*Does not spare Xeno another glance as he flails into the dining room and throws himself into his chair at the head of the table, his cheeks tinged an angry pink* Ah, Godfrey - fabulous decorating. *Beams as he yanks a napkin from the table and loudly flicks it open, draping it over his lap* How good to be here in my dining room. In my home. The home Harry and I purchased as a couple. *Still smiling though his eyes are narrowed suspiciously in Harry’s direction*

*Blinks, arm hovering mid-airplane zoom*
........ um.... okay! *Beams and hides the fact that Gilderoy's words greatly confused him for some reason before turning back to the high chair on his non-Gilderoy side*
..... zoom zoom!!!! *Doesn't really have to coax Roddy to eat his parsnips, he just loves to do the airplane thing*
........ no one eats until everyone is seated! *Looks quickly around the room in warning, indicating the silver covered dishes in front of each of their seating areas, and then goes back to feeding the baby*

*Sits down in a chair to Gilderoy's right- not his immediate right, but one chair down, so that Adela could sit by her father and they could avoid any arguing, and tucks his feet under his chair legs*
And uh... how good to have you home! *Gestures towards the ceiling where there were stuck-on streamers, floating balloons, and a large banner reading 'WELCOME HOME!' that everyone seemed to have signed* ... as the banner would indicate.
*Stares down at his dish, wishing they were eating just so he'd be better able to ignore Gilderoy's 'looks'*
*Decides to follow Gilderoy's example and picks up his napkin, but merely sort-of unfolds it and sets it in his lap, not bothering to smooth it out so it actually fulfills more of its intended purpose*
*Determinedly doesn't look in Poppy's direction, but looks over at Godfrey*
Ah.... perhaps you should let Xenophilius finish feeding him, Godfrey? *Braces for the teenage angst/angerfest*

*Continues to glower at Harry for a few moments before turning away, instead focusing on the multiple personalized decorations; the corner of his mouth eases into a fond smile, Gilderoy reaching over to affectionately ruffle Godfrey’s hair*

*Begins to frown/pout at Harry, but it's interrupted by Gilderoy's ruffling- after which he gives his Papa a grimacing grin*
...... okay. *Hands the small amount of baby food and the spoon over to Xeno, and helps turn the chair so Xeno can continue where he left off*
Oh! Papa! *Stands up, and then looks around at the floor, and then gets on his hands and knees on the floor and crawls under the table*
..... how can they be so hard to- ahah!
*Pops back up suddenly at Gilderoy's side, holding two small presents*
A welcome home gifts! *Leans against the side of Gilderoy's chair and thrusts the gifts at him, beaming*

gonk Yes, how good. *Is completely frightened out of his shorts at Gilderoy's expression- feeling as if this is somehow familiar, but perhaps his mind is blocking out what's supposed to/might come next*

*Appears pleasantly surprised as the presents are offered, accepting them from his overexcited son* Oh - how nice. *Beams, looking genuinely delighted as he begins dismantling the first present’s packaging* This wouldn’t be bribe for more of those goats, would it, Godfrey? *Chuckling*
…Only two? Nothing from Harry? *Glances at Harry, his expression becoming cattish and haughty* Or does your present come later?

*Continues beaming as his Father takes the present, but then it slips into a small frown momentarily*
.... no... it's not a bribe. Bernard's my only goat, and I don't want any others. *Hides the fact that he's somewhat upset that Gilderoy thought he'd only give him presents to get something, and that Gilderoy seemed disappointed that there were only two presents*
.... it's a tie... see? I had to special order it! *Grins somewhat again, gazing down at the tie which was completely horrendous. It was Gilderoy's favourite shade of Lilac, and sewn into it were perfect replica's of Gilderoy's face- all moving, all pretty and smiling- and when a face flashed a smile, the teeth sparkled and lit up, so it could be worn in the dark and blind people for a good few hundred feet, at least*
*Glances at Harry for a moment, and decides to help him out, since he was looking rather miserable and he knew he hadn't been helping things at all- he hadn't even reminded Harry to get something though he had thought of it several times*
So do you like it? *Leans against Gilderoy a bit, and rests his cheek on his Papa's shoulder* The other one's sort of along the same thing.
*The second present was in fact a brand new tea cup, also lilac and with gold trim and swirls, and at the bottom of it was a moving picture of their family- Gilderoy, Godfrey, Adela, and Harry, all smiling and looking happy. Godfrey thought it would cheer Gilderoy up sometimes to see them at the bottom of the cup after he'd finished his tea........... plus he thought it'd be fun to get his Papa a fun, normal-ish sort of gift that other kids gave, a variant of a regular tie or coffee mug*

*Looks absolutely delighted with his tie, circling his neck with the fabric and fitting it to his collar immediately upon removing it from its wrappings; laughs in approval* Ha! Would you LOOK at that handsome devil?
*Turns his head to press a kiss to the top of Godfrey's head, hugging the boy around the shoulders in thanks* A brilliant present indeed, Godfrey - you've got my good sense for gifts! That will become VERY useful when you're charming yourself a pretty girl or boyfriend! *Beams brilliantly*
...Haha! Always completely full, isn't it? Naturally! *Cackles as he looks over the cup* And what a perfect family to be full with!
