[Bardic Inspiration]

Dear Lady Katiana,

We got back from our first mission into Iuzian territory. It wasn't easy and I think...can't remember exactly, that I fell unconscious during a battle or two, but I feel really alive again. My combat style's changed a bit, at least Lady Yuko thinks so. She sees me trying to practice the new snowflake wardance that I keep wanting to master, as well as helping me practice new spells to learn. I'mma learn Haste as soon as I can.

Has Sir Donovan returned yet?

I have a bad feeling about the next mission being talked about if what Sir Sarvanick says is true. We're going to rescue a spy for Highfolk that's trapped in a slave village. I can't give away too many details right now but I'll let you know how it goes. I'm lucky my swords are enchanted. Mostly because the magic has been really useful against the demons and devils we're fighting.

Would you believe I fought some greenspawns? Apparently Tiamet must be out here or something.

But being out here, I've realized I've missed fighting a little. Combat really gets the blood pumping. I'll want to spar when I get home lots. I think in one fight Aurora fought for me... I blacked out and all of a sudden when I woke up I was in my white armor covered in blood. Sir Faralyn said he was glad it wasn't mine, but I have to focus on making sure Aurora doesn't take over all the time. I must have needed her though. At least the lust for blood was satisfied.

Has Sir Donovan come back yet?

I'm getting myself to be stronger, but... I'm not feeling the nightmares stop or slow yet. Maybe I'm not at that point yet, but... I hope I will be soon. Able to stop them on my own. Something in me says I won't be able to, but I can try right?

Dear Lady Katiana;

I'm staying out of trouble. Mostly. I feel the songs growing stronger as I practice them a lot and use them in battle. Maybe I've managed to loose weight too, but Sir Sarvanik says I eat too much for that to be true. I fought a few demons. They weren't too tough, well, they were, but our party was strong and we was gonna make it out alive.

I'm actually sending money home, make sure Anima can take care of the apartment payments for me okay? And buy food. I know I'm not there right now and I feel really bad, but I've actually been getting some good coin and feel like I can provide for them a bit. Don't worry, I'm saving it!

We're going back for more missions later. Might even get a trip to the Shield Lands, which would be really special! They don't like bards there much though.

Is he back yet? I'm expecting too much with that aren't I? ... am I? I hope he's okay. I haven't felt much like writing more music though. I don't know why.
