I know what you mean though. I find the ones I don't work on as much and just go fast and messy are better than the ones I try to hard on and spend too much time.

Sorry about that.
But yes, spending too much time on a picture completely ruins it for me, because when I get to close and start fuzzing over details I loose sight of the whole picture. And then you step back and realize you just spent five hours on a picture that's CRAP! D:
But if you do it quickly and it's STILL crap, at least you didn't waste as much time :3

So far just the quick doodles I'm doing on paper are 10x better than that yaoi pic I drew. xD
And I spent like 5 hours on that hing. = |
Yes. Mouse art...very..very long.
