@RD - You are completely correct.
@Lynod - Actually, there's no form. You can post a profile listing your attributes and do a personality and background section, or do a freeform RP intro, or whatever. Your actual "application" will be in the thread. [edit says:] the quest thread is so that the current caretakers can review who's questing at a glance and get an introduction to your character before RP.

Cool! In that case I shall await the details of the plot.
For a moment I thought Rika said Rini and remembered that I'm the "Royal Healer" from one of the really old guilds. The badge says "Princess Rini's Royal Healer". Funny how similar some things are.
