Even if you're a lord, you still must ask the city's master." Douglas eyed the apparent vampire. "Leave."

Murakai frowned inwardly stubborn baffon he thought to himself. He took on an sad and if someone had not known him better it would have looked innocent. He said "i tried to atain your consent but my envoys were all slayn on their way here. Apparently a group of men has formed a guild to fight against our kind. they are devastating our people in Chorrol and soon there wont be many left." Murakai was getting frustrated if the man knew anything about the world outside of his town he would know there was no such thing as a vampire hunters guild.

"Then stop by yourself. I'm usually there..." Douglas leaned against the wall, mentally hitting himself on the head. This was why he couldn't take a night for himself. Always city master business, anywhere he went. Gang fights, envoys to come to his city, blah blah blah blah BLAH. "Tonight was an exception. Needed a break for a few hours. You still could've stopped by. It's not really possible for a master to deny a lord the right into his city."

Murakai sighed and said "i tried to stop by but you were not there." his right hand slipped into his sleeve and he took grip of the scroll that was there. He was getting tired of this and was running out of patients. Murakai didnt like to be out smooth talked.

Nicky began to get confused as Douglas and Murakai talked bcak and forth. She began to wonder how long they had been here in this city. She took a deep breath and picked up the girl and moved her off to the side of the allyway fearing there mite be a fight. She looked back at the to vampires her ice blue eyes studying them closely. Her eyes picking up every word they said a she kept hold of the child.

"Had to feed, as you saw." Douglas mentally cursed himself. He'd never go without feeding everyday again. Really, what was he thinking, just going off and not feeding yesterday? Was he stupid or something...?
Douglas looked around the alleyway for the girl, and noticed the other one with her. 'Jesus! Look at her arm!' Douglas' eyes opened wide, and instictively his fangs came out. Suddenly he could smell the blood, now that his adrenaline was wearing off. It seemed to fill his nostrils, that intoxicating aroma.

He turned his attention to the two girls and said "dont tell me you honestly just now noticed the girl? what kind of vampire are you?"

"My senses go dull when I think there's a threat. It's sort-of weird really. Lots of adrenaline pours into my veins." Douglas studied the vampire. Even for a lord, this kind of talk still wasn't appreciated. Thoughts of complaining to the council were dismissed quickly. What kind of idiot went to the council for something so stupid anyway?

Murakai frowned and said "thats not a very good excuse. you dont seem like a very powerful vampire to me." Murakai knew he may be going to far but it was the only way.

"Humph." Douglas leaned casually against the wall. He didn't really feel like fighting, and his attention was more on the girl now. "Books and covers, ya know?" He was refering to the saying, but his attention was slowly slipping.

Nicky put the girl behind her. She licked the blood off her arm again as she heard her blood drip of her finger tips. She did realy care what happened to herself, just long as she child was ok. She quickly looked around and picked up a metal pipe that was near her and gripped it with both hands, but it only made her arm bleed more.

Murakai watched the girl as she picket up a pipe and said "that wount help you girl." he took his hand out of his sleeve holding the scroll he opened it with one hand. there was a strange symbol on it and he said "art of puppetry. secret performance of one: the flashing blades puppet." as he said that smoke seeped from the scroll and filled the ally. a form rose from the smoke. It held two claw like blades and apon closer inspection the form was made of wood and apeared to be a large puppet. (edit: this is what the puppet is supposed to look like. basicly.)

"The hell are you doing?" Adrenaline flowed into Douglas' veins again as he pushed himself off the wall. "Leave them alone! Unjust killing in my city will be reported to the council, lord or not." Douglas' eyes were hard as diamonds, and gleamed with an inner hatred. "Leave them alone."

Murakai's hands were both balled into fists and then they release. He held his fingers out and blue energy seemed to flow from his finger tips to the puppet. he moved his fingers a little and the puppet faced Douglas. Murakai said "can you make me?"

Nicky shook from the cold as she took a stance. She glaced at the puppet and back up a little. Then her arm began to sting. She dropped the pipe and began to try to rub her arm. The she went to licking it like she had done before. She picked up her pipe with her right hand and left her bleed left arms dangling at her side.
