Layna stared at the ring sitting idly in front of her. She took the ring in her hand and stood, followed closely by Gabriel as she walked into Razu's bedroom. She gently took his hand and laid it in his hand. "Give me a while. Though...my answer isn't no. So don't get sad, alright? It is....just hard for me to think about right now, and I want to answer truthfully when I do without my mind telling me otherwise." She murmured, kissing his forehead lightly. "I've known you for so long, Razu. It's just....surprising to me, that's all."

Razu smiled then said finishing his pizza off,"Ok. I gotta go deal with Lucife's body." He sets the ring on the desk and walks out. He heads to where he left Lucife's body to find it gone. He paled,"Crap. This isn't good. It really isn't."

Layna walked to the window and looked downward, and her eyes widened as well. Where was the body of this Lucife? "Razu? You sure he was dead?" she asked, looking down at him.

Razu nodded,"Yes I'm sure. No way he could have hung onto life the way I took it. Someone else took. Another Lycan. One who is not part of the NewYork Pack."

Kon blinked his eyes and shook his head looking around. "Ow my head hurts!" He said petiing Shenai. She woke up as well. He noticed a ring on his lap and grabbed it. They walked into Razu's apartment and sat down. Kon was rubbing his temples when he asked,"So Razu is Lucife dead now?" He looked around at the room and saw blood on the floor. He saw Layna looking down out the window. "Layna what happened?" Kon asked his face suddenly very serious.

Layna turned her head toward Kon for a moment before she looked back downward at Razu. "This is really...not good." She whispered, her hands gripping the sill. The only thing that kept her from destroying the wood, was the fact that they would stare. Really, only Steffon had figured out where she had received this amazing power. "Razu, get back up here. We'll figure this out." She yelled down at him, before she turned from the window to sit on the bed, her eyes wide as she held her lazing son.

Razu narrowed his eyes and ran towards his apartment building wall. He jumps up against the building pushing off immediately. He bullets towards the opposite building the back again ping ponging against the two buildings till he reaches his window. He croutched there his face dark with something unreadable. Suddenly he jumps into the room and sits on his bed. He shook his head,"What a pain."

Layna moved forward toward him, and hugged him lightly, resting her forehead to his chest. "we'll figure it out." She murmured soothingly. She wondered why Lucife had seemed so intent on destroying Razu, but her heart constricted when he had set his sights on her and her son. He wouldn't get close enough to get them, she knew that truly.

A mailman drove by the apaartment door and stopped suddenly, realizing this was the right address. He grabbed the letter and waddled over to the door. He found the mail slot, and slipped the letter through. The envelope had several wet drops on it, and read a single word on the front, DELAYNA.

Layna blinked, but didn't move from where she was, even as Gabriel squirmed from her lap to hop down from the bed. "I'll get it, mama!" He said quickly, racing past Kon to the door. He picked up the envelope in his little hands and ran back to his mother, who held out her hand for it. Her name written on the front gave her pause, for she knew not who...yes she did. The smell coming so strongly off of it. She knew it too well. Ceon. She slowly pulled away from Razu to walk to the window to sit upon the sill, before she tore the sside off of it, and pulled out the paper inside.

Dear Layna,
First off, I want to apologize for any grief I caused you before, or after my certain death. I didn't mean to scare you, though I knew you would be shocked because of my return. I should have been dead 200 years ago, 143 years ago, and 1 year ago. No matter what happens to me, I never seem to fully die. You should know, Daiguren "killed" me twice. The first time in the docks, where he slit my throat, and in the park. I should have told you, but I don't tell anybody about my past. I hope that Razu loves you and cares for you as much as or more than I did. And please tell Gabriel about me. I want my son to know of his true heritge. And know, I won't stop loving you.

Kon stood up and said," I was turned the other way. I never saw him coming. I remember turning around and then I was down. The next thing I remember was waking up and walking in. And finding a ring on my lap." Kon rubbed his head and walked over to Layna. "I believe this is yours" he said pulling the ring out of his pocket.

Layna pressed a hand to her mouth, tears gathering in her cloudy grey eyes as she read and reread the letter in her hands. She had never actually expected to receive a letter. But then she remembered the look that had been so lividly sent at her. He hated her, she knew that for sure. Her choice...they had destroyed what he had wanted. A family, hope for a better future. She sunk down to the floor, the letter dropping to the floor next to her as she pressed her hands to her eyes. She was so confused. When Kon approached her, she slowly lifted her head to look at him and the object in his hand. She blinked for a moment, before she let out an inaudible cry of confusion.Relax, she told herself quickly. Everything is alright...Everything is fine.

A single piece of paper floated down through the open window and landed in fron of Layna's lap. The edges were ornate and the writing was in silver ink. There were only two words on it, Central Park.
