Actually, Carlos was starting to get rather groggy. But he was determined not to fall asleep. He was so comfortable though... The unicat yawned a little and stretched before curling up again.

Adrian smirked slightly when Carlos yawned. He knew the unicat was falling asleep. It was only a matter of time now before the younger anthro is out like a light, or so the rat thinks.

The unicat's eyes were starting to roll when a particularly loud explosion on-screen startled him, sending him into the air. He landed in Adrian's lap, clinging tightly to his shirt, eyes wide and wild, tail ... well ... very, very poofy. Carlos blinked, ears swiveling, before climbing back down. "Er. Sorry," he mumbled sheepishly.

Adrian chuckled softly when Carlos jumped into his lap. "Something scare you?" He pulled the rat back into his lap and wrapped his arms around the other. "So you don't get scared again." Was the rat's explanation.

"Uh. Well, I..." Carlos was blushing profusely, mainly because there was little he could do to deny his fear, especially since he had been dozing off at the time. Of course, he was awake now, even if he was still a bit groggy. "Thanks," he mumbled into the rat's shirt, returning Adrian's embrace.

Adrian sighed and moved slightly, to get better situated with the unicat on his lap. The rat wondered when he became so soft. He really hoped that he was only this...sappy? when he and Carlos were alone. It wouldn't be good if he was this weak outside of here. He shook his head to get rid of those thoughts for now, and hugged Carlos.

The unicat's oversized ears cocked lightly when the other sighed, and he looked up to watch Adrian. There was something amusing about his awkwardness when it came to just being comfortable with someone. Carlos was in no way condescending, in fact his expression was one of adoration as he smiled at the rat before carefully leaning his head back down on Adrian's chest. He was already purring again.

Adrian was really content, and realized that the movie will end soon and they will need something else to do. He wasn't sure what else they could do.

Carlos snuggled up close, nuzzling against Adrian's chest, which is a bit of a feat when one is uni-horned. He wasn't really thinking about the movie at the moment.

Adrian looked down at the unicat nuzzling him. He watched Carlos for a little bit, admiring the beauty and strength of the younger anthro. And yes, strength; it took a strong guy to come back to a boyfriend who almost killed someone and injured you in the process of almost killing someone, in the rat's opinion.

After a little while, Carlos glanced up at Adrian. He almost asked if he had missed something, it would have been easy for him at this point, but instead he smiled and said, "You look really happy right now. I'm glad."

Adrian shrugged. "I guess I am...content at least. It's nice that you not only came to visit but have actually put up with me for this long, and nothing had gone wrong yet. Also, the fact that no one's come looking of you yet, is a good sign...I think."

"Well... I suppose I didn't have to stay. I did come not knowing who lived here. But you know I actually like you, so hanging around with you isn't as bad as you seem to think," the unicat lifted an eyebrow and chuckled before leaning up to kiss Adrian's nose. "And ah... they don't worry about me because I'm always wandering around. If I'm not working on a car or something in the garage, I'm usually walking around. Like the other day I was at the dump looking for parts... Or you know, I might go to the store for some music or a game. I don't always tell them where I'm going, but I have my phone with me."

Carlos blinked and straightened, ears perking as he looked out the window too. But he didn't want to go! "I suppose I could call home... tell them I'll be watching movies with a friend." He grinned and stuck his tongue out. "It'd be the truth if we put on another movie."
