Kazuma was about to have another crack at the door when he heard hanabira calling out. He leaned over the balcony and looked down at her. " Nothing I should be doing..." He replied before disappearing from Hanabira's view. There was another loud crack and he reappeared again. " Almost done just keep lookout for a bit longer!" It was a poor effort at reassurance. As he went back to the door he wondered if she would bail on him. The lock was almost broken a couple more good hits would do it so even if she did take off he'd be able to get done before anyone found out what he was doing... He hoped.

Hanabira twisted her fingers around as she moved back towards the entrance of the apartment complex. She just needed to relax and not look suspicious. The girl tried to stop pacing and standing straight. Oh!! But she looked stiff. Leaning against the side of the building, Hanabira tried to look more relaxed, but she still felt awkward. "Mm," she hummed to herself as Kazuma told her to look out for just a little bit longer. Her olive eyes looked down the dirt streets and didn't see anyone still. What if someone did come? What would she say about the loud noises that Kazuma was making.

It was times like this Kazuma wished he knew more about his clans jutsu. A nice fire blast would make short work of this door that belonged on a fortress! For now he'd have to make do with brute force, though it was definitely something to think about learning in the future. " Alright door you better give up cause I'm not gonna!" He threatened before throwing himself at the object once again. Once again the door refused to give in and the cracking of wood was getting louder. He must be getting close to breaking the damn thing down!

Hanabira could hear the cracking of wood and grow nervous once again. If someone were to come up, she had to lie to them about something. She would have to say anything to get them to turn away so Kazuma didn't get caught doing whatever it was he was doing... which sounded like breaking down a door. Setting her finger on her lip and gently biting at her nail, Hanabira tried to think of an excuse... Hadn't BakaLao been to the district before to fix floor boards? Yes! That was a perfect excuse! Hanabira could say that the second floor was under floor renovations and the complex was off limits for the time being. It was rather late though... Would someone believe her? "Kazuma... The Academy is letting out, people will be coming soon," Hanabira warned the boy as she lacked confidence in her lying skill.

Kazuma heard Hanabira calling out again so he leaned out over the balcony to talk with her. " Alright, alright! I'm almost done you can come on up!" He said, hoping that was the truth. There was no more time to play around this door it was dark and Hanabira was right people would be coming home soon. " Hmph... No more Mister nice guy!" He said in a rather serious tone as he turned back to face the door. He took a run up and just before slamming into the door he suddenly screamed. " DYNAMIC ENTRY!'' BANG! The door hit the floor and Kazuma tumbled into the apartment with a smug grin. It was time to get to work. He disappeared into Tanu's bedroom doing god knows what while Hanabira made her way up.

As Hanabira stood, wishing that she could see farther down the dirt roads, she heard Kazuma call down to her that he was almost done and that she should come up. With her feet climbing up the steps silently with each incline, Hanabira watched as Kazuma shouted and slammed into the door. Hanabira jumped and brought her hand up to her mouth as the door hit the floor and Kazuma went tumbling in. "What are you going to do?" Hanabira asked as she tip toed over the fallen door to stand in the apartment. Hadn't all the Kun Kumo's lived in this apartment at one point in time? Bending down to pick up the door, Hanabira spotted Kazuma's name carved into the wood. She didn't say anything as she stood the door back up over the entrance rather crookedly.

" What am I going to do?" Kazuma repeated Hanabira's question out loud. He hadn't gotten past this point in the plan. " I am going to find inspiration!" He said confidently while making his way into Tanu's room. All he needed to do was find something to wreck that would really piss her off an easy task considering how short her fuse was. Nothing in the room really caught his eye which was dissapointing. He leaned back against a set of drawers and sighed to himself. Then it hit him. The drawers! All those new clothes she'd gotten since coming to Shimagakure. As much of a tom boy as Tanu was she'd grown into an interest in fashion and anyone would be pissed off if they had no clothes. " Perfect!" He cheered. Stepping to the side of the drawers the boy pushed them away from the wall a bit before giving them a firm kick, topping the object and its contents onto the bedroom floor with a loud crack. Apparently he didn't deem it important to fill Hanabira in on the plan as he went straight to work without so much as a word. Putting his Kun Kumo manners to good use he spagged a great blob of Kumo plasma onto the the clothing that had spilled out of the drawers when the fell. The propellant was in place he just needed a light, luckily he never went far without a match... The plasma burst into flames as soon as it was exposed to the lit match and it burnt brightly on its own until the clothing caught alight and eventually the drawers themselves. It was at that point that it really would have been wise to put the fire out but Kazuma never claimed to be wise. The next thing to catch alight was the rug which led the hungry flame straight to the bed and then the curtains. This was the point Kazuma realized that this fire could be a problem though it was well behind putting out. " That's definitely going to piss her off... Ah Hana-chan time to go!" he yelled before suddenly appearing from the room, grabbing her by the arm and rushing out the door. The pair barely made it out before the fire spread to the rest of the apartment. Yet another successful mission.

Afraid of what the answer to her question may be, Hanabira held tightly onto the necklace that Shin had made for her just before he left. Before she could say anything as Kazuma thought to himself, she felt a little more relaxed when he mentioned inspiration. Maybe Kana had given Tanu some teachings from the clan and he was interested in researching them? Hanabira thought to herself as she moved over to the window to gaze outside. It had gotten dark fast and she would have to be getting home soon. As Kazuma went into Tanu's room, Hanabira stayed where she was by the window. As she saw people moving around in the streets below, Hanabira ducked to the side so that no one would see her in the window of Tanu's apartment. The girl jumped when she heard a loud crash vibrate through the floor boards. Immediately, she went dashing to the bedroom only to see the dresser toppled over and a flame quickly burning on it. "Kazuma!" Hanabira said in a panic as the flame quickly spread to the rug. Before either of them could attempt to put out the fire, it had pretty much engulfed the entire room in seconds, Kazuma quickly grabbed Hanabira's arm and they made a mad dash to leave the building. Once outside, the girl's olive eyes gazed upon the flames billowing out the apartment windows. Hanabira couldn't believe that Kazuma had just done that... "We have to go get Kage-sama or Aya-sempai!" Hanabira panicked, turning to Kazuma with fearful eyes as the fire began to spread to the rest of the building.

The smoke signals from the apartment complex were rising high beckoning for any free hands to come and extinguish the flames. Running over the rooftops of the village, Aya came to a halt as she saw Kazuma and Hanabira outside the apartment building. Yuki had just warned her to keep a close eye on Kazuma. There was no doubt in Aya's mind that this was Kazuma's doing. Not calling out his name in anger or yelling at the two who were just standing there, Aya quickly began to use seals. "Go grab buckets from the well and start putting out the flames!" Aya shouted down rather calmly at Hanabira and Kazuma as she finished the seals to her Mizu Bunshin Technique. Four clones began to climb out of the well. Quickly, Aya did her seals once again and another four clones climbed out from the well and sprinted towards the flames of the building. "Start at the base of the fire. That'll be the quickest way to extinguish the flames," Aya called out as she felt a large amount of chakra leave her body while the clones grappled the burning building. Their liquid bodies sizzled against the hot wood of the burning apartment building.

 Smoke! Aya's shout triggered a cold fear that gripped Kane's heart, something that he hadn't felt since the Meho invasion. Even though he had no proof that Hana was really in the housing district, some part of him just knew that she was. She'd always liked Kazuma's company, after all. Perhaps it was his big brother ESP, or perhaps he just knew her so well that he could predict her movements. As he got closer to the blaze burning brighter and brighter, his cheeks feeling the heat, Kane could see Kazuma and Hanabira run out of the apartment building. He couldn't refrain from a split-second reproachful, annoyed look aimed at the two, but like Aya, quickly got down to business. Speaking of Aya, Kane was impressed by how the small lady took charge of the situation and the fire so quickly with her authoritative commands and considerable ninjutsu power. Well, it probably helped that she was the water element. Being next to Aya really made Kane feel inadequate about his own skills, but he put that thought aside for now. He sped to a nearby well and snatched a bucket swiftly from the side. Dunking the bucket into the well, he ran back and aimed the splash of water at the base of the flames, just like Aya said. Kane made sure to swing the bucket as quickly as he could when expelling the water so that the water hit the fire with maximum force and pressure.

The girl was holding tightly onto the red jacket that Kazuma wore afraid to move or take any initiative until Aya arrived. The chunin's sweet voice shouted over the loud roar of lames to reach Hanabira's ears. Her olive eyes turned towards the kunoichi that stood on the roof, looking calmly down and her at Kazuma. "Hai!" Hanabira nodded quickly as she did as Aya told her and ran over to the well. Kane-nii came running in as well and he shot a rather hurtful look at her and Kazuma. Hanabira wanted to open her mouth and say it wasn't her fault, but she didn't want Kazuma to get in trouble. "I'm sorry! It's my fault!" Hanabira told Kane as he sped over to the nearby well. The Yamanaka truly did feel that it was her fault for not trying to put out the flames when they started in the bedroom. Knowing that she would have to come up with a story somehow, Hanabira tried not to think about it as Kane and Aya quickly attempted to put the flames under control. Hanabira would try her hardest to help too. She couldn't run fast... She couldn't carry much, but she hoped that her efforts did a little to the fire.

Tanu arrived in a sprint. Since she wasn't as fast as Aya and Kane and it had taken her awhile to get to the housing district. Instantly she saw Kazuma just standing there like an idiot. "YOU DID THIS DIDN'T YOU!?" Tanu nearly screamed at her cousin as she didn't skip a beat and went straight to the well to grab a bucket right after Hanabira did. The girl's anger once again fueled her with energy to do the task at hand. As she took the bucket and threw it at the wild flames. "Move your a**!" Tanu yelled at Kazuma, really pissed off and blaming everything on him before anything was said to her. All her things were in that apartment! The scrolls that Kana had given her before he left, all her clothes and all the valuables she had from festivals and life in general. She just wanted to take Kazuma and throw him into the fire. Just to watch that b*****d burn in the flames would be so gratifying! "Why didn't you stop him!?" Tanu shouted at Hanabira as the girl came up to throw water on the fire. The girl really wasn't focusing on stopping the fire since everything she had was already lost.

Rokugi was walking down from the graveyard ready to go home when he noticed a weird light effect in the night sky. The orange light at the sky could have been simply a bonfire but the smoke coming from it was too much. The smoke was coming from the housing district so he figured he should go check. Upon arrival he noticed that the place was on fire and there where a few genins and students running around trying to extinguish the fire. With no time to lose the boy looked around for a bucket but couldnt find any. Seeing that he couldnt get any water he looked around trying to figure out a way to turn off. Thinking back on the desert he found the perfect thing. Running directly at the fire Rokugi started taking dirt from near the fire and throwing it with his bare hands to the fire. He could feel the heat on his face but that wouldnt stop him from helping. Just a few minutes ago he had asked for the strength to protect these people and he wouldnt back down on it.

Dropping down from the roof, Aya nearly blacked out. She had just used up a lot of chakra all in one helping. Not only did the hot flames make her warm, but the exertion of nearly all her chakra made her forehead bead with sweat. Rubbing her forehead with the back of her wrist, Aya performed the seals of the dragon, bird and tiger once more to create one final clone to run into the flames. She knew that they'd be able to put out the flames before it spread. "Tanu, stop it," Aya said weakly as the fiery girl turned to yell at Kazuma and Hanabira. Aya's clone slowly crawled out of the well and went rushing at the diminishing flames. Spreading its body like a bird would with its wings in flight, Aya let the clone tackle the flames inside, the embers were still hot where the clone fell, but there was no chance of the fire re-igniting from the inside now that everything was damp. Putting her hands on her knees, Aya breathed in and out heavily. "I'm out... of chakra," she said, her throat going dry as she leaned back to sit on the well. She watched as everyone worked together to put out the flames, except for Kazuma who just stood there. Aya looked over at him with half closed blue eyes. Silently, she was hoping that Kazuma hadn't done this... There was no way for her to stand up for him to her mother after something like this... Hanabira had said it was her fault. Once the last flames were put out and everything quieted down, Aya hoped to get the story from Hanabira and Kazuma. She knew that Kazuma wasn't a liar. If he had done it, he would tell them.

As Kanami approached the fire there was one thing she was at least happy about. This had nothing to do with Shisei. Her brain half expected to find the boy somehow behind this, but it was relieving to find that he was out a part of this. Not to say the actual cause of the fire was good thing. It seems that there was another troublemaker on the island. Albeit perhaps a little more destructive to the environment and more prone to collateral damage. Well all the little details could be found out later. The fire was beginning to die down and the Hyuuga youth felt she could take care of the rest. She saw Aya huffing and gasping for air. It was evident she used a lot of chakra to help douse the fire. How the seducer was not too sure, but like everything else that could be figured out later. Her form leaped on the rim of the well and the delicate fingers intertwined to create a seal. “Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!” the girl shouted. After that the water in the well erupted like a geyser and out popped four exact duplicates of Kanami. With that the five clones and the bona fide kunoichi ran towards the fire. Most of it was put out, thanks the team work by the other shinobi, but still some lingered. The major threat no longer the base on the outside, but whatever was left burning within. All six ran towards the building. Two clones sped ahead of the rest and did a diving tackle at the flames at the entrance. Once their bodies became consumed with yellow blaze the two popped, much like a balloon and their water soon engulfed the flames into nothing. The final four entered the building each going to different areas of the fire. After a few seconds what seemed like a battle cry was heard and small streams of water began to pour out of some windows of the dormitory. The remnants of the flames soon became extinguished leaving only a black building, charred and dark smoke rising into the air. After a few minutes the ivory eyed teen stepped out of the building. Her hair was upturned and blue streams stood on end like rough waves at sea. Some even had a darker hint to them thanks to the fire. This was only the left of her head. The other half was drenched making the dark blue jungle cover half of her face. Some of the water even soaked into her jacket and top. Lesson one. Sometimes you should not get too close to your water clone if it is prone to pop like a balloon and release its water everywhere.
As Kanami came out there were a few things awry. For one there seemed to be a few things in her palm. The other was that something was moving around in her mouth. After a second she spat out a small gold finned creature. “Gahh… Ok… whose the pirate here?” the girl asked as she opened her palm and let a small crumpled and partially burnt poster of a jolly roger fall to the ground. There was other things inside too, but she was not going to try and get everything. The only thing she made sure was that the no person or animal was inside. Well aside for some fish. The person who lived in that room will not be happy when they see their fish… The girl took out her personal mirror to check her appearance and nearly had a heart attack. The lovely peach skin was dusty with black powder as if the vixen had used ash to put make up on. Also… “My hair…” she began to sniffle tears coming in her eyes. It took all day to brush it…. And only fifteen minutes for it to end up in worse shape than this morning. The goddess of love truly had it out for Kanami today! With a huge sigh and hunched over posture the princess decided not to go all out repairing her beauty tonight. It was already too late in the evening to do hours of work. Instead her fingers just took out a brush and quickly stroked everything down to one somewhat neat layer. Next her forearm rubbed away most of the black powder from her face. The white eyes then peered into the mirror one more time. Well not excellently done, but at least people won’t think she just came from a cold mine.
The girl put away her cosmetic supplies and walked towards Aya. She gave the girl a pat on the back. “Aya-chan. Next time don’t run away from me so quickly. You don’t know how hard it is to run with my Byakugan activated. It is like running both forwards and backwards with binoculars on. I nearly ran into a tree trying to catch up.” the girl said with a heavy sigh and chuckle. Despite the situation no one was hurt, well no one that was swimming in a fish bowl anyways… For Kanami that counted as a victory for tonight. “You guys sure no how to throw a girl a party on her first day back.” Kanami continued to speak with a small smile.
