Moon Child hadn't been back on the ground long when Jinx caught up to her. Laughing as she was hoisted off her feet she didn't remember ever being this happy. Ever having this much fun. Though she was on the move often she was still growing tired from the random burst. She hadn't even slept since walking here from the other town she was from. As the ground quaked that did nothing to stop her laughing until he set her down. Trying to catch her breath she ran a hand through her wild hair before readjusting the shirt she wore to insure it stayed in place. Somewhere out in the garden her pack lie forgotten amidst the flowers where it had fallen off during their fun after the attempted run away. Yawning, she grinned playfully, "I could use a nap." Raising a hand to her forehead she fell back with more grace than a truly passed out person could ever manage as she lie their before opening one eye and trying not to smile as she peeked at him.



Dusk shrugged saying in a nonchalant way, "I guess this is living proof that life does indeed go on." Rain didn't argue having falling into her own world of wondering what death was like. Or would their even be an after life for her. Dusk took Rain's inattentiveness as an advantage stealing the slice of pizza off her plate and taking a bite.

More than a little thankful that Moon Child had decided to take a break. He plopped down in the grass nearby, his tailbone still sore from the fall out of the tree. It was fortunate he was still wet from the fountain, as only now had he started to feel the heat from the midday sun. A thin film of sweat had started forming on his whole body. (Sexy right? lol.)

As he saw her crack her eye open, he chuckled a little to himself, saying "Don't think you got me with that act, sister," in between breaths. He thought for a moment of a way to get out of the sun and relax, and remembered the hot springs he had read about. "Hey, um, I know this is awkward to ask, but, I heard there were hot springs here, and I've never been to one before, would you wanna go check it out?" He blushed a little bit, a bad idea in this heat, but his face was red anyway.

Jinx started to get up when he suddenly remembered how he and Moon Child met. "Hold on, do you have a spare swimsuit, since I, you know," he paused, searching for a good word for the damage he had done, "killed your other one?" He thought for a second, trying to find a solution, "You could borrow some of my stuff, if we can find it in the mess I made after my little uh," the memories of his anger flashed before his eyes, immediately turning to shame, "temper tantrum..." he finally said, quietly.

With a brush of his hand through his hair, Jinx tried to brush that thought away. He was past that now, he had a friend, and he hopefully wouldn't be in danger of bringing the whole school down on a mood swing again. "Sorry about that, again," he managed at last, hoping not to bring up bad memories.

When Zerlina reached the hot springs she was disappointed to find that two other people were there. She didn't dwell on it; there was nothing she could do about- or was there. A small smile crept onto her lips as a plan formed in her mind. She lowered herself into the water and her face resumed it's normal expression of discontentment. She let herself sink neck deep in the water and she closed her eyes.

Moments later a frog with corroding flesh jumped into the spring. Then another. And another. Soon a few dozen of them were swimming around in the water. Zerlina didn't seemed the least bit fazed by them and she continued to sit with her eyes closed.

Jinx had been paying attention to Moon Child until she gave him the mental image of wearing only swim trunks, but he quickly shook that out as he saw her running back into the school. He quickly followed and headed into the disaster area that he had turned his room into. He kicked his clothes around until he found his swim trunks, black, knee length board shorts with large flourescent green flowers on them. He also put on his skin- tight black surfer shirt. He didn't like showing that much skin, he had been as ashamed of his body as he was of his powers, but this complemented his thin, slightly toned form.

When he was done changing, he stepped out of his room, which was still sans door, and waited for Moon Child to come out of her room. He hoped he would be able to control himself when he saw her. He wanted to avoid both making a total a@# of himself in front of his friend, and destroying what was probably her last pieces of swimwear.

Adjusting the bikini in the mirror she ran a hand through her hair a couple of times making sure it was out of her face before opening the door and slipping out shutting it behind her. Looking down toward his room she ran a couple of feet before stopping and doing a twirl in front of him, "What do you think?" She asked with a smile displaying her spare suit that she really didn't wear much in public. Looking him over she grinned playfully.

"Sorry... Just, never been good with people." Dani said almost appologetically, glancing back down and getting up. She wasn't going to intrude or get in their way. She left the cafeteria, going outside. She was content just to walk around, her arms wrapped around her stomach. She wasn't paying much attention to where she was going, winding up beside the lake. With a soft sigh she sat down on the edge, pulling her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them, and setting her chin on her arms. She let herself get lost in thought, oblivious to everything.
