Now that Seraphim seemed to have left Zoe wondered what else there was to do. "Well, what should we do Grandma?" Her grandma's dancer had left as well.

Jazz looked at Zoe with a thoughtfull look. "I'm not sure. Should I go up there and sing? Or does that annoy everyone?"

"What do I want to be?" Apollo asked as he would love to know what he wanted to be. A lighthouse keeper? A lamp maker? He really wasn't sure what Dayht would say.

Serefina sighed, greatly relieved that Rain wasn't rejecting her for what she'd just told him. It was a strange, unfamiliar feeling...but maybe that was just because she'd been alone for so long now...

"Maybe so," she nodded slightly. "I mean, I would hope I could, 'cause it was...kinda' scary to be honest, but I guess I won't know until it happens again. I can't seem to do it when I try...not that I've tried often, of course." That unpleasant story behind her, the Naiad was happy to lapse back into their dance.

This was...nice.

---

Kane shifted just slightly, his wing flaring before him as he turned and blocked the majority of the incoming liquid from hitting either himself or the angel behind him. His slitted eyes had gone cold and deadly...but carried none of the temperous fire of only a moment ago. His gaze slid over Takeko and the child, then Aspen nearby before he turned coolly back towards the ignorant female youth. His wing flicked suddenly, stiffly tossing off the remainder of the punch through the air and back towards Cressida.

Narrowed eyes filled with feral desires to kill and maim centered on the young teen and Kane's voice slid with deathly calm from his lips. "Normally, I'd be one to waste my time arguing with you about how I'm not like everyone else and how that should be quite obvious. I hate being so ignorantly classified as such. A waste of time indeed as you've proven yourself far too stupid for intelligent conversation. I'll admit, however, that you've taught me something here today."

Fangs flashing in a dangerous grin, his tail flicking with barely contained energy behind him, Kane leaned in to chuckle. "Today I've seen something even more despicable in my eyes to which to be compared. Congratulations."

He leaned back once more, seemingly calmly folding his wings back down over his shoulders. In reality, he was still tensed, his muscles almost twitching with the desire to kill racing through his veins and making his claws tingle. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be finding a more desirable location in which to relax. I won't lower myself to attacking mere children...like some. It's simply shameful..."

With an almost-cheeky smirk, the demon whirled on his heel and stalked into the crowd with an unnatural level of grace.

As distressed as Takeko appeared, she was actually quite relieved when Kane stalked away. That could have ended SO much worse than it did. Still cradling Melek close, she reached for Aspen's hand, squeezing it briefly. "I'll explain in a little bit. Let me check on Kane first, okay?" She nodded, leaving it up to Aspen whether to follow or not as she turned and started after Kane, tracking the scruffy mop of silver hair that slid smoothly through the crowd of Pae'il.

Melek meanwhile was pouting, angry that the blue demon hadn't eaten the mean girl. She was asking for it! That...and the angel child would have liked to see it. Especially after she kicked him. Would have been a fitting punishment in his eyes.

Aspen nodded but kept her hand inside his. "I'll come along, if only to watch over Melek if you need." Aspen didn't want to stay with the girl who had made all the problems. What was with the isle lately? He remembered when he was small no paes fought.

She bolted as soon as Magnus hit the floor, almost screaming as much as he had moments before. Eboraria didn't bother turning back to see what had happened or if the man was coming after them. She huffed and puffed when she slowed down in their hiding place, plopping on the ground to catch her breath. "That was stupid," she said in-between gasps.

It was so wonderful to see his friend again. He couldn't help taking the man's hand and loosely twining their fingers together. But even as he did this, he remembered whom he was looking for. "I was just looking for another friend. Maybe you know Tristen?"

A grand idea came to his head. "I know what we can do! The three of us can go find Tristen and I'll teach all of you a circle dance my parents showed me!" He suddenly grew gleeful with his next words. "I could find Jazz too! It'll be great! I promise, it's a really fun dance! Come on, we should hurry before anyone else asks them to dance!"

He towed the two adults along through the crowd, vigilantly searching. Where could he be? He saw the long, deep red hair in a corner of the room. He'd know that color anywhere. But as he approached, he noticed some woman talking to him. If that was another one of Tristen's friends, had come he had never seen her before? Admittedly, Tristen probably had a lot of friends that Hyacinthus had never met. It still seemed strange. Well, at least she was pretty. Maybe she'd like to dance too. There was no harm in asking, right? He called out. "Tristen!"

Rain smiled. "I guess it's just something that will happen when ment to?" He sounded a bit like Hula Bob. Which was weird because he hadn't grown up around him like his brother did.

Rain kept dancing around the room. Seemed like something was going on, but he didn't let it stop him.

Jazz looked around. "Ah, looks like Rain's dancing." She told Zoe with a smile.

Zoe nodded. "Yep, good for him."

This Haru wasn't so bad. He seemed pretty friendly. Texas had agreed to tolerate him, but he seemed pretty nice considering the way he acknowledged both of them and sincerely thanked Texas for the compliment. Perhaps he could give Haru a break. Even if Hyacinthus ended up liking Haru in the end, he at least left a first impression that allowed Texas to approve of him somewhat. "You're wel--" and he was cut off. Hyacinthus had begun dragging them around the floor. "Tristen?"

Oh no. That guy. While he could let Haru off the hook even though he was competition and Texas would never feel like the best of friends with him, one man he would never like was Tristen. That man made him uncomfortable and weary from the moment he met him as a teenager. As an adult, the feeling only grew stronger. It was accompanied with a deeper fear that Tristen was a threat to Hyacinthus in more than one way, and Texas couldn't have that. Yet Hyacinthus still wanted to see him.

"You sure we should see him? He's talking to someone at the moment."

Magnus huffed at Eboraria's remarks. "Well, that adult's just stupid. Maybe we should go find someone better!" He pointed randomly in the direction of three Pae'il who had only recently arrived. One of them looked like a human or something like the one Eboraria's brother liked, but the other two looked like Pae'il. "They'll be more fun to bother! I promise!" Although, it was a bit hard to tell if Magnus was really telling the truth. He was a horrible influence, after all.

"A dance, yes that sounds lovely. It's what I did come out here for..." When he lost his partner. Maybe they could find Yukio and get him to join the dance.

"Tristen?" He had heard of him before, but no he had not met him. Before he could comprehend anymore the three of them were being pulled all around the floor. When they did find this Tristen, he was busy.

She didn't back down, she didn't move, she didn't flinch or raise her voice. Just stared right back into those hateful eyes, twin emerald flames dancing in the light. "Normally, I'd be one to waste my time with a freak like you about how I'm not like you and how that should be quite apparent. I hate being in contact with such idiocy. However it would be a waste of time as you've proven to have the intelligence of a rodent. I'll admit, however, that you've taught me something here today." She had a really good memory and a quick mind to match. Whenever she thought to use it. Still the female didn't move as he walked away, furious, but not showing it. "Today I've seen something with a lower IQ then an infant. Congradulations."

"Oh you know me, a little of this, a little of that. I wish that I had known though that they served food in such events. I have a lovely spice that would have gone great in the punch." Poison. Alright, a little better. So she was up to her normal mischief. Question was however, was what. "Amara...don't get me wrong, I love seeing you..." sweatdrop He tried to visit her more often in Dragnid...however majority of the time he almost got eaten on the way in or out. "If anyone recognizes you, it'll send the entire party into a panic..." His eyes flicked to the side at his name, focusing on a certain pink pae. "Hyacinthus!" Oh no. Too late he remembered his sister. "Hyacinthus?" Slowly she turned, and smiled. A charming smile, but the warmth never quite touched her eyes. "You never told me you got friends Tris..." "Amara, please, leave him alone." He whispered feircely, almost desperate. "Oh relax Lover boy. I just want to talk." And with that, the red female walked towards the small party, golden eyes glittering behind her elegant mask. She extended her hand to the pink haired boy, simply doing color corresponses with her brother. "Hey...Tristen has probably mentioned me before to you all. I'm Amara...his twin sister."

She softly laughed, her smile turning almost mischevious. "The one who takes me back to the dancefloor. I'll teach you the swing later. When not so many people are watching." heart Complete innocence.

She spoke with a force, driven by frustration and pain. He wanted to know what she wanted? He had better be ready for her answer! But now her features softened, watching as the male paced towards her and taking a surprised step back when he took her wrist. "Just looking for some fun...parties are supposed to be exciting." What a flatline that was turning out to be. Slowly the female reached up with her free hand, and removed her fancy gold mask. "Do you want to have some fun?"

Hyacinthus shook her hand, a little embarrassed that he had interrupted their conversation. "No, actually. I don't think so. Sorry." If Tristen had, he wouldn't have recalled it to save his life. "I didn't mean to be rude, though. I've been looking for Tristen. Oh, I should introduce myself." Along with his name, he introduced the others with him and how he knew both.

The way that Tristen was acting bothered him. "Um, is he alright?" Maybe he was sick. Or maybe there was something else. He scrutinized Tristen for a few moments before looking back at Amara. "I was hoping he could dance with us. Maybe you could too, if you wanted." There seemed nothing inherently wrong with being nice to her.

"I hope you remember what I said I was gonna do." She pounded her palm with her fist to let him know. "They'd better be."

Amara... Amara... Where had he heard that name before? Oh, right! Aysu liked to relate the story of the lady full of barbed wire that she met as a toddler. Aysu didn't remember much, but she said that the lady wanted to eat her. Was this a cannibal? If it was, he had all reason to be weary of both her and Tristen! Wait, calm down, Texas. He let out a deep breath. He was probably just overreacting.

Speaking up for Hyacinthus, he butted in, "It's alright if you're both too busy, really. We'll just go on our merry way." Gladly. He didn't want to stick around --mainly because of Tristen, really. He would never trust the man, and it seemed like his calling of Hyacinthus's name was only going to get his beloved friend in trouble with the Amara-woman.

"Yeah yeah." Magnus swatted at her. Then, he beckoned for her to follow as he slipped through the crowd towards the new arrivals. "See? New people. They totally won't know what to expect. What should we do to them?" One of them was really tall, but that didn't bother Magnus at all. He was a brave child! Perhaps too brave for his own good, and perhaps too unaware of consequences, but in his eyes, he was the bravest faerie to ever hit Telrunya Isle.

What kind of question was that? Of course he wanted to have fun! However, it depended on what type of fun she met. He quirked a brow, letting go of her wrist. "Define fun. It's a very broad term; I'm sure you're aware." The leprechaun's eyes sparkled. Now, this he enjoyed. Perhaps he'd get a more solid answer out of her of what she truly wanted this way. Perhaps if he enjoyed it, he would join her in her pursuit of 'fun.' For now, Criofan was quite willing to watch her and wait for her answer.

"Well..." The mask settled back onto the bridge of her nose, a moment before she reached up to place that freed hand on his shoulder. The female moved on her tip toes then to softly kiss his lips. Short, sweet, teasing, right before she lowered back to her heels. The mischevious glint was back in those indigo eyes. "funs a broad term for a broad definition." A bit of a smile, her hands now settling on her hips amongst the golden sequins of her gown. "Recall how I entered? Act two is about to begin, and with Zana gone I have need of a partner. Interested?"

OOC: >>bops side of fist into palm of hand<< you did edit criofans previous post Sei! I thought I was just losing it earlier today when I was like, this gives a different feeling. Before he had said he would take down his ad as soon as his brother would let him. Ha ha! I'm NOT imagining things!

(( I reread it, and it just didn't sound like Criofan, so I changed it. The Criofan in my head said it didn't sound right, either. Didn't realize you had already read it, sorry. xD It doesn't really matter anyway, at this point.

And now that I've posted this, I might-as-well reply to Erylia. ;P But I'm not posting again until a few other people get some posts in. ))

Criofan tapped his chin. "Depends on what you need that partner for." He decided just to take the kiss in his stride. He certainly wasn't expecting it, but he wasn't one for reacting in shock or fumbling after such actions. Leprechauns weren't easily shocked, after all. Their job was to shock or surprise others when they realized he had gone off with their belongings.

She wanted him to take Zana's place? There were certainly some risks to that, and he wasn't going to just wait for them to happen. "Now, if you're going to make me get in a dress, or drag me around like a boytoy, or do some girly dance, I'm going to say no. Choose your words wisely, Erylia," teased the leprechaun, his eyes dancing once again.

Apollo nodded and put out his arm. "Alright, back to the dance floor My Lady." He smiled and winked from behind his mask. Of course his soft glow would have given him away to anyone even with the mask.

Christopher breathed from his diaphgram before he moved Adora to the dance floor, there he took her arms and put it around his neck before he hestiantly put his hands to her curvaceous hips. "I hope you don't mind me stepping on your foot a few times. I'm left-footed all the way," he said, making a gulp motion with his adam's apple and just moved the female in his arms around the dance floor, if not akwardly.

Haru watched the two with wide eyes. They were pretty, but of course he was prettier. He held onto Hyacinthus' hand and agreed with Texas, "Yes, if you are too busy I'm sure we can find others to join our dance. Didn't you say something about a Jazz?" This Jazz-girl had to be better than the vibe he got off these two.
