It was quiet up where she was all that could be heard was the strange screatch coming from her dragon. He was obviously not enjoying thier time there but She didn't want to leave. "I'm sorry little guy, but we are staying here for a while." She said looking at the sky.

The Azure Knight
((It happens to the best of us... unfortunately, don't worry about it too much))
Hakuma began to grow irritated of these two characters. "So then, why are you following me, seeing how you clearly didn't say wait up?" He spoke sarcastically. "If you cannot help me become a Holy Knight, then I say our business is through here." Hakuma said straight forward, not holding anything he didn't want to say back. "There's no other reasons for wanting to follow me. I asked if you knew where the Holy Knights are, you said no, I left. So if it wasn't that, then why else would you want to be following a character such as me?" Hakuma simply let go of everything he felt that needed to be said. It seemed his opinions became a little more loose the more he was exposed the the world. With the monks, it was an easy Yes, No, or question followed by a yes-no answer, but now he seemed to have grown just a little more accustom to the worlds way of speech with numbers of thoughts and opinions.
"Well fine then, forget you," replied Nexus. Already, this guy is beginning to get on his nerves. What's his problem anyway? He'd normally accuse him of his youth, but in retrospect, the dude looks older than him, so the whole "freshman" accusation won't suffice. Maybe the dude is just plain dense.
DJ's starting to turn more and more on Nexus' side with this. Before, this guy looked like a person of interest. Before, he looked like he could really be someone of worth, but clearly he was wrong with that impression. How easy it is for first impressions to be overturned!
Dismissing the person as a typical nuisance, they reset their destination to some place else. After all, he said they have no business with him, an in truth, they really don't. So why bother?
Turning down an alleyway, they journey across the lengths of the city once again. They've done it numerous times before and often end up finding certain areas they haven't known of before. The city's area is vast in size. However, the unknowns of the city don't seem to be enough to satisfy the boredom of the two. After a certain moment, everything looks the same. A building's a building. A house is a house. A streetlight's a streetlight. Nothing's new. It's all recycled from what's already there. DJ and Nexus need something more. They need to find something cool to do for the day, before the day fades away.
"So what now?" Nexus asks. DJ's always been the one with the plans. The leader of the two.
Unfortunately, DJ hates being in the leader position. He doesn't like for others to do what he does. It makes him feel like they're trying to copy him. He hates being copied. "I don't know," he answers. "You think of somethin'."

"Perhaps I am wrong about the Holy Knights...." Hakuma said to himslf as he made his way in the direction outside of the city. Hakuma began to set his thoughts on the Dawn Striders. The Dawn Leader seemed nice enough, a leader such as herself couldn't mean that the Dawn strider was as bad as he thought. But before he could go back to he Dawn Striders, he wanted to modernize himself with the equipment of today's world. With that set in his mind Hakuma made his way out of the city. The barrier forcing him out out the City for good now that he had a different mindset. Hakuma wasn't exactly sure where he was going, but he did remember the direction he went with the Dawn Leader, so Hakuma had to work with that. ((leaving)) (((Awww....this probably could have been avoided. Oh well what's done is done)))

((Perhaps, and perhaps not. Oh well, like you said, what's done is done. Actually this could turn out into a really cool mini-story, so long as you don't kill off your character again. xp ))
This is new. Nexus hasn't really been one to think before his actions. It's all impulses. Whatever he feels at a given moment, he runs with it. He's the personification of Sigmund Freud's id. What to do, what to do? He even stops to take a moment of pondering to himself. The city's boring. So I guess the only thing left is the outside, but if we went outside, it's almost guaranteed that we'll run into a demon. Can I beat a demon? Can DJ beat a demon? Demons and Nexus. I doubt that'll turn out too well. You see, about two years ago, he and DJ decided to see what was on the outside. What did they find? You guessed it, a demon! What did they do? The only thing they knew, fought it. How did that turn out? In short, terrible. But, I gotta admit... fightin' that thing was pretty fun.
Going on with that thought, he looks to DJ. He didn't bring his sword with him. That could complicate things. Frankly, Nexus didn't bring his sword, either. So before they set out to do anything of the sort, they must certainly arm themselves.
"I got it," Nexus finally comes out and says, "but we're gonna need our blades."
"A fight?" DJ responds. All that thinking, and the best he could come up with is a fight? Maybe this is why he's the leader. Well, seeing as how it's the only idea they've got, he might as well run with it. "Alright I guess."
"Cool," Nexus says. "After you do that, meet me at the front gate."
But oh how wrong DJ is. A simple fight isn't what's in store for them. No, this fight may end up being their last.
Demon Invasion.

Maix saw Sora fly above him holding Lee, but luckily she hadn't seen him yet. He quickly turned into an alley before she could spot him. "I'm not apologizing in front of that guy..." He muttered.

Sora landed on the ground. "wow...the food smells really good here..." She said to Lee. "I'm going to go find Maix I'll be back...you should get some food... " She said then went to go find Maix on her own. Her dragon quickly picked up his trail so she just followed it's lead. She ended up in passing an alley where the dragon had turned in. "he'd better be in there... I'm really hungry and I gave him all the money... I really want some icecream...." She whined.

As Maix walked through the alley, he sensed Sora's dragon behind him. He knew Sora wasn't too far behind. Eventually, she appeared as well. "Hey..." He said softly.

Sora let out a sigh. "good....it was right... well I found the food... I left lee there and told him I'd catch up latter..." She said then walked up to him. "So what's up... you weren't just upset out of the blue....something about him upset you.... what was it?" She asked him seriousely. But she still acted in a kind way since she could be harsh or cruel to him even if she wanted to.

"No one calls me a fool, or anything like it!" Maix exlaimed. "I'll hurt anyone who does!" Maix found no insult more painful than being called a fool.

Sora grabbed his wrist and held it to where his hand was to his face and he could see the ring on his finger. "NO! He was only saying that maybe for once I could be right Maix!!!! You may be smart when it comes to puzzles but when it comes to people you ARE a fool! You know that's the trueth." She said obviously not thingking. She felt tears comming to her eyes. "You've changed!!! ever since they were gone you've changed!!! and you know it.... yet you act like nothing's wrong with you when thier is! That's why I'm trying to stay strong....and I try to stick up for you..." She let go of his wrist. "Maix.... I'm just worried about you... I don't want you to end up like dad... I don't want to lose you too." She said quietly.

Maix had become more angry now than he was before. "I'm a fool!? Is that right!?" He asked, gritting his teeth. "Then why don't you find someone who ISN'T a fool!?!?" He stormed past her, exiting the alley. "Maybe Lee isn't a fool!" He exclaimed as he vanished into a crowd.
