anything she had owned at home.
She kept her head bowed as she walked slightly behind Kyoku.

"Run to the kitchen closet and fetch the stool, then come up stairs to the end of the hallway with." Kyoku nodded towards the girl and headed up the stairs to wait.

Mikako bowed her head and quickly went into the kitchen to fetch the stoll as she was bidden. She found it in the cabinet, but it was akward to carry. She settled on holding it upside down by the lags, and moved back into the main hall.
Mikako dashed up the stairs, being careful not to trip. she stopped in front of Kyoku and set the stool right side up. She stepped back, with her head once again bowed in respect.

Koodori steps into the okiya with one single, small and raggetty suitcase. She looks around her unfamiliar surrounding and is unsure of whether she should walk into one of the rooms or wait until someone notices her and speaks to her. "so this is where I'm going to be for the rest of my life" she thought... and wonder if she'll ever be reunited with her family again.

Yokome responded to the maiko that was joining them with a smile and a small nod. She then took another sip if her tea.

"Set up the stool and climb up to the top of the closet. There will be cases, drawers really filled with the obi stretched out on wooden bars.
Very carefully pull out the second to the top one. Inside should be a black silk obi brocaded with gold thread vines and red blooms. Take it out and place it on the rack the kimono is hanging on in my room. Once you are done you may return to whatever you were doing." Nodding, kyoku pushed open the doors to the closet and left her to focus on the task with a smile as she headed downstairs.

Mikako bowed in response, and watched Kyoku walk back down the stairs.
Mikako carefully placed the stool in front of the closet. She got on the stool, but realized she was still not tall enough to even see the cases. She stood precariously on her tip toes and craned her neck. She reached her arms and felt for the second to the top one. She pulled it out halfway, and pressed her fingers inside. She could feel silk, so she carefully pulled out an obi.
The weight of the obi sent her careening off balance, and she gripped the closet door with one hand to keep from falling backwards. She clutched the obi, and managed to push the drawer back in. Fianlly she got off the stool, happy to be on steady ground once again. she carried the stool and the obi to Kyoku's room.
As instructed, she placed the black and red obi over the rack. she then returned the stool clumsily to the kitchen. she silently returned to the tea room, to sit in the back once again.

Kyoku stepped inside the tea room quietly. "Hope you didnt have to much trouble getting the obi down Mikako-san." Giving the maid a short nod, kyoku headed towards the table and bowed to mother. "Mother, I was hoping perhaps you could tie my obi for me tonight in that waterfall knot of yours. No matter how hard i try, i just cant seem to tie it like you can!" Kyoku giggled softly at her own inability and waited for her Okaa-sans reply.

Okaa-san smiled and laughed softly. "I'd be happy to help you, Kyoku-san! One of these days I will have to sit you down and show you how!"
Okaa-san took a sip of her tea and absently petted Gi who had settled in her lap. "Kyoku, how many younger sisters do you have at this time?"

Yokome smiled and gestured to the maid to pour her some more tea. She took a sip and listened to the others talk. She still needed an older sister as well.

A young woman walks in, and exchanges her sandals for slippers in the doorway. To the first person she sees, she bows delicately and says "I have been sent to this Okiya. It is my honour to come here. I am Sadayakko."

Being starry eyed, and drinking tea she could hardly believe where she was! She had longed to become geisha since she first time she saw the artisans perform during a fall festival at the age of 3.
"Good evening, Kyoku-san. How are you this evening?" She asked pleasently, as Kyoku entered into the room.
