1st April 2009
I'm here! And thank you once more for your support.
Well, I'm going to set a new goal soon as I have started a new story and decided to make it my new project. It's the longest story I have had to get used to.
I've decided to go for a main character as an Incubus, a species I haven't covered yet. It's all in a Demon invasion, new hierachies and a rather sexual storyline.
On my life, I have my granddad's funeral tomorrow but hopefully everything will be going fine. I am overloaded with coursework (why I haven't updated). I have two weeks off from next week so everything will be sorted here! 3nodding

See that's what I tell everyone and they think I'm bonkers. They are like how can you not want to drive straight away?! Easy. Haha.

Nice! =D
I decided on American Literature and Creative Writing. I hope it's a good course. =S It's the idea that I'll be moving like... three hours away as well. I don't like it. XD
Lancaster is good for English and Creative Writing, as well. East Anglia is... the best? Nottingham Trent do it as well, but it's not so good there. The grades are only CCC, but it's good for a backup choice. =)

The UEA is probably the best but I haven't got a lit A Level so they probably wouldn't accept me for their writing course. Ack. So you set on Lancaster now?

Nope, UEA. I couldn't tear myself away from the place after visiting it. XD
Lancaster is alright, too, but the grades are the same so there was no point accepting that as an offer. I went for the UEA American Lit and CW. ABB. You get a year abroad, too, which is pretty damn cool. :] I'm hoping to really expand my writing over the next few years, and I think this will be the way to do it.
And yeah, UEA are kinda picky when it comes to who they accept. I applied for their English Lit and Creative Writing course, and even though I'm predicted AAAA they turned me down for that course (though they did offer me straight English Lit; I had trouble deciding whether to go for that or the American with creative writing. In the end the idea of creative writing won out. XD). They have so few places it's pretty sad, really, and about 450 people apply for those 35 places. gonk
Though, I did get onto the American Lit one, which only has 24 places. So, my writing can't be THAT bad. X3
[Oops, essay post. XP]

To be fair, I don't really think my own writing is good enough, but I'm hoping that by going to such a place where they have published authors on campus for most of the year, and regular literary festivals, I might receive the support I need to get better. :3
Oooooh, film. I reckon that would be pretty cool to study. =O

PMS: She is brilliant at film, and writing but she uses all her time for editing films now, not writing sad
Wellll, my writing. Let's just say I realised my limit. I started the story I today named Carnality, so see how much I could really write, test myself. However, the other day when I got to the rape scene, I wrote it and felt sick with myself. When my friend read the cut version, she liked that and made sense so I binned the scene. I feel much better after it.
Now I need to do some heavy research into the psychological effects. The problem is, my character is an Incubus and feeds off sex. So that changes things.
The joy. Haha.
