"A bit of a demon, are we?" Lance said as he got up and brushed some dirt off of his clothes. He went over to the tree and removed the sword. It would have been harder but seeing as the tree was dead, Lance had no trouble at all. He turned around and said "So, I guess I'm gonna have to give you the end of our battle after all. I was hoping to put it off until the last possible second but I guess you can't wait." He prepared his sword but this time he had a different look in his eye, more serious than before.

Alayah arrived at a field, where she could see two figures that looked human enough. Their presences were vastly different; one was definitely Clyth, who currently had the demon for his present state. She wasn't sure that she knew the other presence. There was indeed a bit of familiarity about it, but she didn't know who it was. It was as if something within this other person's presence was the same as Alayah's. And that's when it occurred to her, for she hadn't sensed this in years: He is an Imariquan. Widening her eyes slightly, her attention was forced away from the new one as the grass under her feet turned brown and withered. From afar, she saw a demon flying toward her. This was a new one too; a minion perhaps, of the demon that possessed Clyth, for it was taking its orders. "So," she said, once the demon was within hearing distance, "the big guy was too lazy to come after me himself, so he sent his little minion to do the dirty work. I see how it is," she exclaimed, dodging the lunge of the being toward her.

The demon laughed. "I see you and Clyth know each other. Clyth is no demon, he is simply my puppet, quite a strong one too, that fight tired him, allowing me to take over, such a fool." He dashed at lance, he charged for a punch, but then kneed him in the stomach. He then released the punch and it hit him in the chest. "You are no challenge."

Lance staggered backwards as he spoke in a serious voice, "You think you're tough, eh? Well then, I may not be or have a demon but that doesn't make me any less powerful."He then charged towards the demon in Clyth. He was about to slash him with his sword, when he got behind him and kicked him in the back. He wasn't about to seriously injure him but as long as he could recover, he would attack. He went in for another slash and then seemed to disappear before reappearing and sending a devastating, but miscalculated, blow to Clyth.

Clyth grabbed Lance's arm as he went for the slash behind him, he swung him into the ground, then charged and electrical spell, and thrust his arm straight into his chest, and the electrical shocks coursed through his body...

If Lance was worried, he didn't show it. He raised his sword and said "You'll pay. Oh, you'll pay dearly." calmly. He thrust his sword into the demons arm and let the electricity flow from the demon, to, back to the demon. When the attack blew over Lance said "You think you can honestly kill me? Ha! I'll kill myself before you can bring me down!" At that, Lance thrust his sword at the demon, let go, and clawed Clyth in the back. He waited for it to get back in fighting position before he attacked again.

Clyth stood up, damaged, but he seemed to be unaffected by the attack. He took the sword out, and tossed it back to Lance. "It seems you are not just another fool after all, but rather a threat. I will give you your friend back for the time being, but remember who resides beneath him... Kamoon, leave them." Clyth said, suddenly he dropped to his knees. He screamed from the pain inflicted on him during the demon's control, blood flowed slowly from various cuts, especially from his arm, where the sword was thrust into. Kamoon looked at the Clyth, then ran away, disappearing from sight. Clyth hit the ground, unconscious.

Lance stood motionless in front of Clyth. A smile appeared on his face as he picked up his unconscious friend. He put him against a tree and started putting wraps around his cuts. When he got to the gash in Clyths arm, he sighed and tightly put a wrap around it. "Deja vu." he said as he got up. "Now then, what about that other being?" he turned around to see an Imariquan that looked a little older than he. It had been years since he had last seen one of his kind. He smiled and walked over to her.

Raiden Seymour dragged his feet down the worn path, weeds and grass clinging lightly to his jeans as he trudged through them, their leaves reaching towards the heavy sun, hot on the Imariquan's back. The troublesome weeds reached into the barren path, lightly coated with dust kicked up from the boy that held such a normal appearance. While he wasn't ugly, he most definitaly wasn't the best and could of just made it as a model if he had the willingness to try.
Shaking his feathered brown hair he paused on the outskirts of the city, blinking his blue-green eyes. These unsmiling eyes were by no means held any violence, hatred or hostility. He glanced about with these eyes, sensing the normal things. There was a demon somewhere, "When was there not?" Raiden mumbled under his breath. But, along with that there was something else... That he couldn't quite put his finger on. Something familiar. Raiden's Blue-green orbs glanced up at the sky, that always seemed to surprise him by being there.
By now, he should be used to it. How long had he lived here? Too long, always too long. But as it was now being back under would be worse. Too many prying questions and quizzical stares from everyone that used to know him. He shook his head, closing his eyes and he focused on that familiar presence. And with a shove to his uprising memories, tucking them back down, he moved off the beaten path and towards this being that brought back thoughts of his past.
(( Woooosh. <3? ))

((Ooh, that post was sexy xD ))
Alayah stood her ground. As the demon in front of her retreated shortly after, she didn't bother attacking. It was a minor demon, I shouldn't waste my energy unless my life is threatened, she thought in response to her reaction. There was definitely another Imariquan here. Alayah looked up from the grass and saw a boy walking toward her. He was about 10 yards away from her, but within hearing distance. "So, you're the one," she said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. A small wind rippled the grass that the sun's rays twinkled off of. It was mid afternoon, and Alayah was reenergized from her humdrum day before. She could almost feel an ounce of adrenaline in the form of excitement upon meeting this new Imariquan. "It's been a while, but I think we can both tell what the other one is thinking," she said with a slight smile. Her silver hair waved in front of her eyes with the flow of the wind. In the distance, cumulonimbus clouds were forming. It might rain in about 20 minutes or so... she thought. Alayah contemplated where to go if it rained. The places in question were simple: back to her house, or in someone else's. The sun was still shining brightly though, and it was currently in Alayah's eyes. Earlier, the demon was blocking it, seeing as it could fly. Holding up her hand, Alayah shielded the sun from her eyes and smiled at the other Imariquan. "So, what's up?"

Lance moved in closer until he was about two yards away from the other Imariquan. He then responded "The sky of course." jokingly. Well I was just in a battle with a demon apparently using my friend as a puppet. That's him over there." He said motioning towards the unconscious Clyth. "What about you? I haven't seen another of my kind in at least a year." Lance asked turning back to the conversation.

(( Whose? Not mine... >.>;; ))
Raiden stopped well away from what appeared to be two normal humans, the darkening sky an ominous background to the scene. He pursed his lips, tapping them with a finger as he stared, confused and bewildered. That presence that rose thoughts of his past, horrible memories that could create a wonderfully tragic play, was centered around these two figures. He narrowed his blue-green eyes, glancing back up at the sky. Was it by chance that it turning stormy just as he came across these two? Or could it be a warning, that perhaps a wicked demon set these two here to collect more of his kind?
None the less, he stayed where he stopped. Eyeing the pair with disdain a small frown forming on his angular face. If it was a trap, it would be best not to set it off. But, by perchance it was just two chatting Imariquan... Raiden couldn't afford letting it escape. Thus, he shook out his hands and rolled his shoulders a few time, dragging his feet across the grass as he made his way closer to the pair, but slowly. He made a small smile replace his light frown, though it did nothing to brighten his eyes. "Hmm... Hello?" He asked, tilting his head to the side as he watched the pair.
(( Ahhdhahaha. I feel like I'm not typing enough... ._. Sorry? ))

Clyth sat motionless under the tree, except for the rising and falling of his chest. He began clenching his fist... Inside his mind quick flashed of the fight went on in his head, showing the hits he took, and at the end when he regained control, where for the brief moment he felt dead.
Do you not see how willingly your 'friend' attacked you? He is a traitor, just think about your wounds...
"Shut up! Get out of my head you b*****d!" Screamed Clyth, he punched the ground, making it crack. His eyes shot open, and he rested against the tree, thinking about what happened.

((oh yes, yours xD ))
Alayah nodded at his remark about not seeing another Imariquan for a while. "This is a small town, so I didn't expect to see one... but..." Alayah furrowed her brow as she glanced around. Right then, she saw another one had crept up right behind her. Momentarily, she jumped back and widened her eyes. He had just said hello. "Oh, hello there..." she said, scratching the back of her neck subtly, "um... wow..." She really didn't know what to say. It was needless to ask the first one if he felt that presence, as she was going to do before she turned around. But he was an Imariquan as well. This was indeed a somewhat rare experience in a small town; being sandwiched between two others like herself. And all at once as well; yet she knew neither of their names! "Oh... um... my name's Alayah..." she glanced around at both of them. She had to whip her head around to see one, then the other, causing her hair to fly into her face wildly. As this occurred, Alayah felt it. She knew what was coming, ever since she realized that she was in the same place as two others of her kind. It was inevitable; demons. They were bound to be attracted to the presence of three Imariquan, not to mention the Blue Flame. Not only this, but it wouldn't be the normal sort of demons. The demons that would go after them were the kind that masked their presence and looked like normal humans. Or even worse, they could be disguised as a tree or a bug. These would try and creep into your subconscious and mess with your mind. They would alter your thoughts so that you would be tempted to lie, kill, steal, or worse...

(( So like, bunny walks up, but wait! It's a demon. *le gasp* ))
Raiden stopped about two arm's lengths from the pair. He flinched lightly as something was yelled, it didn't sound as if he man was too far way, much to the Imariquan's dismay. If there was screaming, he would much rather if it was as far away as humanly possible. He circled slowly, one foot crossing over the other after noting that the sliver-haired female had to look the opposite direction to see him and the other Imariquan. They trio made a pointed triangle now, him being the furthest away.
The Burnett eyed the graying sky with worry, as the presence of demons drew closer. He paled slightly at the feeling, but made no move to run. They had no reason to bother him, right? His lips curled up in a smile, though his eyes stayed cold, unchanging except that the color took on a hue of gray as the sky did. "My name is Raiden..." He forced his smile to grow, tilting his head again to the side. "You have such a lovely name, Alayah." Raiden said, tasting the name on his lips as he did.
