Divinus Cruor Dark_Mana Cruor - Your 'the other day' was like almost a week ago. rolleyes how does that change the fact that it was on OTHER day? If you say 'the other day' it means the day before yesterday or two days before yesterday, not longer than that. If you want to say it for a longer period, you should use 'one day', because that doesn't define the actual date. Seems like I shouldn't have said anything in the first place. Sorry.

Divinus Cruor is this an english grammar rule? I don't know, but that's what I've been taught. If it's wrong, I apologise. Well I guess I should apologise anyway for trying to be a grammar nazi...

It could be whee I always thought it was because I have a thing about bad grammar and stuff lol it might be a british thing, because americans use "the other day" to signify something that happened recently. doesnt matter how long ago it happened, as long as it wasnt more than a month ago. more likely, americans are all just wrong, but think we're right through the principle of common usage. just like it's supposed to be "as i said" but so many people say "like i said" that no one bothers correcting them anymore. common usage combined with laziness transforms bad grammar into good grammar xd
