Oh, our cheerleaders just ignore us most of the time. They don't really do anything at football games. I'm not dissing them, there's one in my section, but the work they do is not at any football game that I've seen... I wish we got to go to away games! Mostly we just play louder than them...We can chant louder than them, too...
And there's one song, "Let's go scots" and "Swing lets go scots" Where we play the little 'inyoureffingface' song, and then the band shouts "LETS GO SCOTS!" before repeating. It's rather cool...

Blckpanthr13 scjsport Blckpanthr13 They hate MY band because he do this thing called the "Fight Song Fake Out".
The cheerleaders have their own little routine to the fight song music we play, and sometimes we'll play the first few measures of the song and stop...
The cheerleaders then actually have to finish their routine and look like dorks with no music. blaugh oh my gosh I LOVE that. I am sooo suggesting that to my band director! It's really a LOT of fun! They hate us so much! ^.^ yay for cheerleaders hating us! yeah, i dont see any real point for them anyways cuz the football players can hear them on the field....' As long as a few people from band can get on yearbook staff ^^

At our school it is the other way around. We hate our cheerleaders. The whole school does. Hehe. They are ugly and think they are the top of the world. They can't keep in time. It is really bad. I just want to scream out 5.6.7.8. So then maybe they could stay on time. The band is normale at our school. So that is a good thing. ^.^

nick, the reason the cheerleaders don't like us is because they think we're losers. we play instruments and know a lot about music. instead of playing sports and being ripped and etc.

For on the band hates cheerleaders at my high school not that cheerleaders hate us. they think we worship them just like everybody else. but truth is we make fun of them behind their backs. Plus we always blare the trumpets when they start to cheer. heee. In middle school half the band was prepy cheerleaders blah!! evil

Chiun it's cause no matter how loud they cheer a single trumpet player can drown them out.... also they are jealous of the lip and tounge control that band people have...cept the drummers...and they have fast hands.... LOL one time this prep at my school was all, "OMG I made out with my boyfriend for the first time the other day" and her friend said," OMG How was it?" and she said, "Oh, it was amazing since, you know, he plays saxophone!!" And I just sat there laughing my a** off cause my friend plays saxophone.

heh... our cheerleaders LOVE us. they are always like "ooo play another song!! we need to get the crowd pumped up because we are losing again!" heh.. its kinda funny... sweatdrop

I don't believe our cheerleaders hate the band. I know a few cheerleaders and they've expressed no aparent hatred towards our group. Heck, one of our cheerleaders is in band.

I know why the cheerleaders hate my Band. During the football games everytime the cheerleaders hold up a sign the Band will scream out 'S' (a few years back the seniors wanted to go out with a bang so when the cheereleaders would do their OHS-the high school's initals-cheer the senior in the Band would scream out S for seniors). The Band even bought shirts that are navy blue (school color) with a big white 'S' on the front. And then with all of the cheers that the cheerleaders do the Band has made up their own version of it and will scream out the words over the cheerleaders.

We are the only 'sport' besides ROTC that wins anything...let me reword that 'organization'.......so they feel obligated to be bitcher to us because that have to feel good about something becasue all of them are ugly anf most of the band girls are not.

Cheerleaders hate us because we can get an entire marching band to keep time for five to ten minutes and they can't get a tiny cheerleader squad to keep time for two minutes

I have to disagree. Our cheerleaders don't hate us. They're "neutral" I suppose. Just the other day at a pep rally, they started their little routine directly in front of the band. We talked with them, and they're nice people!
...or am I going insane?
